It has a very simple layout, using it feels simple and it's easy to pick up. It can be tailored to our business and I like that specific features can be switched off until I decide to start using them. The instructions were clear and practical which let me learn at my own pace without pressure.

the production planning module and the way the system's different parts interact don't really match our manufacturing process, so we can't apply this functionality exactly how we'd like to.

the pricing is very fair and getting everything up and running was painless. What I liked most was how fast the self-serve signup is , it made trying it out far easier than with other MRP products I've explored. Because it's browser-based, it just works across all of our different devices and systems without any issue.

We're a company that manufactures from raw materials and it simply doesn't suit our workflow. When we subcontract parts for outside work, I asked my account manager how to monitor that routing and the associated costs , only to learn it's not supported yet. If your production starts from raw materials like ours, you'll likely find your processes are too involved for this system to handle.

Pros

It's simple to use and set up for smaller manufacturing setups. I also find it simple to create custom user fields that remain available across multiple modules. The import/export features make it much easier for me to connect the system into my customers workflows.

Cons

Our quality inspection capabilities felt too basic for how we run things. When I proposed a change, the team treated it as an enhancement and rolled it out in a fairly short timeframe which I appreciated. One downside was a pricelist feature that got enabled because a customer asked for it, yet it ultimately wasn't put into use. Even after removing all related master records, I couldn't disable that feature. If multiple clients need it, this area clearly needs more attention and refinement.

the product is incredibly easy to use and our team really appreciates the complete audit trail for BOM and routing changes. Because of that level of record-keeping we were able to secure ISO and organic certifications and auditors seem very satisfied with the amount of detail and the traceability provided. This makes it simple for us to follow a shipment back to the original raw materials.

Cons

We run production across several small sites and frequently produce many small batches. For example, when I purchase 55 pounds of beeswax I end up allocating it across different locations which has made tracking a real challenge. I suspect the difficulty comes from my struggle to grasp the way sites and storage locations are modeled and the best practices for managing them. Probably I set things up incorrectly at the start and I'm still working through the right approach.

the software is refreshingly simple and very easy to use. I also rely on the excellent help feature and the training videos are genuinely useful.

I've noticed production planning for custom products isn't as effective as it could be. It would be helpful if bulk editing were available in more places than just Items and Stock lots. Exporting CSVs is frustrating too, the columns in the file don't match the view I selected and there's no way to choose the decimal separator.

What impressed me was how quickly I could get everything up and running thanks to such an interactive interface. Before MRPEasy I had relied on Excel for a long time, so I had a heap of spreadsheet data , bringing that into MRPEasy was actually enjoyable. I also appreciated the custom fields MRPEasy offers since they let me transfer those critical data sets that aren't supported out of the box.

I wouldn't say this reflects poorly on the platform itself but looking back I realize I should have spent more time working through the startup guides. It would be really helpful if the team expanded those onboarding materials and provided more detailed guidance to help customers get the best results during the initial setup.

Its extremely easy to set up. Our earlier inventory and order management relied on Excel, so every piece of information was already formatted in tables that could be imported.

Cons

We did have to change some of our workflows and mindsets to align with how the software operates, rather than running our familiar routines. Still, I suppose that's to be expected whenever you move from the freeform flexibility of Excel into structured MRP software.

Pros

Using it has made managing our inventory much easier, giving us clearer insight into which items are critical to have on hand and letting us take preventive steps if a component becomes backordered. I've found myself spending far less time on inventory chores and more time actually exploring improvements to our workflows as the company grows larger.

Cons

There is a learning curve to finding the right menus for deleting or adding components, so it takes time before I feel confident in those operations however, once I'm comfortable with the interface it turns into a genuinely useful system. It would also be great if, when creating a manufacturing order, I could attach additional BOMs to the same MO instead of needing to build a new composite BOM that combines several separate BOMs.

I like that it becomes fairly simple to customize the views once you've learned the process and after a bit of practice I can adjust layouts quickly. The range of configurable options is also noticeably better than what I've seen in several other programs which I find very useful.

Cons

Sometimes I find it confusing to locate certain settings because the structure doesn't always make sense to me, putting some options under 'Enterprise' and others under 'Professional' feels inconsistent. That layout choice often makes it difficult for me to quickly find what I'm looking for, which is frustrating.

One thing I appreciate is that it shows the material demand coming from production planning.

I feel it should include the ability to create an invoice directly from the 'sent items' list.

Using this platform has multiplied my productivity in a noticeable way. It has simplified our procurement and manufacturing workflows so well that I'm able to allocate far more time to product innovation and driving sales efforts.

The user interface occasionally feels a little awkward and I've come across small bugs when the system is under heavy load. Although it meets most of our requirements, those intermittent glitches sometimes disrupt our processes and slow things down. Also, the reporting tools work, but they lack the depth I need for thorough, complex analyses and could benefit from more detailed customization and insight options.

Everything it offers. Thanks to this program I've been able to set up my parts, subassemblies, where they come from and the way I handle manufacturing exactly how I wanted. Honestly I don't think I could have kept this level of organization without it.

There are a couple of things I wish it did better: first, I would love the option for one-on-one training. They respond quickly and are great when I reach out, but having the ability to book a tailored training session that focused on our company's specific workflows would have been really helpful. Because of that I ended up teaching myself quite a bit from their online videos and then I became the one who trained everyone else in our team. Second, I want a single view that shows every subassembly and part for a full build. With my nested assemblies I can only open a single item's bill of materials at a time, there's no consolidated tree that displays the complete structure after I finish manufacturing a final product and having that would make things so much easier.

Personally, I rely on this app because the inventory figures it shows are exceptionally accurate and updated in real time which I really value.

Navigation trips me up in a few places, I end up drilling through way too many sub-menus just to reach a simple function and there aren't any convenient shortcuts to skip the repetitive clicking which gets pretty frustrating.

We were able to switch between different languages with a single click which made the whole migration incredibly smooth and easy. The support team has been amazing & they're always on hand and reply extremely quickly whenever we reach out for assistance.

What really catches my attention are tools like the drag-and-drop scheduler that makes assigning resources far simpler and the CRM piece that keeps all my customer information neatly in one spot. There are also a bunch of other practical features built in that smooth out my day-to-day operations.

Although the software is definitely usable, I find there are a few minor features missing that would significantly improve the overall experience. For example, being able to edit or correct past activities, having a dedicated numbering sequence for credit notes and the option to automatically email everyone involved in an approval workflow would all make a noticeable difference.
