excellent value and detailed notes

Pros

Compared with other systems this one costs less while offering more. The client web portal is really well done and simple to navigate and being able to set up classes is a big plus. The SOAP notes are also very thorough which has been really helpful.

Cons

The extra $10 charge for text reminders feels a bit pricey although even with that added fee I'm still paying $10 less each month than I was with my previous system. I'm also not completely sold on the checkout and invoicing workflow yet but that may just come down to needing more time to learn how it works and get comfortable with it.

GREAT support every step

Pros

Getting started was much easier thanks to the support team. Every request I submitted during setup was handled and I've felt genuinely supported throughout the process. I really appreciate their knowledge and how willing they are to help.

Cons

I'd love to see the snapshot feature show the names of other therapists or doctors, along with the client's insurance company name.

responsive support team

Pros

One thing that really stands out with this software is the customer service. The support team is incredibly thorough, responds quickly and does a very good job helping troubleshoot any issues that come up.

Cons

I haven't added another practitioner yet but it seems like the cost might be a bit high for having someone else use the same schedule and system that's already in place and already being paid for.

shared calendar and helpful support

Pros

Being able to view both locations on one calendar has been really useful. I'm also happy that the waitlist feature is coming soon. The pricing is better than Square Up and customer service has been helpful whenever I've needed them. I still need to see whether their support is as consistently available as Square's.

Cons

One thing I'd still want is the option to upload my own welcome letter and have it sent automatically to new clients by email.

Patient app drives more bookings

Pros

The new app feature has been a fantastic addition. It gives patients a simple reminder to book an appointment without constantly hitting them with marketing emails that usually get ignored anyway. While they're already on their phone, they can spot the app and book an appointment quickly which works really well.

Cons

Since the program is highly customizable, getting everything set up at the beginning comes with a bit of a learning curve. That said their customer service has been top notch. Whenever I've reached out, I've gotten an email response within a day and my questions have always been answered.

customizable features and fast support

Pros

There are a ton of features built in and the level of customization is something I really appreciate. Whenever I run into an issue, the Noterro team responds very quickly and usually gets it resolved the very same day.

Cons

One thing I'd really want changed is having breaks or recovery time separated from the appointment itself. That would make it possible to adjust those breaks or remove them completely depending on the patient since some don't require as much time in between as others. I also don't like how the appointment appears longer than it actually is when the recovery time is bundled into the same booking.

reliable features and helpful support

Pros

Noterro has been incredibly user-friendly while still giving me everything I need. I've tried other apps that cost a lot more and honestly they still don't compare to how good Noterro is. Whenever I've had questions or made requests, the support team has been very helpful and reassuring and it's been nice to hear that the things I'm asking about are already being considered for future updates.

Cons

It would be really useful to have an option to limit certain days for specific treatments. I'd also love an integration that connects Noterro with payments taken through my stationary Square machine. On a smaller note, I think a more visually appealing homepage would be a nice improvement.

excellent value and support

Pros

Getting started with Noterro was simple, the pricing is reasonable and the customer service has been some of the best I've dealt with.

Cons

It still doesn't have 2-way calendar sync, it's not ideal yet for mobile services and there's no way to create separate booking pages for each location which often leads to clients booking the wrong location.

Fantastic booking and receipts

Pros

Booking appointments, sending receipts, email communication and especially the new online booking portal all work really well. The whole system feels very user-friendly.

Cons

The older online booking system was less ideal. I'd also love to see more options built in for mobile therapists especially the ability to change addresses for each appointment.

simple scheduling that just works

Pros

I haven't tested uploading my own forms yet but I'm hopeful that part will be just as simple.

Cons

At the moment, the software still can't fax or send a note directly to a physician from the template. I have to download it to my computer first and then send it as an attachment. Noterro has mentioned they'd like to add this eventually but it's not being developed yet.

continually improving and simple to learn

Pros

quick support and perfect fit

Pros

Versatile tools for solo practice

Pros

Running a solo business with Noterro covers everything I need. The parts I appreciate most are the versatile features, customized forms, appointment scheduling and reminders.

Cons

There are some occasional glitches in the software but it's always being improved.

friendly team and constant innovation

Pros

Back in 2015 I moved over to Noterro which was still called SoapVault then. It was simple but more importantly, it actually fit what I needed because my previous online scheduling software didn't support professions that rely on SOAP charting. One of the biggest benefits has been seeing Noterro's friendly team continue to improve and innovate the platform over the years. The newest addition, the branded app, is something I'm especially excited to start using.

Cons

This product has continued to evolve right alongside the needs of my practice so I honestly haven't run into much to complain about. On the rare occasion something did come up, customer support responded quickly and either resolved the issue or helped me better understand how to use the feature. ;-)

online booking and capable support

Pros

Booking appointments online has been really convenient and the new personalized app makes the whole process even better. It's very simple to use and the customer service team responds quickly and knows how to help. Having SOAP notes stored right in each client's profile also makes it simple to keep appointments personal and well organized.

Cons

The part I'm not a fan of is having cards stored through Bambora while in-person payments are processed with Square.

good value for small clinics

Pros

Affordable and definitely worth the price especially for handling everyday tasks. It fits a smaller clinic really well and covers the basic functions without much hassle.

Cons

Customization feels pretty limited. At times it comes across as too basic especially when working with SOAP notes. It also doesn't handle multiple practitioners very well when everyone is trying to organize details and customize things their own way. Another issue is that there's only one admin role which makes things harder in a clinic partnership or management setup since assistants can't really help with configuring enough features. It would be much better to have lead provider and admin roles, in addition to regular providers with separate features and permissions.

Fantastic support and full coverage

Pros

Right from the start the customer service has been absolutely fantastic. The team keeps improving the platform and really pays attention to what their clients need. It's user-friendly and offers comprehensive coverage for my clinic. I'm genuinely very happy with this product.

Cons

Any small issues I've had are already being worked on. Whenever I suggest a feature by email, they add it to their list. Over the years, they've addressed every need I've brought up and they continue to do so.

online booking and forms win

Pros

Having online booking built in has been really convenient and the waiting list feature helps keep appointments filled. The agreements and forms are also a big plus and make the whole intake process much more organized.

Cons

One limitation I've run into is that characters can't be copied from the intake forms which is frustrating at times.
