“Great tool that struggles with consistency
Pros
Scheduling tasks is very easy, and the charting features operate effectively. I also appreciate that there are multiple options available for completing each function, which adds flexibility.
Cons
The system frequently goes down. There was one occasion when it was down for an entire day, leaving our 16 medical offices unable to function. Usually it goes down for about two hours each week and/or experiences slowness. It often says its overloaded with "requests" for access. The support is virtually nonexistent.

“Noticeable decline in quality & value
Pros
I have noticed that the EMR significantly enhances the workflow during evaluations.
Cons
The customer service is absolutely poor. Responses are slow and issues are rarely addressed quickly. Onboarding a new clinician is far more difficult than it should be. The process which should be simple is often made painstakingly complex by WebPT. Features frequently fail to work. We waited nearly a year for the waitlist feature to be fixed which is important for tracking new referrals. Consequently, we had to manually track new clients using a separate technology to avoid losing business. The system is often unreliable due to outages or downtime. We have had to implement "downtime" policies and procedures more frequently than anticipated. The cost is not justified by the overall value, and the price has been increasing according to the recent information from WebPT.

“Poor choice
Pros
Writing notes in the EMR is quite simple. I also find REACH very helpful for keeping in touch with both current and past patients.
Cons
The components of WebPT such as EMR and billing, do not communicate with each other. The billing program does not obey to standard accounting processes.

“All-in-one platform for PT professionals
Pros
Web PT simplifies documentation needs even for those new to charting. The templates available for crafting notes and meeting documentation requirements are better than those on other platforms I've used.
Cons
I did not like that the TheraBill feature was not integrated into a single platform. Even though the two systems are linked, its inconvenient to use a separate web-based system for submitting claims.

I feel that finishing SOAP notes is much simpler and faster, but I still spend a significant amount of time on initial evaluations and progress notes.
Cons
I am concerned about customer service, billing and overall professionalism.

I believe there are better, more cost-effective options available that provide additional features.

“Minimalist EMR/EHR solution
Pros
I really like the templates for various special tests and exams in PT. They make documenting test data during evaluations, progress notes and discharges much easier.
Cons
I wish WebPT had a smart phrase or list feature like Epics, which auto-populates phrases or lists by typing in a shortcut to make documenting more efficient.

“Do not consider this EMR
Pros
I don't find the system to be very efficient, and it doesn't seem to be designed with providers' needs in mind.
Cons
Both customer service and the EMR seem to get progressively worse with each upgrade.

“Beware of WebPT!
Pros
The scheduling feature and the automatic reminder texts/emails are the features which I like the most
Cons
The connection between their partner software (Theraplatform) frequently excludes superbills. Unless I compare them daily I won't submit all my claims, resulting in lost revenue. Switching clearinghouse companies is a hassle as they prematurely disconnect the original clearinghouse and assign tasks piece by piece before starting a new connection. This leads to significant delays in revenue and their response time is very very slow.

“Easy to learn
Pros
It is relatively simple to learn and also to train new employees on. If you are looking for a secure, scalable, and efficient solution that has a proven track record, I believe WebPT could be the ideal choice for your practice.
Cons
Making changes or fixing errors without administrative access is challenging. As a result there are multiple additions and email exchanges before things get resolved.

“Glitches and terrible service
Pros
The user interface is very easy to use for novice users.
Cons
The customer service experience was very annoying for me. They offer an online chat option but its only helpful for answering basic technical questions. When there is a major issue with my account, they lack the authority or power to correct it. Even when I call and speak to their "member services" representative the experience remains the same. My frustration stems from my transition from WebPT to Prompt. As a long time WebPT customer, I needed more functionality that they couldn't provide. After settling on Prompt I promptly informed my client success manager about my plan to switch. I even mentioned that I would remove all but one therapist license from WebPT and Therabill so that I could continue working on my accounts receivable. I notified them six weeks in advance and they overcharged me by $7,000. I immediately called for a refund but they told me I couldn't speak with anyone from accounting at that time. Instead, they assured me that a member services representative would reach out to me. Despite my repeated calls and emails over the next four weeks, I didn't receive my refund. It was only after reaching out to an individual on LinkedIn that I finally connected with someone who helped me get my refund. Now, I'm facing the same runaround on a separate issue. Apart from their horrible customer service, their software has some serious flaws. The reporting and KPI features provide inaccurate information, and their POC report is seriously flawed. Therabill's billing reports lack sophistication and basic functions. I used their "Reach" software for years to generate Google reviews, but I had minimal success. Surprisingly, within just one month of using Prompt, I obtained more reviews on Google than I had in years with WebPT. My advice is simple: don't waste your time or money with WebPT.

“Not recommended! Poor service
Pros
It works similarly to other EMR systems and doesn't have any special features that make it different from others available.
Cons
There are frequent outages with poor communication. Everything has an additional cost making it expensive for what they offer. On average it costs over $300 per clinician.

“WebPT won me over, so I chose it for my clinic!
Pros
The integrated notes are detailed without any unnecessary duplication. Also, documentation looks professional and can be easily sent to doctors and case managers. It seamlessly integrates with Therabill for billing.
Cons
Sometimes it takes multiple attempts or a long time to bring up a new note for a patient.

“Not my preferred option
Pros
Although this system is used in the clinics where I work, I decided to go with a different EMR for my personal business because I find it much more suited to my needs.
Cons
I think writing notes is time-consuming. Although this system is more user-friendly than others, there are better choices out there that offer more efficiency.

The customers support is lacking. They sell products that aren't ready and deceive customers.
