Ive used SimplePractice for a couple of years and found it easy to use but recent rate increases were announced with short notice.

Pros
As a solo practitioner Simple Practice feels like a reliable ally. Its comforting knowing everything is HIPAA compliant. They even offer intake form and practice policy outlines which are helpful guides. I appreciate the reminders for missed notes or unpaid client bills. Simple Practice also sends appointment reminders to patients acting like a personal assistant ensuring I stay on top of things while providing an easy platform for clients to access their documents. Its reassuring that Simple Practice simplifies things for both me and the families I serve. Plus the pricing is fantastic compared to similar programs.
Cons
Ive found that the plans of care arent laid out naturally for me. So I type up each POC on Google Docs and upload it to Simple Practice. It took some time to discover this process especially since Im not tech-savvy but I love it now.

Pros
Our community-based practice benefits greatly from the app feature. Since not all our therapists work in a clinic this allows them to document anywhere quickly. Making changes and creating templates is incredibly easy and straightforward. Our team particularly enjoys the calendar sync feature with our G-suite and the effortless billing process. As the administrative person submitting claims is incredibly easy freeing up a lot of time for other tasks.
Cons
While our practices calendar syncs seamlessly it would be helpful if appointments looked visually different. Also assigning supervisory roles among multiple therapists could be easier.

I find SimplePractice convenient for scheduling appointments with my provider. Its easy to view available slots request or reschedule appointments and I appreciate the helpful reminders one day and one hour before each appointment.
Cons
Im always requesting a new link to access my portal. I still havent figured out how to enter the Client Portal without taking this extra step from an old email.

Simple Practice is very user-friendly and easy to learn. I find the intake form and documentation templates easy to customize according to my needs. One of my favorite features is the ability to send secure electronic intake forms progress notes evaluations and messages to clients.
Cons
More detailed tracking of progress notes and re-evaluation due dates would be beneficial.

Electronic forms are a strong suit and the workflow is well thought out. I appreciate the various options Simple Practice offers. The credit card integration is seamless and the ability to treat couples separately is a plus. The feature to allow clients to vote on preferred features is commendable.
Cons
There are a few concerns lack of multi-factor authentication limited credit card processing options and no support for multi-way telehealth calls yet.

Filing claims with Simple Practice is very efficient once initial information is entered correctly. SOAP notes can be customized easily and entering data on my phone after each session is convenient. These features are why I continue using the product.
Cons
SimplePractice lacks some essential features I need in an EMR. Its particularly lacking in note customization data tracking and batch emailing capabilities.

I appreciate the ease of intake and creating new client profiles as well as the process of completing progress notes. Its simple and straightforward.
Cons
