“Smooth communication, incredible value
Pros
The ease of use is amazing and the customer support and Tebra community make it incredibly easy to learn and train new employees. What I like most is how easy it is to communicate with patients and staff and the interface makes navigating and managing patient records seamless. A HUGE plus for us is the value.
Cons
Nothing really. Sure, there are a few things I wish I could customize more but its always adding new features and updates. It's just a great system overall.

“easy scheduling in seconds
Pros
Best thing about this tool, in my opinion is how easy it is to create appointments. It's completely effortless. The calendar and dashboard are easy to find and scheduling takes me less than a minute.
Cons
The only thing I don't like is that I can't access all the features. I'm sure it's just because my training program has them locked for now while we're learning.

“Five stars without a doubt
Pros
It's easy to use. Customer support is prompt and helpful and the screen interface is good. I worked with another software at my last practice and switching was pretty smooth for me, except for dealing with patient records.
Cons
I want to use the patient records part of the software but it's hard for me to switch over from my old system, Practice Studio. I wish there were more tutorials to help me learn the patient management and records features.

“A medical assistant's new best friend
Pros
I love how easy it is to use. It's better than any other EMR I've worked with in my years as a CCMA. I haven't gotten too far into the program yet myself but so far, I love it.
Cons
Nothing so far! It's been a great experience. As a medical assistant, there's always more to learn and any tool that helps me work better and talk to my patients is a win in my book.

“Great support but limited payment options
Pros
The onboarding support has been great! My initial consultant was fabulous. The team answers my questions the same day and the turnaround time for fixing any issues has been great too.
Cons
I can't use Tebra Payments because I offer some Med Spa services that their policy doesn't allow for credit or debit card transactions.

Pros
It is easy to use and the customer support team is great. They're efficient and always available when I need to call. The reports are simple to make and they cover everything my practice needs.
Cons
My favorite thing about this tool is that I honestly can't find anything wrong with it. It's so easy to use, it's reliable and it just makes my daily tasks simpler. Everything from scheduling and billing to talking with patients works perfectly and feels really well-designed. It saves me so much time and gives me peace of mind knowing I can always count on it.

I called with a bunch of "Rejection" and "Internal" issues and the support team walked me through the whole process. They were so patient!
Cons
I have found that on some past support calls, the heavy accents made it a little hard to understand the concepts they were explaining. It helps a lot when the person on the phone remembers to speak a bit slower.

Pros
Appreciate how easy it is to use especially with the lab integration and now the AI for documentation! Having my lab slips and results sent directly is a real time-saver.
Cons
I don't like that there isn't live customer service available all the time. I usually have to submit a ticket online and then wait, and sometimes it takes them a really long time to get back to me.

Customer service has been great. The product is easy to use and every time I have an issue and call, they provide excellent help.
Cons
I'd love to see more features for mental health practices built in, like having more assessment scales and diagnostics. It would also be really nice if it could integrate directly with a tool like RXnotify.

“trusted system that keeps improving
Pros
Tebra is constantly adding new features and listening to customers to make great upgrades. I've been using Tebra (back when it was Kareo) for over 8 years, and it just keeps getting better. The help is great and I can send a message to customer care and get the answers I need. When I call, I get exceptional help too. I've done just about every job in our medical office except for being a provider!
Cons
I started doing billing with this system over two years ago and yeah, there was definitely a learning curve at first. But I will say, I've gotten a lot of good support along the way.

“excellent but the calendar could be better
Pros
I like how easy it is to use especially for progress notes. The customer support is also excellent and super helpful during busy workdays. The training opportunities are an added bonus.
Cons
The thing I like least is that I can't see my future appointments on the main calendar screen. It's a little annoying that I have to go to the patient's demographics page to see all of them.

Pros
It's very user friendly software. Even if you're a first-time user, it's very easy to figure out where everything is.
Cons
I wish things like the patient intake forms and the option to create a new patient were right there on the main dashboard when I log in. I also wish there were more versions of the software and ways to customize it for different types of practices, not just the note templates.

“An excellent platform with one confusing tool
Pros
The Tebra platform is excellent & it has everything I need to manage my business efficiently. The EMR system and telehealth features are versatile, user-friendly and they really simplify my workflow.
Cons
Desktop app for billing isn't the greatest. It's not very simple and can be pretty confusing to figure out.

Their customer support is good and on top of that, there are official resources like the university, blogs and a whole group of other users who help each other out.
Cons
You can pick it up pretty quickly especially with help from customer support. I haven't run into any major problems. I think with any EHR system, there's always going to be a bit of a learning curve and that's okay.

“frustrating updates and a broken calendar

Honestly I can't say much here. The only thing I like is that they send patients reminders for appointments but to be fair, all software does this.
Cons
The customer service is honestly terrible and they keep making pointless updates instead of actually listening to what their users want. The calendar is so frustrating and sometimes when you cancel an appointment, the change doesn't even show up. Other times, you have to try scheduling an appointment a few times for it to actually stick to the calendar. And if a patient has more than 10 appointments scheduled, there's no simple list to see them all; you have to manually hunt for them on the calendar. It's terrible, super frustrating and wastes way too much time that I should be spending on my patients.

Pros
It was super easy to get around after starting Tebra! I thought it was really helpful that everything is labeled so well.
Cons
I'd really like it if they added a way to see which staff member scheduled what appointment. Also getting some kind of confirmation when a referral fax actually goes through would be a huge help.

For our practice, Tebra's cloud access is a huge plus as it lets our team securely log in from anywhere which is vital for a modern clinic. I also want to call out a few customer support reps who stepped up and fixed serious billing problems for us, their commitment genuinely made a big difference.
Cons
I have experienced inconsistent, often frustrating onboarding and credentialing. We saw big hits to our revenue cycle when taxonomy codes were missing and enrollments dragged out. Cross-department communication frequently feels unclear and lacks ownership and it is rare to get written guides or follow-up documentation. Those shortfalls cause needless stress and increase operational risk.

“Didn't like it as a physician
Pros
Software was decent as a free platform in the past. Then, became increasingly more expensive over time when they started charging, which was expected. Now has become ridiculously expensive. Much better solutions out there for much less.
Cons
Since being purchased by Tebra, their management has a consistently increased costs and decreased their service level. Costs have now gone so high that we have to leave. They are now charging far more than other way better services like ECW or Meditab, that have way more functionality for each specialty. Plus, approximately once a month Tebra fails to send our claims to the clearinghouse, which takes us a month or two to realized resulting in late payment or non-payment. Costing us thousands of dollars.

Pros
I appreciate how I can find my way through the it so easily! I've never had a single problem with it since I started using it.
Cons
There's honestly nothing I dislike! I guess if I had to pick one thing, it's just the way the Notes section is laid out. It's a little clunky but that's really my only tiny complaint.
