Pros

The scheduling feature and the automatic reminder texts/emails are the features which I like the most

Cons

The connection between their partner software (Theraplatform) frequently excludes superbills. Unless I compare them daily I won't submit all my claims, resulting in lost revenue. Switching clearinghouse companies is a hassle as they prematurely disconnect the original clearinghouse and assign tasks piece by piece before starting a new connection. This leads to significant delays in revenue and their response time is very very slow.

An EMR riddled with bugs and the worst customer service experience ever
Pros

The user interface was quite easy to navigate.

Cons

The customer service experience was very annoying for me. They offer an online chat option but its only helpful for answering basic technical questions. When there is a major issue with my account, they lack the authority or power to correct it. Even when I call and speak to their "member services" representative the experience remains the same. My frustration stems from my transition from WebPT to Prompt. As a long time WebPT customer, I needed more functionality that they couldn't provide. After settling on Prompt I promptly informed my client success manager about my plan to switch. I even mentioned that I would remove all but one therapist license from WebPT and Therabill so that I could continue working on my accounts receivable. I notified them six weeks in advance and they overcharged me by $7,000. I immediately called for a refund but they told me I couldn't speak with anyone from accounting at that time. Instead, they assured me that a member services representative would reach out to me. Despite my repeated calls and emails over the next four weeks, I didn't receive my refund. It was only after reaching out to an individual on LinkedIn that I finally connected with someone who helped me get my refund. Now, I'm facing the same runaround on a separate issue. Apart from their horrible customer service, their software has some serious flaws. The reporting and KPI features provide inaccurate information, and their POC report is seriously flawed. Therabill's billing reports lack sophistication and basic functions. I used their "Reach" software for years to generate Google reviews, but I had minimal success. Surprisingly, within just one month of using Prompt, I obtained more reviews on Google than I had in years with WebPT. My advice is simple: don't waste your time or money with WebPT.

Don't use it!! Frequent outages. Poor communication when things are not working.
Pros

It functions just like any other EMR without any standout features.

Cons

There are frequent outages with poor communication. Everything has an additional cost making it expensive for what they offer. On average it costs over $300 per clinician.

Loved WebPT so much, I chose it for my own clinic!
Pros

The integrated notes are detailed without any unnecessary duplication. The documentation looks professional and can be easily sent to doctors and case managers. It seamlessly integrates with Therabill for billing.

Cons

Sometimes it takes multiple attempts or a long time to bring up a new note for a patient.

Cons

The soap notes template is saved and easily accessible. The staffs training is quick because the system is easy to follow and understand.

Cons

Despite the updates in tracking staff activities, it is still hard to understand what the person did on the report when you simply want to see it in a simple form.

WebPT is a good program.
Pros

I like the integration of Therabill into the WebPT platform.

Cons

I have a few things that I am not a fan of. Firstly I really dislike the unavailability of SMART PHRASE. Secondly I am not a fan of the frequent price increases in my package. Thirdly the frequent glitches are bothersome. For example, suddenly we can't chart up to the 10th visit for Medicare. It stops at 9 and insists on a Progress note. Fourthly, when I cancel a client, it completely disappears from the schedule, making it difficult for future scheduling. It would be better if it could simply fade out and say "cancel."

Not pleased with the product for past three years.
Pros

As a PT I like the ease of use. Also having a designated contact person for our account was a great feature but that ended in 2019.

Cons

Therabill is difficult to use and the transition from WebPT is not as seamless as it should be. It is overpriced and the customer service has declined since COVID-19. I had a positive experience with their customer service from 2010 to 2019 but it has been disappointing recently in terms of response time, accessibility, and assistance.

I like that I can verify insurance benefits for patients and that the EMR offers some other useful features too.

Cons

I am unable to add assessments other than using the custom assessment section. It would be easier for me to create my notes if I could manually enter my own assessments.

