Pros
From our office's standpoint, the most beneficial aspect is having documents in electronic format. Setting up visit limits and reminders greatly aids in smooth operations. While it takes a bit of adjustment and remembering multiple shortcut keys, overall, it's an easy-to-use system.
Cons
I find it frustrating that when I am sending medical records via fax, pressing F10 to complete an action on the fax page closes the window instead of sending the fax, forcing me to re-enter all the information.

Pros
If you’re a young, non-specialty, clinical setup with non-techie staff busied with actual patient care, Raintree comes as our recommended, used-daily, option to consider. Its pricing tariff is also more affordable than some of the field big-shots that the big hospitals use.
Cons
Customer support needs a more professional makeover (perhaps hire more US-based reps on the team?). There are times when we need quick resolutions to some basic troubleshooting fixes; pouring over the online self-help manuals takes effort.

Raintree EMR is the only therapy/rehab software that’s legit.
Pros
As a downtown rehab center in Greensboro dealing with patients suffering from a range of spectrum disorders (including severe substance issues), we needed an EMR tuned to our regular workflow – since none of us at the center have time to deal with manual data entries on spreadsheets. After trying a number of different software apps, we chose to stick with Raintree. The system is easy to use and budget-friendly.
Cons
They could try adding a few more advanced charting features to the program. For example, a lot of rehab clinics like ours require KIOSK card payment options – something that’s missing at present (would be nice to have).

I find this software to be good. However, I wish there were more built-in alerts to flag when a chart lacks crucial information upon creating an EMR for a patient.
Cons
The help section is utterly unhelpful. It lacks relevant information for search queries, and there's no comprehensive guide to address every possible question.

We executed a re-discovery and uncovered a lot of functionality we were not taking full advantage of. In fact, Raintree’s Enterprise Team has created a list of recommendations which we will be prioritizing and working through implementing over the next several months.

I find Raintree's timesaving features aimed at making therapists' documentation faster and easier to be impressive. Although it may take some time to get used to it the platform is relatively easy to use and has helpful features like saving frequently used goals evaluation templates and commonly used phrases.
Cons
The system can be difficult to understand especially for therapists who are not familiar with technology. There are several steps and windows to navigate through which can feel unnecessary. However the integrated billing system is favored by uppermanagement despite the complexity.

I particularly liked that it caters to pediatrics, which can be harder to find in similar software options.
Cons
It is inconvenient that accessing the software requires downloading it onto your computer, rather than being entirely web-based. Additionally, extra fees are incurred for installing it on an iPad. A web-based login option would be much preferable.

Raintree effectively organizes client goals and objectives, offering an easy way to track whether goals were addressed during each session.
Cons
The system frequently experiences delays in opening and I've lost my work several times due to being unexpectedly logged out.

I love that it covers virtually everything needed for note-taking, evaluations, and billing. It's highly specific, ensuring nothing is overlooked when writing notes or signing off.
Cons
The note-taking process involves too many clicks and confirmation prompts, especially when saving. It's cumbersome that billing codes don't save from week to week automatically, requiring manual editing each time.
