“Promising AI for sure”

Pros

It's been exciting to see the platform keep adding new capabilities and the upcoming AI features look especially promising. There's a lot of potential there and it makes the product feel like it's continuing to move in a really strong direction.

Cons

To me its interface still seems a little confusing at times and the licensing costs are high if you want to expand it across the wider business.

“feature rich tool for daily operations”

Pros

There's a lot of useful information built in and the newer features have been a really nice addition. The product is easy to use and our company relies on it for manufacturing, wholesaling and day to day operations. Overall it has worked really well for keeping the business running efficiently.

Cons

At times the system can be a bit slow. We occasionally run into delays when pages or tasks are loading especially while creating orders, opening records and similar actions.

“easy customization options!”

Pros

The software is very flexible when it comes to customization and connecting with other products. Even for end users who don't have an accounting background, it's fairly simple to learn and use.

Cons

Search results can take a while to load. The menu setup can also be a bit confusing especially since the options change depending on each user role.

“Innovative AI that cuts manual work”

Pros

Its innovative AI capabilities are the biggest highlight to me especially because they can significantly cut down the amount of manual work involved across the business.

Cons

I am not currently using the system but based on what I heard today, it offers multiple Andon modules which could make choosing the right ones for the business a bit challenging.

“Powerful cloud based tool”

Pros

NetSuite ERP delivers a powerful cloud based system with strong financial reporting, real time visibility into data and plenty of flexibility when it comes to customization.

Cons

Getting comfortable with it takes time because the learning curve is pretty steep and the interface isn't very user friendly. It can also feel slow at times while customization and reporting often need technical know-how and the quality of support responses can be hit or miss.

“Highly customizable for complex business needs”

Pros

It's incredibly customizable and can be adapted to fit very specific business requirements. I still haven't run into a situation where I couldn't put together a workaround or solution to accomplish a particular goal.

Cons

On the CRM side it falls short when it comes to marketing features so you end up needing separate tools for things like email campaigns and social media posting. That also means extra integration work if you want it to stay your single source of truth.

“packed with helpful resources”

Pros

The tool gives a lot of flexibility and is simple to customize to fit different needs. The Learning Pass includes plenty of useful content and SuiteAnswers is also packed with helpful information.

Cons

Troubleshooting performance problems can be difficult once all the customization is in place especially when the issues seem related to server performance.

“top features available!”

Pros

NetSuite ERP opens up a lot of possibilities across different areas of the business and the self-service features are a real plus. There's a lot you can do with it once you get into the system although it definitely comes with a steep learning curve.

Cons

The dashboarding side is one of the tougher parts to work with. Even setting up basic charts and visuals can be surprisingly difficult and the limits around space and formatting make it more frustrating. In many cases, getting professional support feels necessary.

“Easy to use software”

Pros

The product is very user friendly overall. Even though the demos didn't work during today's presentation, the use case scenarios still came across clearly and made it easy to understand how it would be used.

Cons

There were some issues with the presentation and I would have liked a better explanation of the product's benefits beyond just the time saving aspect.

“Flexible reporting that adapts well”

Pros

Every transaction lets us capture a lot of useful data which makes the system very adaptable to the way we work. It's customizable enough to fit our needs and once the information is in there, pulling reports from that data is very easy too.

Cons

One challenge has been getting a full grasp of everything the system can do with such a small finance team. There are a lot of features built in so finding the right information and understanding the full functionality can get pretty complex.

“all in one visibility and better control”

Pros

Having finance, inventory, procurement and reporting all connected in one platform has been the biggest benefit for me. Rather than juggling separate systems, it gives the business a single source of truth which helps improve both accuracy and overall efficiency. The real time reports and dashboards are especially useful because they make decision making faster and give much better visibility across different areas of the company. The cloud based access is another strong plus since it lets teams work more flexibly without losing control or transparency. Overall it does a really good job of organizing operations, improving financial oversight and supporting growth in a practical, user friendly way.

