MRPeasy Use Case
Based on our analysis of the MRPeasy’s features and capabilities, we have identified several scenarios where this software is a strong fit for small to mid-sized manufacturers, distributors, and product-based businesses seeking better control over operations:
Growing Manufacturers Replacing Spreadsheets For Production And Inventory
Many expanding manufacturers reach a stage where spreadsheets can no longer keep pace with purchasing, stock movement, and production scheduling. Delays often occur when teams rely on disconnected files or manual updates across departments. MRPeasy software is well suited for these businesses because it centralizes day-to-day operations, helping leadership gain clearer visibility into inventory availability and production progress as order volumes increase.
Custom Job Shops Managing Multiple Orders With Changing Priorities
Job shops and make-to-order businesses frequently handle varying production runs, rush requests, and shifting customer deadlines. In these environments, planners need a reliable way to reorganize workloads without losing track of materials or delivery commitments. The system fits this scenario by giving operations teams a more structured way to coordinate scheduling, monitor work orders, and respond quickly when priorities change.
Assembly Businesses Needing Accurate Component Tracking
Companies that assemble finished goods from multiple purchased parts often struggle when component shortages disrupt production timelines. Even a single missing item can delay shipments and create unnecessary purchasing pressure. The platform is a practical choice for these operations because it helps teams maintain better oversight of raw materials and subassemblies while aligning stock levels with production demand.
Small Distributors Combining Inventory And Order Fulfillment
Some wholesalers and distributors outgrow basic inventory systems once order volumes rise and customer expectations become more demanding. Common challenges include inaccurate stock counts, delayed dispatches, and limited insight into open orders. The software works well in this context by connecting inventory records with order handling workflows, allowing teams to improve fulfillment consistency and reduce manual coordination.
Multi-Department Manufacturers Seeking Operational Accountability
Businesses with separate purchasing, warehouse, production, and sales teams often encounter communication gaps that slow decision-making. Managers may spend significant time gathering updates instead of acting on them. MRPeasy is particularly effective for these organizations because it gives department leads a shared operational view, making it easier to coordinate responsibilities, track progress, and keep daily workflows aligned.
Is MRPeasy Right For You?
If you are looking for a user-friendly cloud-based ERP system designed for small businesses, then MRPeasy might be the right software for you. It works well for manufacturers with complex production planning needs and distributors and wholesalers managing their inventory, making it ideally suited for companies with up to 200 employees.
The software is a trusted production and inventory management system used by over 1500 small manufacturers. Additionally, the platform is ISO 27001 certified, ensuring privacy and security of sensitive user data. Trusted by organizations like Accenture, ASSA ABLOY, Network Rail, and PolyCraft Tech, MRPeasy supports the growing needs of organizations.

“Offers great value!
Pros
Using it has been really simple and the support team has been excellent. It's affordable and packs in every feature I need for food manufacturing, including solid traceability and a flexible bill of materials management. The whole flow from customer order to purchase order to manufacturing order and then invoice and fulfillment just works smoothly. I've already told a bunch of small businesses about it. It also gives me clear visibility into cost structure and boosts production efficiency. Having tried SAP Business One's manufacturing module and NetSuite, I personally prefer MRPEasy by a long shot.
Cons
There are some missing controls, though that's not something that bothers me much as a small business owner. I wish the template design was more flexible and handling returns and credits can be a little cumbersome. You really need to tie it into QuickBooks or some other accounting package, I use MRPEasy primarily for manufacturing and traceability only. In my experience, the built-in accounting module doesn't justify the time it takes to set up or use.

“Loved it from day one!
Pros
We moved over from Inflow and are really pleased with MRP, their support is outstanding, the interface is simple to use and it includes a broad set of features that meet our needs.
Cons
I can't think of any significant drawbacks. I know the interface isn't particularly modern and there are restrictions on how many records can be uploaded but in practice those limitations are not going to matter much to us.

“customizable & surprisingly easy to use
Pros
It is very easy to use and I can pull up any information from almost anywhere in the system. Even when I only have a part name or a handful of digits from a long item number, it quickly locates exactly what I'm after and I can trace the details with just a mouse click. It's highly customisable and the AI chat bot is outstanding.
Cons
I had to get used to some of the terminology. The dashboard feels a bit generic and it's all blue. While it looks clean, I would appreciate coloured tabs or more visual distinctions
