“The real open-sourced ERP
Pros
What we love most about ERPNext is its stability as a solid ERP solution. All its modules are readily available and work effectively without needing any customization.
Cons
It does not have a recommended solution for POS hardware which we'd appreciate if added.

“The world's easiest ERP to use
Pros
It is the only ERP I have used that can be deployed easily, with training for users completed in just a few days.
Cons
It lacks strong international support; for example, it does not comply with any Latin American regulations.

“The ideal ERP system for new users
Pros
ERPNext provides me with numerous options for customizing and expanding the software to meet my specific needs. This flexibility allows my business to adjust features or add new ones as I grow and evolve.
Cons
I have noticed that the freedom to customize the software as I wish is becoming more limited in version 13 and later versions.

“Unlimited choices for personalized success
Pros
I believe the success of ERPNext largely stems from how easy it is to use, its flexibility, and the a lot of options it provides. These features allow me to use the system with minimal difficulty and adapt it to my specific needs.
Cons
We would really like to see features that are specifically designed for the construction industry.

“Most flexible software
Pros
ERPNext acts as a comprehensive suite that addresses most data structure issues right from the beginning, especially when all modules are implemented at the same time. Plus, the customization options are almost limitless, allowing even non-IT professionals like me to manage some basic adjustments based on business needs. I find that document flow and control are also easy to learn and use, offering the necessary flexibility for each function and making implementation smoother.
Cons
Other than the fact that stock and account ledgers do not provide monthly, quarterly, or yearly reports and do not let me compare with previous periods, I do not have anything negative to say about ERPNext.

“Best choice for open source software alternatives
Pros
The software is highly adaptable and can be customized according to the specific needs of an organization.
Cons
The navigation between screens should be improved so that users can easily return to the main screen while moving to other screens.

“Impressive UI and consistent updates
Pros
It is simple to install and functions well right from the start. It provides options for both no-code and full-code (Python) customization, along with UI and dashboard customization. Its default settings and data models effectively cover most common use cases.
Cons
Keeping up with software updates requires me to have detailed knowledge and engage in careful planning. I find that rapid obsolescence is a significant issue if I do not stay current with updates, especially for production systems that handle a large amount of data. I see the potential for third-party data migration tools to assist with software updates. I believe that strengthening the ecosystem to support these third-party offerings would be beneficial. Also, having a versioning system for data models that clearly outlines the changes would greatly aid in data migration between rapidly evolving software versions.

“A good ERP system
Pros
As a truly open-source solution, ERPNext has a fantastic community and I find that the cost of support is quite affordable.
Cons
There is not much to say, really. I had hoped for better support for Singapore accounting, especially regarding CPF and Payroll.

“Implementation is a challenge
Pros
Once I submit an entry, it cannot be edited or deleted, which helps ensure data integrity.

I find that implementation is challenging, and there is no proper support available for this in the system.

“Clean interface with prompt support
Pros
I find the system very easy to use, with a clean interface and forms that are clear and almost self-explanatory. Their support team replies promptly to problems and consistently sees them through to a proper resolution.
Cons
I don't have major complaints overall though I'm disappointed the HR module was split into a separate offering.

“Quick deployment with great framework
Pros
I find this tool contains all the key advantages, it can be deployed quickly, it allows connections to multiple other pieces of software and services and the framework itself is excellent and very great.
Cons
Regional versions feel harder to configure than expected and I would prefer if all country-specific services, such as electronic invoicing and banking integrations, were built directly into the system.

“Open source cost-effective customization
Pros
I'm glad this project is open-source because it helps keep our overhead costs down. Plus, we can extend the existing codebase which lets us implement various customizations so the software aligns with the specific needs we have.
Cons
Upgrading the platform becomes a challenge whenever customizations are involved and I usually expect my custom code to break after major releases.
