It is unrealistic to say there are no cons, but the benefits of using Praxis every day with my patients far outweigh any drawbacks. The concept of EMRs leaves a lot to be desired, but Praxis makes it much easier to manage.

Compared to all the EMRs I have used over the years, Praxis is the tidiest, most organized and easy to navigate. The interface is designed to provide maximum ease of use. The system is really easy to learn, you can be up and running the system within a few days. Once you learn how to customize the settings to your preferences, it saves you a great deal of time and simplifies your day-to-day working. Charting is done very quickly. However, the choice of templates is limited. It does have some great features that consequently trigger alerts and best practice warnings relying upon the patients conditions in given charts, which help remind the staff not to miss key pieces of their patients care.

Cons

Some features could use a better sense of organization as they can be difficult to locate. But that could also be because I was previously used to a different system and it took me some time to get acquainted with Praxis. A great transition, nonetheless. The variety of charting templates is drastically limited.

Additionally, as a smaller EMR, there have been fewer upgrades and changes compared to larger ones. Setting up each note template per encounter took some time.

I have been using Praxis since I started my own healthcare facility ten years ago. It is the best service for an affordable cost. It integrates well with my practice management system which makes working a lot easy. Although, it can be a hassle to create the templates according to my precise needs. But once you get that out of the way, it is really simple to operate and saves you a ton of time and effort in the future. Our working is more traditional since we mainly rely on in-house servers for our software whereas the majority uses cloud-based services. I am completely pleased with my system. it has grown over the years and generated great revenue and success.

The note-taking format is very comprehensible and not artificially thrown together pointers. It helps me to review my own progress as a clinician through the reports, notes, and visits it records. Praxis works as a companion with me. The training and support staff are great. I used another program for five years and made the switch to Praxis almost a year ago and my working is faster than ever.

There is a learning curve because of its versatility. Although the training staff is very knowledgeable and do a great job of bringing you to speed.

It took me to switch three different EHR systems in four years to finally come across Praxis. I have been awful experiences before that cost me a lot of time and resources. I have been using Praxis for a month now and everything is working smoothly. The system is simple to learn, provides easy navigation. The interface is user-friendly, no cluttering. Not too many things squeezed into one system. Praxis makes charting so easy that for the first time in four years, I have free time on hands. It is not only efficient but accurately documents all needful details.

Making an arrangement of modifiable formats is basic and simple yet isnt something that specialists do regularly. The learning curve could get testing. In any case, Praxis has a lot of instructional courses on the web and constant support people that guided me and my staff in each inquiry that we have. A genuine training with the product face-to-face by a trainer was a major help.

There is by far nothing that I find wrong with this system. Note-taking tales no more than a minute. I am really glad I switched to Praxis

A training session in person with a trainer was also helpful. The clinic is running smoothly during the second week of use.
