Offers great value!

Pros

Using it has been really simple and the support team has been excellent. It's affordable and packs in every feature I need for food manufacturing, including solid traceability and a flexible bill of materials management. The whole flow from customer order to purchase order to manufacturing order and then invoice and fulfillment just works smoothly. I've already told a bunch of small businesses about it. It also gives me clear visibility into cost structure and boosts production efficiency. Having tried SAP Business One's manufacturing module and NetSuite, I personally prefer MRPEasy by a long shot.

Cons

There are some missing controls, though that's not something that bothers me much as a small business owner. I wish the template design was more flexible and handling returns and credits can be a little cumbersome. You really need to tie it into QuickBooks or some other accounting package, I use MRPEasy primarily for manufacturing and traceability only. In my experience, the built-in accounting module doesn't justify the time it takes to set up or use.

Loved it from day one!

Pros

We moved over from Inflow and are really pleased with MRP, their support is outstanding, the interface is simple to use and it includes a broad set of features that meet our needs.

Cons

I can't think of any significant drawbacks. I know the interface isn't particularly modern and there are restrictions on how many records can be uploaded but in practice those limitations are not going to matter much to us.

customizable & surprisingly easy to use

Pros

It is very easy to use and I can pull up any information from almost anywhere in the system. Even when I only have a part name or a handful of digits from a long item number, it quickly locates exactly what I'm after and I can trace the details with just a mouse click. It's highly customisable and the AI chat bot is outstanding.

Cons

I had to get used to some of the terminology. The dashboard feels a bit generic and it's all blue. While it looks clean, I would appreciate coloured tabs or more visual distinctions

Does almost everything we need

Pros

The user interface is remarkably simple and snappy and it behaves identically on desktop and the mobile app. In our experience it is extremely powerful and adaptable which has let us roll it out gradually and expand how much we rely on it over time. I can track nearly every aspect of our production workflows and confidently schedule manufacturing, purchasing and deliveries weeks or even months ahead when needed!

Cons

Because it is so flexible and offers lots of customization, I sometimes struggle to figure out the optimal or most alignd way to model our manufacturing processes inside it. It's also disappointing that it doesn't currently support creating recurring Customer, Supplier or Manufacturing Orders , having that functionality would save us a ton of time

Works but limited

Pros

the stock control system works effectively and is simple to operate. The training manuals are top-notch. It would be even more helpful if the BOM weren't required because we update stock-out as the build advances.

Cons

I ran into a cap on how many stock items I could manage in the basic plan, so I ended up upgrading. A lot of the functions don't really fit our specific workflow but we've found workarounds. Overall, it's far more flexible than it seems at first glance.

Easy to learn :)

Pros

For someone who has never used a parts or ordering system before, I've found this tool really user-friendly, it's a simple way for me to keep track of all builds, parts and inventory.

Cons

I'd love it if there were an option to automatically email the vendor the purchase order directly from the PO once it's created, so I wouldn't have to download the document and send it by hand.

Powerful but poorly designed

Pros

As far as the main features go, it gives me an almost complete solution. I can add the fields that are relevant to my business.

Cons

Honestly the UI and UX are awful. Features and modules are scattered and don't live where I'd expect them to, so important data isn't emphasized in a way that gives quick clarity. The screens are jam-packed with icons but still don't separate content clearly. To make matters worse, the installer partner they recommended botched the implementation and in the end my employer pulled me in to fix the mess they left behind.

Gets the job done well

Pros

It gives us all the essential tools we need for planning and managing production and inventory, without costing a fortune. It connects directly to our accounting software, and whenever I've needed help, their support team has been quick to respond and genuinely helpful.

Cons

I find the user interface somewhat basic and I'd really appreciate more options for how data is displayed so it fits our workflow better. Also the Zapier connection is limited right now & its capabilities could definitely use an upgrade.

real freedom to edit and print schedules

Pros

Ive found the order management feature to work well and be satisfactory, allowing me to track orders on a daily basis and also monitor productivity consistently.

Cons

Regarding inventory management, I noticed that when I release a manufacturing order the stock doesn't decrease immediately, it only gets deducted once the manufacturing order is completed which is inconvenient. For quality control, I'd like the ability to enter more fields when adding records in MRPeasy, it currently lacks sufficient input options.

easy to use

Pros

I really appreciate how easy it is to use and how quickly I learned it, it's very interactive and adding team members and getting them comfortable with the system is simple. The inventory tracking and usage reporting are reliable and simple to manage.

Cons

What frustrates me is the inability to swap materials in a subcontractor BOM/order because that makes things more complicated than they should be. I would like the system to include a feature like other MRP solutions where I can substitute materials inside an existing order instead of having to alter the BOM temporarily or write off materials that have already been consumed.

