cluster booking still broken

Pros

Having receipts and charting together in one place is convenient.

Cons

Receipts and charting being centralized is about the only upside. They promote cluster booking but clients can still get around it by booking multiple appointments and then canceling them. I brought this issue up for years eventually had to cancel my account and they still never addressed this obvious flaw. The interface is also less simple than they seem to believe and they're not responsive when it comes to suggestions for improvement. Even after telling me they would look into the problems I reported, nothing was ever resolved and now they still have my clients' information which leaves me with no trust in them.

very user-friendly and reliable

Pros

Even without being very tech-savvy, it's still simple to understand. There are helpful videos to guide you and if those don't solve the issue, their customer service is excellent and very responsive. Most of the time, they reply quite quickly whenever something comes up.

Cons

Honestly I have to really think hard to come up with any drawbacks. I've been using this platform for four years now and it has worked smoothly while adapting well to the different applications needed in a practice. At this point I can't really point to any real cons though having a mobile app in the future could be a nice addition.

well-designed platform

Pros

Everything feels well put together and simple to use. Compared with other programs where a single task can take multiple steps, this one gets things done much more directly.

Cons

At one point whenever something went wrong in the program or I couldn't find the answer in the help section, it was hard to reach someone right away. That said this has since been resolved.

Limited options

Pros

The setup is simple, the price is affordable and it's simple to use overall.

Cons

It feels limited when it comes to available options. There's no Physitrack integration, the insurance feature seems overly complicated and using Scribe feels more like reading a novel than working efficiently.

Smooth navigation

Pros

Pricing is affordable and the platform is simple to use and navigate for both me and my clients.

Cons

Right now there's no way to tell from the calendar unless I open the client's profile. It would be much more helpful if an appointment marked as a no-show changed to a different color.

immediate response with call and issue lookup

Pros

Whenever something came up, the response was immediate. Nick called quickly and got right into looking into the issue for me.

Cons

Nothing to complain about. In the rare situations I've had over the last four years, everything has always been resolved promptly.

text reminders waitlist

Pros

Text reminders, the waitlist and the overall flexibility have been really useful. On top of that, the support staff has been fantastic whenever I've needed help.

Cons

The only thing that feels missing is a built-in general messaging system inside Noterro since right now I have to rely on Mailchimp for that.

simple for both therapist and client

Pros

Using Noterro feels very simple for both the therapist and the client which makes day-to-day use really comfortable.

Cons

One limitation is that none of the software works offline. I'd really appreciate being able to complete charting when I don't have internet access.

wide format support !

Pros

The range of formats it supports makes it useful for a lot of different practice needs. After picking the right format and getting everything set up, it really helps organize the practice and makes documentation quicker and less of a hassle.

Cons

There are occasional glitches, most often after updates. I've had to reach out to the Noterro team a few times when that happens but the issues have always been fixed.

responsive service with barely any downtime

Pros

Customer service has been consistently responsive and quick whenever needed. Downtime is barely noticeable, if it happens at all and updates are scheduled at convenient times so they don't interrupt the workday.

Cons

The added charge for Scribe is the downside. It's a feature I'd genuinely want to use but I'm not willing to pay extra for it.

Everything about it feels simple to use. The way the menus are organized makes sense and it really improves how efficiently a private practice runs.
