There's definitely a learning curve especially for new users and getting around the system can feel complicated at first. Some features also aren't as user friendly as I expected.

Having everything in one cloud based ERP system makes a big difference with it. It brings financials, accounting, inventory order management and reporting together in a single place which helps keep data centralized and operations more connected. The automation features cut down on manual tasks and give better visibility across the business. Its reporting tools and customization options are also valuable when trying to support different operational needs and business requirements.

Cons

Getting comfortable with it can take time especially when dealing with advanced configurations, workflows and reporting. Certain customizations may need technical knowledge and some parts of the system can feel a bit complicated to navigate when you're still new to the platform.

Between the flexible reporting, saved searches and dashboard, day to day accounting work seems much more organized and efficient.

Some of the more advanced report customizations still need technical know how or help from an administrator and that can take quite a bit of time.

It does a really good job with our inventory management, payroll and financial reporting. The system is easy to use and the interface is user friendly which makes day to day work much easier.

Having so much financial and operational capability in one system is a big plus. It gives good visibility across the business, handles more complex workflows well and helps cut down on juggling data between separate disconnected tools. The reporting is especially valuable and having one central source of truth makes day to day work much more useful.

Usability is where it struggles most. The interface seems outdated and not very user friendly and even fairly basic tasks can take more steps than they should. Setup and customization are also quite involved and often need specialist expertise. That makes user adoption more difficult and reduces the platform's value for people who only log in from time to time.

Adding new users, locations or modules doesn't require much IT work which makes scaling up very convenient. The platform keeps getting updated and regularly brings in new features. It also helps spot bottlenecks and even suggests orders when needed. Another big advantage is that all customer information lives in one place, with everything documented from the first inquiry through to the final order. On top of that it runs in the cloud so there's no need for any local installation.

Cons

During the testing phase we didn't come across any major weaknesses or real negative points. The software was stable and worked reliably throughout. The only issue worth mentioning is that very small bugs do appear from time to time and those should still be fixed.

One thing that stays reliable is how consistent it is and there are plenty of customization options available. It gives you a lot of flexibility to adjust the system and shape the way you use it around your specific needs.

At times though it runs into errors that don't have a quick or obvious fix. When that happens, you can end up stuck in frustrating loops where restarting the system is the only way to move forward.

Well the company seems to be moving in the right direction with its overall vision. A lot of processes can be optimized through workflows, scripts and extensions. It's also possible to grow the business model further into marketplaces and brick-and-mortar retail.

It has been very user friendly in my experience and it's easy to train other team members on. I have gone through three separate NetSuite implementations across three different organizations and it has worked well each time.

Customer support can be inconsistent at times. If you need more in-depth help, you usually have to pay extra for it as otherwise, you're limited to working through the ticketing system.
