Pros
Compared to my previous e-prescribing software this one is much easier to use and has hardly given me any glitches or issues.
Cons
The version I am using does not connect directly with my electronic health record. Sometimes, a medicine prescription does not go through to the pharmacy and I do not get a direct notification about it. I have to check on another screen.

I enjoy the wide range of templates that allow me to focus on patient-centered care. The e-prescribing feature is excellent which makes review and authorization effortless.
Cons
The billing feature is complicated and I have had poor experiences with customer service. The system for adding and managing users is convoluted.

“Great prescribing program
Pros
I chose the RXNT prescribing program over others because the representative was very responsive to my tight timeline and promised quick setup, which they delivered on. The initial customer service was superb. Since starting, I've used it for all my prescriptions due to its ease and speed and the convenience of maintaining prescription records.
Cons
A few times, I noticed the program seemed unable to perform certain tasks. However, when I contacted RXNT Support, they showed me how to handle the issues like adding a brand-new, newly approved medication that was not yet in the system. So, there is really nothing to dislike as everything works for me.

I like not having to fill out all the demographics for a patient and that saved medications are viewable across our network.
Cons
I did like the pharmacy search to be easier for small pharmacies and I wish the pharmacy list could be saved across the entire network, like saved medications. More training would be helpful. The videos provide only a basic understanding and I had to figure out the rest on my own. It would be great if a representative could visit our facility for a training session.

I love the convenience of the mobile app and web-based interface. Ordering medications and refills is easy and they get sent immediately to the MD for signature.
Cons
Adding a pharmacy via the mobile app is difficult. It might be helpful to send reminder texts to MDs for pending items.

While rxnt was useful for scheduling and managing patients, I encountered numerous errors when sending forms to new patients, and distributing paperwork became quite challenging.
Cons
It is not user-friendly during the initial days with this application, adapting is tough, as it's very confusing.

Cons
If I could rate customer support zero, I would. Navigating this system is a nightmare, and you're left to fend for yourself. I can't wait to switch. Save yourself the trouble and invest in a different system. I regret not choosing Epic.
