Simple Practice is completely HIPAA compliant and offers efficient claims submission standardized progress note charting and compatibility with mobile devices. The ability to develop custom forms specific to my specialty is a plus. Support options through chat email and phone are timely and knowledgeable.
Cons
Several limitations only one supervisor per intern therapist calendars visible to all team members lack of functional invoices and inability to send group emails.

As a new user to private practice and Simple Practice I find it visually appealing and easy to navigate. There are plenty of options and templates for forms and scheduling is straightforward.
Cons
Its inconvenient that clients need a new link every time they want to open their portal.

Simple Practice has streamlined all aspects of my speech therapy practice from intake forms to billing. The calendar and scheduling features are helpful for organizing sessions each week.
Cons
Simple Practice had a learning curve initially and there are still some features that dont apply to my practice. The price also increased after six months of use.

Simple Practice has almost everything I need in one place from patient documents to billing and reminders.
Cons
Evaluation templates for SLPs are lacking compared to other platforms. SimplePractice doesnt provide visit counts or expiration dates on authorizations at the top of each note.

Overall this software is intuitive and easy to customize offering documentation and billing in one place at a low cost. The exceptional customer service is a major plus with helpful responses within 24 hours.
Cons
As a pediatric SLP Ive had to create my own templates due to insurance requirements. Id love to use the telehealth software but I need the ability to give kids remote control which isnt available yet.
