Allows easy communication with patients

Pros

I find it simple to keep all charting and patient records together conveniently in one spot. I also like that I can message patients using the chat tool.

Cons

Honestly, I have no complaints about the software at all. The dashboard's customization options are excellent. When patients log in, they can always easily find exactly what they want to see.

All-in-one solution

Pros

Truly a complete solution for physical therapists. I run a cash-based clinic and rely on it to manage my practice. Over the past four to five years I've stuck with them and have been consistently impressed by their responsive customer support, how simple it is to generate superbills and the user-friendly layout and usability of the software.

Cons

No software is flawless, of course and the one improvement I'd really like to see is a more solid Home Exercise Program (HEP) feature.

Friendly staff

Pros

When I reach out to the team for fixes or support, their communication has been outstanding. Sometimes I worry I'm asking too many questions but they always respond kindly and seem genuinely glad to help.

Cons

Overall things have been great, although there was a bit of a learning curve when I switched platforms. They maintain a very useful help forum and if I can't locate an answer there I can always email them and they reply promptly.

Useful integration with Google Calendar

Pros

Found it really simple to use. I appreciate the Google Calendar sync, the messaging capability, the HEP integration and the availability of a mobile app.

Cons

I can't reorder exercises to match the sequence I want them performed which I find limiting.

They listen to feedback

Pros

It's pretty easy to use once I get the hang of the features and the support team is responsive when I suggest updates or improvements.

Cons

Would've been nice if there were more comprehensive video tutorials in the library. Luckily the help desk answers my questions promptly. The exercise-prescription feature feels clunky so we end up subscribing to a much pricier program elsewhere which really bothers me.

Top-notch EMR

Pros

I've worked with three different EMR systems in my clinic, and PtEverywhere is by far my top pick. It's convenient for both my patients and me, makes tracking metrics simple, works as an excellent practice-management platform, and includes everything I need without cluttering things with features I don't use

Cons

I don't really have major complaints aside from the occasional oddity when reports come back different than what I get running them manually. Whenever I've run into issues, their customer support has been quick to respond and walked me through fixes, helping me resolve problems.

Highly customizable

Pros

It helps me run my cash PT company. I like that I can schedule, chart and heavily customize things. It also ties into invoicing and provides very handy automated reminders.

Cons

I dislike the home exercise program as it feels pretty difficult to use. I wish they would connect with my CRM for automation. It would also be much easier if I could quickly tell who is on my active caseload.

Essential for our work!!

Pros

For our clinic, the hybrid model PTEverywhere uses has been essential. Its ability to switch smoothly between handling insurance-covered patients and cash-pay clients really simplifies how we manage appointments and billing with their platform.

Cons

Unfortunately, we've run into a few problems with the overall system and putting certain processes in place hasn't happened as quickly as we expected. On occasion there are small glitches that make documenting patient records more complex which has caused some frustration for our staff during busy clinic days.

i struggled to learn the system on my own

Pros

My IT contact has been an absolute lifesaver!! I've had numerous video calls with him to understand the finer points of the software. He has always been incredibly patient and knowledgeable and has helped me become mostly independent using the program now.

Cons

I had to spend a lot of time and effort to get comfortable. The Help section really didn't help me at all. Being an older person who isn't very tech-savvy, I struggled to learn the system and I repeatedly ran into dead ends when trying to follow the Help pages and FAQs.

Powerful yet flexible

Pros

Getting started with it was uncomplicated and it offers a powerful platform that's simple to adjust to my needs. The interface feels natural and supports my hybrid clinic exceptionally well!

Cons

Customer support has consistently resolved each problem I've faced yet I frequently struggle to locate the exact answers I need when browsing the help center on my own which can be frustrating and time-consuming.

Best Medical Software

Pros

This is by far the best EMR I've ever used. Running a cash PT clinic, it fits perfectly. It's fully modifiable to suit your needs, and the customer service is excellent.

Cons

None. There is nothing I would change about PT everywhere.

MY PTE experience

Pros

I love that patients can self-book and that I can add a booking option to my website. The customization features make the software feel truly personal.

Cons

The SOAP notes are a little annoying. I also don't love the document uploading aspect. It feels as though I cannot see all the other pertinent ancillary documents for a client (identification cards, intake forms, medication lists, etc). The system also takes some getting used to and is not as user-friendly as I would like.

Great Software, but Not Intuitive

Pros

I appreciate how simple the software is to use and how everything is integrated into one system.

Cons

I don't love how expensive the fax option is (I can pay $8/month elsewhere). I also had a difficult time learning new things in PtEverywhere because it's not an intuitive software to use.
