Pros
The concept of an app for sending scripts seemed promising but unfortunately, it has not delivered reliable functionality.
Cons
This app randomly fails to recognize my password and unfortunately there is no prompt customer service. Considering the amount of money I've invested, the product should either be reliable or have a genuinely dependable and timely customer service help desk. If you work in healthcare and require reliable prescription methods, I recommend seeking alternatives.

You need to do better. Way better!
Pros
I have to say, my experience with it was a complete nightmare. Getting started was incredibly challenging and when issues arose, it felt like I was trapped in a maze of obstacles with no clear solution. Thanks for absolutely nothing!
Cons
Customer support is severely lacking. I submitted a ticket but there was no call. They responded via email, but it took four days to receive a message asking for the best time to call. How about responding when you receive the message?

No Customer Service
No Customer Service
Pros
The onboarding process was acceptable 6 years ago. They were attentive to my needs. However the current state of onboarding is absolutely terrible.
Cons
I have been a customer of this company for a while and they used to provide good service. However, it seems that their phone based customer service no longer exists. Virtual assistants are rude and incapable of assisting or connecting you with a supervisor or manager. I'm currently on hold for one hour and fifteen minutes. The email option only acknowledges receipt without any further action. I'm unable to send any scripts today, and I'll invest my time in finding a new company. They claim they don't have my updated email information, but the fully paid invoice contains all the necessary details. Trust me, it's not worth the hasslesteer clear!

Terrible Customer Service
Terrible Customer Service
Pros
It works occasionally but I cannot recommend it to anyone due to its inconsistent performance.
Cons
Customer service is practically non existent. I made multiple calls and the minimum hold time was one hour. I still haven't been able to speak to a human being. Email support is incredibly slow, taking several hours to respond. Moreover their answers were unhelpful and didn't solve my problem. It's incredibly frustrating when you rely on their service to prescribe medications to your patients.

Secure Prescriptions
Secure Prescriptions
Pros
The ability to securely send prescriptions is key for our organization. With EPCSs multi factor authentication, we can safely transmit controlled substances. Pharmacies receive prescriptions in real time, ensuring that scripts are in their system before the patient even leaves the session.
Cons
The user interface feels a bit cluttered. The landing page presents an abundance of information.

The worse software I have ever used.
Pros
This software meets the requirement for electronic prescribing.
Cons
Everything about it is a disaster. It frequently malfunctions and the support is terrible. When they do assist, it takes up to four hours to resolve the issue. I consistently encounter errors. Honestly I cannot emphasize enough how awful this software and company are. Avoid them at all costs!

The software is user friendly for both prescribing and checking the controlled substance database.

The software fulfills its intended purpose. My next suggestion would be to integrate the ability to check controlled medication databases from neighboring states, which is essential in my practice.

E-rx program written for IT- not the end user (the Medical Professional!)
Pros
The burden on clinical staff has been lifted. The prescribing provider can now handle prior authorizations at the time the prescription is written.
Cons
The clinical staff lacks access to unmatched prescription renewals and medications are all in lowercase. It's impossible to organize medications by category; alphabetical sorting is the only option.

Easy to use software
Pros
When it comes to sending prescriptions it is straightforward to use and navigate.
Cons
Sometimes prescriptions fail to submit to the pharmacy even after entering the password. Instead they end up in a prescription report tab, requiring the password to be entered again for resubmission. Patients often call the pharmacy, only to be told that they haven't received the script, despite Rcopia indicating the time of delivery. This happens frequently, leading me to believe it's an issue with the program rather than individual pharmacies.

Pros
As an administrative user I like having access to all patient and pharmacy information necessary to support our physicians. The detailed information is valuable, allowing me to track not only sent prescriptions but also pending ones that may have been written but not yet signed.
Cons
The prior authorization system lacks consistency. I am not sure if it is a software problem or if only certain pharmacies and insurances are contracted for this service. It would be ideal to handle all prior authorizations within one system.

It is a good e prescribing system as long as you don't require support.
Cons
I have been working with this company since its inception. In the start they were amazing and helped us overcome any issues we faced. However now they don't respond to tickets, fail to follow up on them and are incapable of fixing problems with their reporting systems. Don't expect to meet meaningful use while using the software because its all a lie. They even have a scam where they charge a hefty fee to guarantee meaningful use but we spent over a year trying to fix one report and missed meaningful use for two providers due to their system. They currently have the worst customer service among all the major companies I deal with. Their tech support hires individuals who know less about the system than I do. I can't wait to distance ourselves from this company, as they're tarnishing the reputation of electronic prescribing in general. When you ask for a supervisor, they eventually hang up on you. Customer support never has an available supervisor, and despite promises of a callback, they never follow through in any way.

Laborious, time-consuming, inefficient. Printing is still best.
Laborious, time-consuming, inefficient. Printing is still best.
Pros
Unfortunately many pharmacies have not fully embraced eRx making the process inefficient. We receive numerous calls from patients experiencing issues where pharmacies claim not to have received the eRx, despite being listed as accepting eRx in the Surescripts database provided to the software. This results in patients waiting at pharmacies for medications that haven't been prepared. Our office ends up duplicating work done during the patient's visit. Paper prescribing proves to be more reliable and efficient. Even electronic prescribing of controlled substances (EPCS) is highly unreliable. It's essentially a glorified secure email service, but the emails often fail to arrive!
Cons
Tech support offers very little assistance when it comes to the structural issues surrounding pharmacies limited participation.
