“simplifies data control”
Pros
Handling data in it has been really positive for us especially with how manageable it is to work with both simple and more complex information coming in. The ACS team has also been very helpful whenever needed. On top of that the system is user friendly and report generation is simple which makes day to day work much more efficient.
Cons
The biggest frustration is with desk support. Getting help feels unnecessarily complicated and SuiteAnswers rarely gives me the information I am actually looking for when I need assistance.

“Powerful automation with strong reporting”
Pros
Customizing it is easy, the interface is user friendly and the automation features are really strong. Real time reporting is a big plus and the reporting system scales well as needs grow.
Cons
A few transactions are not very user friendly and the extra training can get expensive. Support can take a while to respond and customization between certain transactions is somewhat limited.

“easier month-end close now”
Pros
The accounts payable workflow is much more convenient now. It has genuinely organized our internal processes and made end of month work a lot easier to manage.
Cons
Reporting has been the toughest part. The dashboards are hard to work with because they aren't very clear or user friendly.

“Efficient data access from anywhere”
Pros
Working in it is not a hassle and managing data has become much more efficient. One of the biggest benefits is being able to log in and get work done from anywhere in the world.
Cons
The biggest concern is the value for money. Licensing is expensive and it has added a significant cost to the business.

“all in one boost for our team”
Pros
Running our small team has become much more efficient since this platform automated all of our core processes. It works as both a CRM and an ERP for us which makes it a really strong fit for a small business like mine.
Cons
Honestly I don't have any complaints. We're still exploring everything this single platform offers and we have been enjoying how much depth it provides.

“provide clear guidance”
Pros
Whenever I log a case the customer support team gets back to me quickly. Their responses are consistently clear, useful and helpful which makes issues much easier to deal with.
Cons
A downside is that many of the newer features don't apply to my 8 year old NetSuite system. On top of that quite a few of the features announced at SuiteWorld either aren't available in Australia yet or take a long time to roll out here.

“overall reliable system”
Pros
The online training and webinar options available through LCS are really beneficial and the system itself has very few bugs or issues.
Cons
Its extra add-on charges are frustrating. Something may look useful at first but then there's another fee attached to it. We would use the program much more if adding features wasn't so expensive.

“Powerful features with good flexibility”
Pros
Its wide range of features and the level of customization have been a big plus for us. It's been valuable not just on the financial side but also for inventory management and other areas of the business.
Cons
At times the navigation seems a bit difficult when you're first getting started and some team members have had a harder time learning how to use it.

“Custom reports are a big plus”
Pros
During the event we attended one feature that really stood out was being able to add formulas to financial reports. We were shown how to include the debt ratio directly on the balance sheet and that kind of customization makes the reporting much more useful.
Cons
Saving frequently used reports or saved searches to Favorites is definitely helpful. It would be even better though if there were a way to sort report names so finding the right report would be quicker.

“Anywhere access with simple workflow”
Pros
Being cloud based is what I like most since I can get to the platform from anywhere at any time and it's also very easy to use.
Cons
Lately we have occasionally run into slow page load times and that has started to affect productivity.

“Worth every penny for our needs”
Pros
The interface is user friendly and easy to work with, while the overall quality and performance are excellent which makes the investment seem completely worthwhile.
Cons
There are some integration problems, report generation can be slow and the built-in reports are not especially helpful or detailed.

“Customization that really delivers”
Pros
Its customization options have been a huge plus for us. They've made a real difference for our Merchandise department especially when dealing with all the complexity that comes with it.
Cons
One downside is that some of the add-ons can get pretty expensive. We were interested in the month-end reconciliation add-on but the pricing has made us hesitate.

“Flexible, plus endlessly customizable”
Pros
One of the best parts is how much you can shape and customize it to fit the way your business actually works. It doesn't feel like a fixed system at all since you can keep building on it, refining it and improving it over time as your needs change.
Cons
Right out of the box we felt it needed quite a bit of work before the real value started to show. It really helps to have a strong implementation partner who can get the system to a good starting point for your business. After that though once you begin unlocking the benefits, they tend to come through pretty quickly.

“perfect fit for mid sized finance teams”
Pros
It has provided very valuable products that meet the financial system needs of a medium sized company well.
Cons
Once the fixed-term contract ended, the subscription cost began increasing and there was very little room for negotiation.

“Complete ERP platform”
Pros
A complete ERP platform with a lot of flexibility. It can handle financials, operations and forecasting all in one system which makes it very capable for companies that want everything in a single place.
Cons
The downside is the implementation can take a long time and become expensive. On top of that many features come with extra fees or separate licensing which makes it difficult to fully evaluate the total cost upfront.

“platform is very valuable”
Pros
Having live data available along with strong security, fast performance and decent reporting tools makes this platform really valuable. Also it is reassuring to see the product constantly improving and clearly aiming to stay ahead as a market leader.
Cons
The biggest frustration is the wait and uncertainty around popular user-requested improvements. It's also a downside that you need an external implementation partner to get everything set up properly.

“Responsive support offer direct help”
Pros
The support has been consistently excellent and it's been really helpful to have ongoing assistance. Having an account manager we can reach out to directly makes a big difference and saves time when we need something.
Cons
At times the add-ons feel a bit too expensive but the standard package works well for our needs so it hasn't really caused any problems.

“customizable with centralized control”
Pros
Having financials, jobs and operational data all managed in one centralized system is a huge advantage. The flexibility to customize records, saved searches and workflows makes the platform incredibly powerful and lets it be shaped around the way the business actually works.
Cons
Some parts of the system can feel more complex or less user friendly than they should especially when moving through records or setting up scripts and workflows. There are also cases where fairly simple outcomes still need technical knowledge or scripting to get them done.

“cloud integrations and development win”
Pros
A cloud based platform with decent integrations across partner products, plus ongoing development that keeps bringing new products and capabilities.
Cons
Performance can be slow because of the system's complexity and scripting along with other services sometimes creates issues for users. I am looking forward to seeing the performance monitor in action.

“beneficial tool”
Pros
As both a developer and an administrator working with it, the biggest advantage for me is the unified data model and the strength of the SuiteCloud platform. Instead of dealing with disconnected systems, everything sits in one reliable source of truth which makes managing data across accounting, CRM and inventory much simpler. SuiteScript being JavaScript based is especially valuable because it gives a lot of flexibility for deep business logic customization and workflow automation. The Schema Browser along with SuiteTalk REST and SOAP APIs also makes third-party integrations very simple. On top of that being able to build custom records and fields without heavy database administration helps the platform grow naturally as business needs change.
Cons
One of the harder parts is the steep learning curve along with occasional UI slowdowns during busy periods. On the admin side, SuiteScript governance limits can feel restrictive at times so handling large data volumes often requires careful optimization to avoid execution caps. The twice-yearly releases do add useful new functionality but they also create extra work because everything has to be thoroughly regression tested in the Sandbox to make sure custom scripts and workflows still run properly. Beyond that, the added cost of extra modules and the premium pricing for Sandbox environments can be a real obstacle for mid sized companies trying to scale further.
