Finding new insurance information and payor IDs is quick. Posting payments and handling copays is effortless. Customer service is excellent with fast response times and an easy to use chat option.
Cons
It is very hard to find solutions for error messages when claims are rejected.

Honestly I can't find any positive features in Therabill after switching to a different software. The interface is clunky and lacks logical flow. It fails to communicate with WEBPT as promised resulting in frequent delays and errors.
Cons
I experienced communication errors between WebPT and Therabill when starting a new practice, resulting in billing issues for nearly 3 months. The customer support team was unhelpful and I never spoke to the same person twice, starting from square one with each interaction.

I have been a customer since 2013 and billing is a simple process.
Cons
As our practice grew and we added administrators and therapists we were unable to change the scheduling colors for 14 therapists making it nearly impossible to manage. This problem worsened over time since 2013.

All the information is made available with grouping according to patient demographics. A neat feature.
Cons
The setup is so complicated that we couldnt figure it out on our own. It takes 2 days to hear back from the technical support team and even then they are not helpful. A bad experience indeed.

The software setup is horrible and it takes a long time to get trained. They have poor customer service and the representatives are not helpful at all. We are stuck with this software and the simulation videos that are supposed to act as guides are useless too.

Insurance aging is consistently low with Therabill. It integrates seamlessly with Web PT to streamline billing processes. Claims are submitted to the correct insurance, payments are accurately posted and aging is minimal and manageable.
Cons
It was not as user friendly as it could be to find information about claims payments and make changes to postings or errors. Customer service was only available through an internal ticket system and some instructions are better explained over the phone.

The software lacks features for prescribers and does not have a patient portal. Copying forward notes makes charting confusing and customer service is virtually non existent.

Having all demographic and clinical information in one place is convenient.
Cons
The setup process is complicated and involves various web services that don't communicate effectively with each other. There is a lack of prompt feedback for questions often requiring a two day wait for email responses. Phone calls are rarely answered and the service operates on Central Standard Time, causing patient reminders to be based on that time zone. Setting up text appointment reminders requires knowledge of the patient's phone carrier and there is no guarantee the texts will be delivered. They suggest using an express text service for an additional fee per text. Reconnecting all insurances with their clearinghouse during setup involves extensive paperwork back and forth with each insurance plan, making it a time-consuming process.

The customer support for EOB/ERA enrollment is terrible mainly since they recently changed the clearinghouse. They show no interest in resolving issues particularly for small practices like mine. It has been a bad and time consuming experience.

It seamlessly coordinates with our EMR (WebPT) allowing accurate and quick billing. The tutorials are excellent and provide helpful guidance. While it is moderately intuitive it does take some time to fully grasp.
Cons
Occasionally insurance information doesn't transfer correctly from WebPT to Therabill, requiring manual changes. However overall the transition is relatively smooth most of the time.

Cons
There are frequent outages and paid text reminders often don't get sent due to insufficient memory. The system lacks important and regular updates, and the user interface feels awkward.

We switched from Kareo to Therabill and the customer service at Therabill is non- existent. They cannot transfer you to another person in the other department as the building is next door.

We were promised improved management reports and features but we haven't been able to find them and even the Therabill team couldn't assist us in locating these advertised benefits.
Cons
We use Zirmed as a clearinghouse which was supposed to be compatible with Therabill. However, whenever Therabill makes changes to their program Zirmed doesn't get updated. Previously with Kareo as our billing system compatible with WebPT our bills were automatically sent out with a click of a button through the clearinghouse. Due to this glitch, we now manually fold and stuff statements for 470 accounts. I recommend using WebPT as an EMR but strongly discourage choosing Therabill.

I have been using Therabill EMR for the past 5 years and I have nothing but good things to say about this software. The customer staff is awesome.

Having all demographic and clinical information in one place is convenient.
Cons
The setup process is complicated and involves various web services that don't communicate effectively with each other. There is a lack of prompt feedback for questions often requiring a two day wait for email responses. Phone calls are rarely answered and the service operates on Central Standard Time, causing patient reminders to be based on that time zone. Setting up text appointment reminders requires knowledge of the patient's phone carrier and there is no guarantee the texts will be delivered. They suggest using an express text service for an additional fee per text. Reconnecting all insurances with their clearinghouse during setup involves extensive paperwork back and forth with each insurance plan, making it a time-consuming process.

The software is easy to navigate and use. I also like the direct integration with WebPT.
Cons
The customer support for EOB/ERA enrollment is terrible mainly since they recently changed the clearinghouse. They show no interest in resolving issues particularly for small practices like mine. It has been a bad and time consuming experience.

It seamlessly coordinates with our EMR (WebPT) allowing accurate and quick billing. The tutorials are excellent and provide helpful guidance. While it is moderately intuitive it does take some time to fully grasp.
Cons
Occasionally insurance information doesn't transfer correctly from WebPT to Therabill, requiring manual changes. However overall the transition is relatively smooth most of the time.

Consolidating all billing in one place and being able to edit patient information within the program saves time and eliminates the need for multiple programs.
Cons
In the beginning navigating the program was a bit hard (as with any new software) and the flow took some getting used to. But now it is great.

Pros
Therabill used to be a detailed billing and documentation software. However since it was acquired by WebPT, the frequency and helpfulness of updates have disappeared.
Cons
There are frequent outages and paid text reminders often don't get sent due to insufficient memory. The system lacks important and regular updates, and the user interface feels awkward.

We switched from Kareo to Therabill and the customer service at Therabill is non- existent. They cannot transfer you to another person in the other department as the building is next door.

Pros
We were promised improved management reports and features but we haven't been able to find them and even the Therabill team couldn't assist us in locating these advertised benefits.
Cons
We use Zirmed as a clearinghouse which was supposed to be compatible with Therabill. However, whenever Therabill makes changes to their program Zirmed doesn't get updated. Previously with Kareo as our billing system compatible with WebPT our bills were automatically sent out with a click of a button through the clearinghouse. Due to this glitch, we now manually fold and stuff statements for 470 accounts. I recommend using WebPT as an EMR but strongly discourage choosing Therabill.

Once you set up the product and understand how it works. it consistently performs well. Applying payments is easy and reliable.
Cons
While this product is good in so many ways still it is not user friendly or intuitive. It takes time to figure out how to perform certain tasks.
