10 years of specialized therapy at therapy source

Pros

Using a word processor is easier than writing by hand to document the necessary details required by insurance and other regulations because it helps me avoid writer's cramp and eliminates the need to provide justification in our notes, which is now required. However, I still have to deal with the quirks of TS.

Cons

Many people find it extremely difficult to learn. There are no objective measurement flow sheets available for hand therapists to track progress between visits. The treatment section lacks enough space to describe complex activities in detail, such as picking up and placing individual beads using thumb IP extension. The content seems to be aimed at nonspecialists, with many exercise descriptions that may not be accurate or easily understood by PTs with varying levels of experience. The code selections are confusing due to duplications and omissions, and some are placed in nonintuitive spots. There are errors, such as incorrect muscle testing for a specific nerve, with some muscles listed as being innervated by the wrong nerve and others missing entirely. Additionally, the spellchecker is too sensitive. I am unable to add certain abbreviations, and I’ve noticed that the add button is too close to the change button, resulting in multiple versions of "increase" in my spelling dictionary. When I get a new computer, I start with a clean slate, but my typing and accuracy don't improve, leading to the same issue. There are other concerns I could mention as well.
