Stay away from it!

Pros

I was hoping to use this for scheduling and processing payments.

Cons

When I set it up, the credit card processor wouldn't connect properly across multiple devices so I ended up cancelling the service. I had already paid for the CC processor yet when I went to cancel it they still insisted I pay another $100 for the supposedly "free" CC processor, despite the payment I had already made. That was incredibly frustrating and the customer support offered no real help. From my point of view this app felt scammy and I would advise others to avoid it.

Perfect for small business owners

Pros

As a small business owner, I really appreciate how well this manages customer information and sales. It's become my go-to tool for keeping everything organized and tracking transactions reliably.

Cons

What I like least is the employee setup. Adding staff isn't as simple as it should be and I wish that whole process were much simpler and more user-friendly.

Keeps track of all service providers

Pros

I'm really glad I can easily keep track of all my service providers and that scheduling or changing appointments whenever I need to is such a simple process for me.

Cons

When I try to schedule and accidentally hit the back button, it annoyingly drops me all the way back to the very start of the process instead of returning me to the specific spot I was working on which is frustrating.

Pros

I enjoyed how easy it was to find nearby places for spa treatments and massages. It highlighted reputable businesses and the many clear, high-quality photos gave me a good sense of what to expect before I booked.

Cons

I noticed several really nice spas in my city that weren't listed on Vagaro so it doesn't include every local option I came across.

Amazing features

Pros

Honestly the features leave me amazed. I could spend an entire year setting up every option and still find more to explore. Their customer support is outstanding and reliably available.

Cons

I'm still getting familiar with all the settings needed for managing customers and clientele. There really is a huge amount to learn. It did take me a while to take it all in but in the end it's absolutely worthwhile. I wouldn't have stuck with them for years otherwise. I'm proud to rely on their service for both myself and my clients.

Meets our needs effectively

Pros

As a business that offers spray tans and teeth whitening, Vagaro really meets our needs. It's user-friendly to use, keeps getting better with frequent updates and whenever we've needed assistance, their customer support has been excellent.

Cons

In the rare times over the last four years when it has gone offline during our operating hours, it has completely halted our work. We lose access to the calendar and can't check clients out which effectively disables the business until it's restored.

Easy to share bookings with people

Pros

I'm lucky that every beauty spot I go to, hair, nails, brows and spray tan places all run on Vagaro. I've been using their app for years now and genuinely love the convenience it brings to my routine. It's simple, sends helpful appointment reminders and lets me add several services into a single cart for one visit. Sharing bookings with friends or family is simple and even my older relatives can follow the process without trouble.

Cons

I like dark mode on my iPhone and I wish it offered that option since the phone feature is important to me but honestly it's not a dealbreaker. Other than that small missing feature, I have no real complaints. The app makes it easy to schedule or cancel appointments and to check when my service providers have openings.

The customer support they offer is of next-level

Pros

Both the desktop and phone app are user friendly. I also like how easy it is to generate reports. mainly for payroll purposes.

Cons

It causes a lot of frustration when the system experiences prolonged downtimes mainly when I am working on something important.

Pros

It's proven to be a great tool for me as it really does everything I need. Plus they are adding new features all the time to make it even better. The thing I love is that I can have a different room for each service, and it is super easy to use.

Cons

I would like to say that there could be better notifications for the waitlist. Additionally, it is confusing to find our Merchant details each month and the overall appearance could be improved somehow.

The main things I like about this software are that first it is very easy to learn, plus it also includes built in credit card processing.

Cons

I wish there was more flexibility to edit the titles and an easier way to accept shared package people for our clients. Because at times this feature doesn't work properly the first time clients try to use it which is not ideal.