Cons

Some workflows can feel a bit complex and not always user friendly particularly for new users getting started. On top of that certain customizations and reports can take extra time to set up or may require technical support.

“simple management across multiple businesses”

Pros

Managing multiple businesses in it is pretty easy and the system seems user friendly to work with. With the newer AI capabilities, automating tasks through scripting has also become much more convenient.

Cons

There are quite a few add-on products and the costs can stack up over time. On top of that many of the native features are heavily geared toward the US market which can make things more challenging.

“pretty flexible add-ons”

Pros

It is user friendly and comes with plenty of add-ons so it can be customized to fit different needs. Also it gives smaller organizations access to the kind of functionality you'd normally expect from much larger businesses.

Cons

A downside is that some basic features still feel unfinished and getting them fully completed seems to depend on community votes through SuiteAnswers.

“Unified dashboards with helpful automation”

Pros

Having everything in one connected platform is the biggest advantage for me. Financials, CRM, inventory and reporting all work together in real time which makes day to day operations much more efficient and cuts down a lot of manual effort. The dashboards are clear and can be customised so keeping an eye on performance and making fast, informed decisions is much simpler. I also really value that it's cloud based since teams can work together from anywhere without dealing with complicated infrastructure. The automation tools save a lot of time on repetitive tasks and help improve both accuracy and productivity. Overall it's a powerful, user friendly system that supports business growth while making daily management easier.

Cons

Getting started with it can seem quite overwhelming especially for people who are new to ERP systems. There's definitely a steep learning curve and proper training is usually needed before you can really use it well. Although the customisation options are strong, they can also become expensive and take a lot of time when the business has very specific requirements. On top of that some reports and workflows aren't very easy to configure which can slow things down during daily use. I have also noticed that performance can lag from time to time when working with large datasets. Overall it's a good platform but the usability challenges and implementation effort can be tough for smaller teams.

“Flexible consolidation with slow reporting”

Pros

The customization and adaptability are a big plus. OneWorld works really well for consolidation along with managing subsidiaries and multiple currencies.

Cons

Report loading can be slow and intercompany eliminations also take longer than they should. Building reports based on fields becomes difficult when multiple fields are involved.

“Strong workflows but weak dashboards”

Pros

It workflows work really well and report development has been very effective. That part has been a real plus.

Cons

Getting a clear handle on everything we own and how to use it has been difficult. The dashboard tools also haven't been very effective and even bringing in education to help didn't end up being useful.

“Reliable integrations, plus easy collaboration”

Pros

The tool works really well when it comes to integrating and collaborating with other software like employee reimbursement tools for example. The syncing is very reliable and easy which makes the whole process much easier to manage.

Cons

At times saved searches can be difficult to edit so it ends up being necessary to create new ones instead. Even so that can also help give a better understanding of how the process works.

“Custom reports but annoying bank feeds”

Pros

Its interface is easy to work with and the system seems interactive and flexible thanks to its customization options. Saved searches are really helpful and the saved CSV feature is a nice time-saver. I also like that reports can be tailored to what I need and the analytics tools do a good job.

Cons

There are still too many bugs and the platform can be slow at times. The bank import feature fails repeatedly especially when import codes are involved which becomes frustrating quickly. Bank feeds for Amex transactions have also been unreliable.

“navigation is not easy”

Pros

I would say it works well as an ERP for small to mid sized businesses. It's flexible, fairly easy to understand and the saved searches can be built out pretty quickly to help answer all kinds of business questions.

Cons

Coming from SAP the gaps are pretty noticeable. Access and role management feel weak and I don't see much of an internal control framework around permissions. The interface is difficult to navigate too as there are plenty of dropdown menus, yet it still takes too much effort to find what I am looking for. Reporting feels basic and the dashboards and business analytics tools available to us are limited in both capability and usability. Another frustration is how some modules are developed by outside partners instead of being part of one native, unified solution. We recently looked into the scheduling tool in advanced manufacturing and it was poor enough that the recommendation was to find a third-party alternative. Relying on external partners also means managing relationships with several vendors and the service quality can differ from one to another.