Great PT EMR
Pros

The responsiveness to assistance and the incorporation of feedback to update the product are commendable for me.

Cons

Firstly the previous measurements don't carry over to new progress notes in SOAP 2.02-SOAP 2.0 documents. Secondly the printout/fax layout takes up too much space and pages. Lastly there is no option to email or securely send documents other than through fax.

Pros

I really like the ease of use of WebPT and the flexibility of a month to month basis. The professional appearance of the documentation is also a plus.

Cons

I am not a fan of the adding physician and insurance features. They are not as smooth as I would like. Additionally, at times discharged cases show up when logging in under a clients name if they have multiple cases on file. I reached out to WebPT to address this issue hoping that only the current case would appear first, eliminating the need to toggle back from a discharged case. Unfortunately I didn't receive a satisfactory answer. Moreover patients cannot book their appointments through a public portal which is inconvenient.

Pros

Its okay to use because it is Medicare compliant but it can be difficult sometimes and a bit outdated. Its not comfortable to use with tablets or phones.

Cons

The customer service is poor and there is no ability to duplicate similar evaluations or create prefilled templates.

The interface is clean and displays information clearly. Changing or creating schedules is effortless and the charts keep track of patients visits seamlessly. It is easy to see the frequency of visits and reasons for attendance or non attendance.

Cons

The reminders cannot be customized and it would be helpful if the charting for patient visits automatically updated with each visit. Currently it may inaccurately show a patient attending fewer visits than they actually have, making it hard to track.

Pros

I love that WebPT meets all my needs as a private practice owner and physical therapist.it is all in one comprehensive platform.

Cons

I would like to track and schedule non insurance services such as wellness or other cash services. Maybe I am not aware of how to do it but I want to set up reminders for those individuals. Additionally I often need a one time only option for charting internal payments and billing. It would be great if there was a feature to allow that. Feel free to call me to discuss further.

Scheduling patients is the simplest with webpt and learning and using the documentation on the therapists end has been simple.

Cons

The waitlist works only about half the time. It would be helpful to have bolder lines between the days on the schedule. Additionally having an option based on medical necessity under visit/insurance information would be beneficial. Having a dog ear on patients' appointments where we can track notes, such as requests for a female therapist or dry needling, would be convenient. Lastly, being able to schedule only one appointment at a time would be an improvement.

Pros

It is great to use for scheduling appointments, making changes and cancellations.

Cons

Its difficult to figure out when you accidentally delete an appointment and don't know who it was for or where it was on the calendar. If you mistakenly delete the wrong appointment you won't know who it was for if you're already working on something else as the message at the top disappears.

Note writing is very efficient and organized. You can keep track of insurance and use the notes to manage patient files.

Cons

A good pick for physical therapists.
Pros

I really like this software because of its ease of use and its ability to be integrated with other EMR platforms. With this, it has become very simple to do scheduling and navigating patient charts. The fact that it is integrative with Therabill is an added bonus. At this price, this is one of the best software for physical therapy that has made the execution of remote work easier.

Cons

Sometimes the server crashes and stops responding due to which data is lost. But since it does not happen so frequently, it is not a huge problem.

As this product is specifically made for Physical Therapy, They have a great setup and really easy to use. I can easily store the information and another benefit that it contains is that I dont have to do paperwork anymore

The templates enable easy access to information. Records are readily acquired by new consumers as well as insurance companies to approve authorization. We have been able to transfer our previous data onto notes which allows us to retain our previous formatting.

Cons

It costs to integrate aspects individually. The calendar view is not available meaning it is difficult to access information on a patient if their name has been misspelled.

We had no time wasted for training!
Pros

We had to start using this service immediately because of a provider and lost no time thankfully because it is so easy to use that no training was required. While we only use it to retrieve information which is always a smooth experience, our provider told us that inputting information is just as easy!

Cons

There is only one small complaint that you have to type out the patients full name exactly how the provider added it to the system or it wont show up!
