“Misleading Billing Practices”

I have no positive feedback to share, I dislike it as they misled in their advertising.
Cons
We chose this service based on its advertised integration with another clinical software we use for billing. However, the actual integration has been problematic. Despite using their software for less than two months at a monthly cost under $1000, we were shocked to see an additional charge of $15,000 on our bill. So I would say test thoroughly before transitioning to their software.

“Gets the Job Done”
Pros
It is a great program that integrates with our complex operating system, facilitating easy claims processing, monitoring and corrections or resubmissions as necessary.
Cons
In general, we are satisfied with Waystar it is cost-effective and integrates well with our billing program Allscripts. The only downside is that not all payors are covered, necessitating a second system for insurance verification or claims submissions at times.

“Efficient Claim Management”
Pros
I appreciate that this software allows me to manually enter claims when needed. Waystar processes claims every day and in a matter of minutes, in contrast to other clearinghouses that take between 48 and 72 hours. It is not only helpful to me (the biller) but also to other departments like intake and authorizations because running insurance verification is simple to do.
Cons
Some of the rejections they do are not very clear to me, and they take their sweet time in getting back to my query. The rejection can occasionally appear in multiple categories, but after one is finished, it also removes itself from the others.

Pros
Excellent for electronic claim submissions. Overall, submitting and accessing claim remits is quite simple and easy.
Cons
The remits only cover the past two years. Trying to retrieve older claim remits results in an error message.

Apart from its integration with our PM software, Waystars unique feature allows users to resubmit rejected claims through the software, saving time and reducing errors by resolving claim issues directly within Waystar.
Cons
I have no complaints and would recommend Waystar to all clinical practices.

The billing feature and claims follow-up tool have proven invaluable for our team. It offers quick access to rectifying claim rejections and resubmitting on the same day. The system provides easy access to EOBs for claims denials and includes an appealing feature for sending appeals directly.
Cons
I was not involved in the software installation process so I cannot say anything regarding that process. However our main issue involves secondary claims; when we bill line items, it duplicates the information in both the line item and claim. Correcting this requires manual intervention in the claim.
