Pros

This platform meets my needs and is perfect for psych setting. The support team is very professional and helpful and resolves any issues that might pop up in a timely manner.

Cons

There really isnt much to say here. No issues no complaints just smooth sailing.

“Organizes paperwork and billing

Valant EMR makes billing and record keeping organized and well managed for me. It offers a secure HIPAA compliant platform where all my communications with clients and therapists about treatment, billing and scheduling can happen in a private safe space.

Cons

Sometimes updates can cause a few issues which means I have to submit tickets to Valant. Another thing is that once you enter a billing code and the amount for a client it doesnt change even if the amount changes. So the billing person has to manually adjust it. Its a quick fix though and the best part is that all claims can be submitted in one go with a single click so its totally worth it despite this small drawback.

Valant EMR makes billing and record-keeping much easier. Also it is HIPAA-compliant and keeps all client and therapist communication whether it is treatment, billing or scheduling in one secure place which I like about it.

Cons

Sometimes updates cause small issues so I have to submit tickets to it. Also once a billing code and amount are entered, they do not update automatically so the billing team has to adjust them manually. Luckily that is a quick fix and being able to submit all claims at once is a huge benefit that makes up for it.

With HIPAA compliance, security, debit credit card processing and a secure portal, this program has it all. Plus youve the software engineers available until 8 pm EST and theyre really responsive and open to suggestions for updates.

Took me some time to get used to it but I dont regret it a bit. It adds an extra layer of security especially for management when dealing with employees.

Valant has helped me manage everything in my practice for a long time now. Never felt the need of an office manager because this tool did it all for me. With it I could keep everything I need in one place.

All these years and I still cant point out a flaw, thats how good it is. There team has always been there whenever I needed guidance.

The system supports HIPAA, security, card payments and a patient portal. The engineers are available until 8pm EST and they really know their stuff. Also I like that they listen to suggestions for future updates.

It was a bit hard to learn at first but I would say it's worth it since it gives management better control and added security with employees.

It allowed me to manage everything in my practice efficiently. I did not need an office manager because Valant took care of everything. Plus it was the central hub for all my practice needs.

I like how simple and easy it is to use. Also it is less difficult compared to many other EHRs I have used over the years.

Well I have run into some problems with electronic labs but I believe that's more about the lab I am using than the software itself.

Adding schedules and progress notes is super easy. The progress notes are really convenient to read and review once theyre in.

I see no downsides to it. Everything on the site is super simple and I didnt run into any issues at all.

The overview is really simple and the flow makes sense. I also do like the RCM module and reports.

I found it a little tough to get around at first. Also everyone can access each other's patients which could be a concern.

Adding schedules and progress notes is really easy and once they are saved, the notes are clear and simple to read.

The program is super simple to use with clear sections for documentation. I really appreciate how the information flows between notes making it easy to keep track of whats happened in past sessions. I also love how group notes are distributed and the ability to save and edit macros is a huge help.

Cons

It would be great if I could remove tabs I dont need in my usual note templates. Would also love the option to save certain subheadings or even personalize my notes a little more.

I must say its very tidy and user friendly. The tabs are organized in a way that keeps everything structured so I never forget anything.

I would have appreciated an app for providers. It would make things so much easier and more convenient.

Pros

Valant EHR works for a range of providers from therapists to psychiatrists and makes everything flow together for clinics with different types of care. It also includes a prescription management tab that prescribers can use making it a great tool for everyone.

Cons

I find the interface to be a bit complicated. Not the easiest to get the hang of!
