“Simple interface with scattered support”

Pros

Interface is really feasible and simple to use, with no unnecessary complexity. Because it's open-source, my organization saves money and I also appreciate how much flexibility there is to tailor the system to our exact needs.

Cons

Help and support resources feel scattered and I wish they were congreatated into a clearer system so I can get assistance more easily.

I'm really impressed that it's open source and has strong GitHub and community backing. Building neat, clean, user-friendly screens is feasible and there's a lot of flexibility for creating organization-specific UIs. Performance is also a major plus.

Cons

Random bugs still appear from time to time which I find frustrating and believe should be addressed to improve reliability.

the standout of this tool is that it's very affordable and offers a lot of customization options so I can tailor the software to my needs and the interfaces look clean and are easy to use.

Documentation could be stronger overall and although I notice some bugs and gaps, I see the team steadily improving the product.

Pros

For me the standout aspect of this software is its modular architecture and I really appreciate the breadth of features it offers. It includes accounting modules, sales, purchasing and other tools, making it well-suited to service companies especially those just getting started in the market. I also value that the program is open-source and completely free to use.

Cons

Many bugs still need fixing and I feel several modules remain overly basic compared with the rest of the system.

As a user, I value that it's open source, nowadays that's essential in IT. Being web-based means anyone can access it from anywhere which I really like. Even though it's relatively new, I've found it quite stable. There's also a large community, I check GitHub for activity.

Cons

Frequent release cycles sometimes feel too fast and I find the constant updates challenging when deep customizations are involved.

“Out-of-the-box customizable IT”

Pros

Okay so... I was able to use it straight away, it works out of the box. It includes pretty much everything I expect from an IT system, CRM, HR, item/inventory and manufacturing features. I can customize workflows without touching any code, build my own applications and integrate things easily into our IT. There's also a very strong, active community.

Cons

Handling taxation rules and congreatating accounts for larger companies can be tricky and I think clearer documentation with real-world implementation examples would help.

Great tool.. I can ask for new features that suit my specific requirements or needs.

POS functionality needs improvement and I also find the documentation somewhat lacking.

The tool's modules are laid out really clearly and once you know where things are it becomes easy to use, overall I'm genuinely impressed and I really love the software.

Certain features are still missing though I notice updates gradually filling those gaps over time.

“Extremely flexible engine”

Pros

An extremely flexible engine, that's my takeaway. You can map out virtually any business process without writing a single line of code. My team, who implemented this and have no programming experience whatsoever, handled the entire rollout purely through customizations. I find their Doctype approach particularly powerful and adaptable. The documentation is thorough, with plenty of videos and webinar recordings available (many on YouTube). The product also shows a very strong accounting pedigree. It supports as many user roles as you need and I think it fits both startups and large enterprises.

Cons

Native bank integrations are absent and I would like to see the CRM upgraded to compete with tools like Zoho, even though its data management is already strong.

Pros

it packs a lot of features into a single product and I really like the clean, modern UI and UX, moving between screens and creating records is feasible and quick.

Cons

Getting up to speed took significant time because the learning curve is steep and I feel the platform might have been easier to manage if its features were separated into multiple apps, I also notice the absence of a dedicated mobile application.

“Free open-source with community”

Pros

I'm really pleased that it's free and open-source and supported by a foundation and an active community. The web UI is simple to use and development is ongoing with regular, fast releases that follow semantic versioning. It's highly extensible, can connect with microservices and works as an OAuth 2.0 authorization and resource server which makes hooking devices, apps and gadgets up to my Frappe or this tool's server feasible.

Cons

Proprietary dependencies can't be included in the core product and I realize this may limit adoption for companies that require closed-source components.

Pros

the biggest advantage is how easy it is to use, compared with many products I've tried on the market, this tool feels much more user-friendly, with simpler, consistent forms that look and behave similarly across almost every module.

Cons

Data import features aren't very clear yet and I think the ecosystem would benefit from stronger documentation along with more service providers and vendors.

What I appreciate most is that it's supported by a strong community and foundation and it really is open-source, I find it simple to use, very budget-friendly and feasible to customize.

Some functionality still feels incomplete and I would like more comprehensive documentation especially for the Frappe framework that the system relies on.

As a user, I appreciate the flexibility and modern design, this app keeps getting better and I've noticed the list of features expanding quickly to include even non-traditional sectors like agriculture, education and medical practices such as hospitals, the overall scope really feels that broad.

Progress is noticeable, yet I believe the community could contribute more code to strengthen the Frappe framework and improve existing features.

Being open-source has been great, I also like the custom scripting, inventory and serial number tracking, email alerts, custom fields, reporting, sales and purchase modules, the web view and mobile application, the complete history of every transaction and the fact it's easy to set up with a growing community behind it.

Cons

Community resources feel limited and I would appreciate seeing more shared scripts and problem-solving examples similar to those on Stack Overflow.

This app is really feasible to use and comes loaded with powerful capabilities, I also love how the development team stays extremely active, because they keep releasing at least one or two new features every week.

Because it's built on the Frappe framework, I find the software very easy to customize to our needs and its clean, responsive interface makes daily use pleasant. I also rely on it for manufacturing thanks to support for multilevel BOMs and multiple production departments. There's no vendor lock-in, it's fully open-source which I appreciate for the security it offers small businesses, plus development feels community-driven and transparent.

Cons

User manuals cover mostly standard use cases and I would prefer broader guidance for real-world scenarios, in India, I also feel awareness and trust in the tool still need to grow.