Perfect for small factories

Pros

Picked this up quickly and found it very easy to use thanks to its amazing interface. The inventory and production management tools are flexible and I feel it offers excellent value for small to mid-sized manufacturers. It's scalable so I can add modules as we grow and it syncs smoothly with Xero, QuickBooks and various e-commerce platforms. The support team has been helpful and responsive whenever I've needed them.

Cons

I don't have a lot of negatives to highlight. A couple of areas I noticed are that customization and reporting options feel a bit limited and some of the more advanced features require a learning curve that takes time for me to master.

Team-friendly but wallet-unfriendly :(

Pros

the tool is really easy and simple to operate. I picked it up quickly and found it simple to train teammates on, too.

Cons

I do think moving between the different areas of the system can be clunky and it would be much more useful if adding extra users didn't come with steep, per-user fees.

Everything in one place!!

Pros

I like that everything is centralized and it makes it easy for me to create a BOM, track costs, collaborate with teams and set the price of a pack.

Cons

I struggle with delivery notes and partial invoicing , for example if I want to invoice half of a change order, it's really hard for me to keep track and I can't clearly tell what I've already invoiced versus what remains unpaid. Also there's a flaky connection between Dropbox and the MRP in the PDF area, I suspect it's a Dropbox-related bug. Whenever I open a PDF from the MRP it launches in my web browser instead of opening in Acrobat Reader and despite trying alot of fixes and different approaches, nothing I've tried has resolved this problem.

User-friendly & syncs perfectly

Pros

It feels extremely interactive to me, offering a tidy, logical workflow that simplifies production planning. I also appreciate how it connects easily to QuickBooks Online, so I can sync our manufacturing figures with accounting data without any issue.

works for our process

Pros

Honestly I am really impressed by how feature-rich the platform is and how it helps simplify complex workflows for my team.

Cons

Maybe I'd recommend offering a lower-cost, more startup-friendly plan. If there were an option that let multiple users hop in and see firsthand how an MRP/ERP setup changes things for us without strangling cash flow at a critical stage, that would be huge. It would also be great to build tailored reports based on specific workflows. For instance, we run several different tests for customers (compound assays and the like) and I'd really want to handle those workflows inside the system. Aside from that, I honestly can't think of any drawbacks.

A challenge for small teams

Pros

For our small business the pricing is fantastic as long as we don't require more than a couple of users. It appears capable of handling everything we require and once we get a good handle on it, connecting it to our finance system should provide a major boost.

Cons

Getting started has been really difficult, understanding how to use the platform isn't interactive. We were only provided a one-hour training session and then left to figure things out on our own with the online help materials. As a small manufacturing firm that makes five products, we persevered for months trying to set everything up ourselves before deciding to bring in one of their onboarding partners, Smart Manufacturing. I supplied them with a detailed brief outlining exactly what we wanted, but after a couple of sessions it became obvious they didn't have a strong grasp of how the system actually worked. Midway through the project they cancelled, saying we would need a three-month onboarding engagement instead. For a business of our size that felt completely unreasonable. Ultimately we've had no choice but to push forward and sort it out ourselves which is what we're still doing.

too costly for a small start

Pros

It's very comprehensive, highly capable, logical, practical, simple and fast system. The help and documentation are excellent and the support team replies quickly and is very responsive.

Cons

Running a very small company, I want to handle many tasks professionally even at a modest scale but the cost is a real barrier for us. Given our current revenue, I find it hard to justify upgrading to the higher-tier plans even though several features would already be extremely helpful before we grow much further.

Cloud control for international stock

Pros

I appreciate that it's cloud-based because it gives our team a quick, simple way to manage inventory for international operations. I also like that creating invoices is fast and we can efficiently oversee stock held overseas.

Cons

For accounting, I'd like it to indicate the date when a purchase invoice was last paid because tracking that is important. Also the currency exchange feature is too rigid , we can only apply a single fixed USD to TWD rate instead of flexible rates.

Helped us grow, then slowed us

Pros

We significantly improved how we order and monitor the materials needed across multiple production sites in various locations. It also enhanced our materials forecasting for each factory by using current order data. This change meant we could accomplish more with fewer staff.

Cons

We ran into problems because the system restricts how many BOMs and routing records can be active at the same time which became a real bottleneck. Initially the allowed quantity was very large and it took us almost two years to hit the cap, however once we reached that limit it triggered numerous issues across our processes, forcing us to reorganize. As a result we had to begin performing regular clean-up and maintenance on many old, outdated BOMs to bring the totals down and keep the system functional.

Best program for the money

Pros

We've seen it make a real difference in our scheduling and inventory management. Our team uses it to coordinate products and personnel from purchasing raw materials all the way through shipping finished goods. For the price, it's the best solution I've found.

Cons

Its difficult to pull a comprehensive report for a manufacturing order. I want to compare the expected time against the actual time for each step but so far I haven't discovered a feature that lets me do that. Because of that gap, we end up building our own reports which leads to a lot of duplicated data entry.

I am genuinely impressed by how feature-rich the software is, it offers so many capabilities I didn't even realise I needed but now really want to try. It's extremely quick to use and to locate items and I love having near-complete control over basically everything in my workflows.

Cons

Setting up my inventory with the MRP tools takes me quite a long time but I think that's largely because I haven't had strong stock control in the past. Incredible customization but slow support

Pros

I love the level of customization here and I'm impressed by how neatly the modules for specific journal entries and tracking categories are arranged. Integration generally works smoothly but I wish I had clearer insight into how journal entries are assembled and what components go into creating them. Deploying the system can be tough because manufacturing processes are so complex which makes implementation challenging.

Cons

Support for partners is a real weak spot , getting assistance can be aggravating because they only handle online tickets and offer no phone support. Customizing reports is also more difficult than it should be. I'd also like to see more detailed job-cost breakdowns by project or by customer and it would be great if they added progress-billing capabilities.

Pros

the integration with Xero works well. The sales team completed a very thorough intake. Since it's built by engineers it's technically stable. The interface feels clunky but still manageable.

Cons

Transformed our production for years

Pros

For over seven years I have relied on this platform and it genuinely changed the way we manage production, inventory, and purchasing. There's a learning curve as with any software but that initial effort pays off pretty quickly. Their customer support stands out , the team actually listens to feature requests and will implement suggestions when feasible which I find genuinely refreshing. The Xero integration was smooth and uncomplicated. We used to spend countless hours in Xero handling invoices and purchases but now everything flows far more naturally through this system. The CRM is fairly basic yet it meets our needs without pushing us to buy extra, unnecessary tools elsewhere. What has been a real game-changer for our operation is the multi-level bill of materials capability. Breaking manufacturing down into assemblies and sub-assemblies while keeping tight stock control, purchase ordering and parts traceability has proved invaluable. Even though it's often marketed toward businesses with 10+ employees, I've discovered it works perfectly well for smaller teams too because it helps us track everything in a systematic way.

Cons

There's honestly nothing major that bothers me. Like any MRP system, it does require a learning curve and a commitment of time to populate enough data for it to perform at its best. From my experience, the more effort I put in on the front end , setting things up and entering accurate information , the better the outcomes and the more value we get from the tool.

Handles scheduling and tracking perfectly

Pros

I really like that it manages production scheduling while also tracking orders and inventory, keeping everything organized in a single place.

Cons

nothing major bothers me about it, but I would love the option to edit production orders directly and to add more charts and visuals into those reports.

bit awkward but good value

Pros

Getting it up and running was easy and I actually find the menu and layout quite user-friendly. I think the pricing reflects the features you receive.

Cons

The layout can feel somewhat clunky when I'm moving around, and I'd really like to see a wider variety of templates available.

Transformed our business operations

Pros

I have found MRPEasy's functionality outstanding. It has transformed our business.

Cons

Because we faced persistent problems linking our accounting system, we ultimately chose not to use it. Nevertheless, I am confident that with clear, hands-on guidance from MRPEasy's support team, this can be resolved.

It's really great for small organizations!

Pros

The software is simple, effective, and easy for me to learn, and everything is well documented.

Cons

Currently, we don't see any significant issues aside from some translation errors.

So easy to use

Pros

I value the transparent pricing and the simplicity of implementation.

Cons

We've faced very few limitations. There were only a couple of minor features we wanted to implement that we couldn't.

Good application but the user experience and integration options need improvement.

Pros

MRPeasy provides a diverse range of features that meet my various needs. Whenever I've needed assistance, the customer support team has been prompt and effective in resolving my issues. I also appreciate that MRPeasy is a cost-effective solution that maintains quality.

Cons

I think the interface is a bit difficult to use, kind of like an app from 15 years ago, which makes it frustrating to get around. For instance, actions that should take one click often require three, slowing us down. At times, the technical support hasn't been as helpful as I would have liked, leaving some issues unresolved. The lack of enough integrations makes it tough for me to connect and expand the app's features. Additionally, basic integrations like Google Drive are limited, not allowing me to choose specific save folders, which decreases our workflow's flexibility and efficiency.

Really a great tool for small organizations

Pros

The system allows me to gradually adapt, like letting me walk before I run. As a small company without an existing MRP, some of my team lacked prior experience with MRP/ERP but they found it very intuitive and easy to pick up.

Cons

The instructional videos are too fast-paced, but It's great that our users can rewatch them as often as needed.

A cost-effective and easy-to-use tool for supply chain management.

Pros

It's an excellent supply chain tool, user-friendly and offers us support at every step, whether online or through tutorials.

Cons

I've noticed that there isn't much integration with a wider variety of ERPs, which makes it tough for me to connect and streamline everything across different systems. This limitation can really impact how efficiently I can work and use the software to its full potential.

Fantastic program, but be cautious with custom orders.

Pros

It includes nearly everything required for an engineering or manufacturing company like ours.

Cons

I have seen that the starter package has a limited number of BOMs/products.
