“Connected workflows and full visibility”
Pros
Having everything tied together in one system is probably the biggest advantage. Financials, inventory orders and customer data can all be handled in one place instead of switching between separate tools which makes day to day processes more efficient and dependable. The platform is also very flexible, with the ability to customize fields, workflows and reports around actual business requirements. Real time data is another major benefit especially when you need to make decisions quickly or investigate problems. On the integration side, using tools like Celigo adds even more value. Overall it helps save time, cuts down on manual effort and gives much better visibility across the whole business.
Cons
One downside is that the system can be pretty complex and not especially user friendly particularly for new users. Even simple tasks can take several steps and the interface seems a bit dated compared with newer platforms. Although customization is a strong feature, it often requires technical expertise or help from a developer which can slow progress. Reporting can be frustrating too since saved searches do not always return exactly what is needed without a lot of adjustments. Performance is also uneven at times especially when dealing with large data loads. In the end it is a powerful platform but it definitely comes with a learning curve and some occasional frustration.

“Promising AI and faster close”
Pros
The exception management feature and 0-day close capability are big wins and the MCP connector to Claude along with the AI prompt generator look like really useful additions. These new features seem promising and I am hoping they get released soon.
Cons
Budget uploads in the system take quite a bit more time than they do in NSPB. For FP&A work, it would be much better to have a simpler way to load budgets and access AI-powered dashboards in it that compare actuals against budget data directly.

“Flexible customization with unified data”
Pros
One of the best parts is how flexible the customization options are. With enough development time and resources, you can make just about anything work. Also I like having unified data management since it keeps information in one place and makes things easier to manage across the business.
Cons
At times the system can feel slow and updates or newer industry-standard features do not always arrive as quickly as I would expect. Another downside is that many customizations still require a significant amount of development work to implement.

“Well designed interface but frustrating support”
Pros
The user experience seems very well designed and the way information is presented is clear and comprehensive. Really nothing to complain about there.
Cons
Getting help from the higher-level technical support teams is a very frustrating process especially when technical partners are involved.

“provide complete control and clear visibility”
Pros
Having everything in one system keeps my work much more organized and efficient. I can handle financials, reporting and transactions in real time which helps me stay accurate and current. The option to customize reports and dashboards also makes performance tracking clearer and supports better decision-making. Another big plus is how it organizes tasks like reconciliations and period-end close.
Cons
Navigation can be challenging and it's not the most user friendly platform especially when someone is new to it. Even simple tasks can take more time than expected and locating the right functions can be frustrating.

“Powerful platform with growing ecosystem”
Pros
It has been a really strong product for us and the ecosystem around it keeps getting better. I have especially appreciated the AI updates along with the wide range of partners that can tailor solutions to fit our specific requirements.
Cons
The biggest downside is the cost and the lack of pricing transparency. It can be complicated to fully understand how everything is priced and having to renew for the entire year makes it feel expensive and harder to manage.

“Custom workflows with all in one value”
Pros
Having everything in one place for running the business is a big advantage with this ERP. It's also highly customizable especially with scripting and workflows which makes it flexible for different business needs.
Cons
One downside is the performance especially when handling large volumes of data. It tends to get slow and the sandbox environment is particularly affected.

“Trusted data and role-based control”
Pros
The data is reliable which gives us a lot of confidence in the system. It also lets us customize access by role so each employee only sees what they're supposed to see.
Cons

“speed is a little slow”
Pros
It looks like we're setting the business up well for the future. Knowing we have only begun to tap into everything the system is capable of is really encouraging.
Cons
The biggest downside is the speed. It would be much better if it ran faster since it can get pretty sluggish at times especially in the mornings and right after lunch.

“Promising AI for accounting close”
Pros
The new AI capabilities for accounting close and reconciliations looked really impressive. It was a very positive preview and I am excited to see it moving in that direction.
Cons
One thing that still wasn't clear was how to actually turn those features on. I am also looking forward to seeing automation added for back imports because that would make it even more exciting.

“Powerful integrations with good flexibility”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is how well it integrates with other systems like CRM and AP. Also it gives us plenty of flexibility to add extra tools when we need more advanced functionality such as apps for bank reconciliations and other deeper features.
Cons
Navigation throughout the system could definitely be quicker. It also really needs a more user friendly interface for customizing reports and saved searches.

“simple to use tool”
Pros
The system is easy to use and the records are laid out in a logical way that makes day to day work easier. Also it is highly customizable with workflows and SuiteScript which gives a lot of flexibility. Ad-hoc reporting with saved searches works well too.
Cons
Accessibility is a weak point especially for vision-impaired users. Reporting directly from the system could be better and the reports themselves are not very easy to create.

“unified platform with deep customization”
Pros
Its biggest advantage is the unified database which gives you one reliable source of truth across finance, CRM and inventory. That cuts out data silos and a lot of manual reconciliation work which can significantly speed up the financial close process. Scalability is another big plus especially with OneWorld handling multiple subsidiaries, currencies and global tax requirements without much friction as the business expands. Since it's cloud-native, teams get real time visibility from anywhere without having to manage servers. On top of that the customization is deep so businesses can create complex automated workflows with SuiteFlow that actually match how they operate instead of being boxed into a one-size-fits-all system.
Cons
The most common complaint is the high and often unpredictable cost especially when contract renewals come with aggressive price increases. The learning curve is also pretty steep and the interface looks outdated enough that it takes substantial training to use effectively. Implementation regularly gets labeled a money pit because it's long, complicated and often depends on costly outside consultants. From a technical standpoint, users mention performance slowdowns when multiple scripts are running and the reporting tools can feel confusing and hard for non-technical staff to work with. Customer support also gets criticized for taking too long to resolve bugs which can leave businesses in a tough spot during important periods.

“a little hard to use”
Pros
I like having everything in one unified platform. The added use of AI and task lists feels more integrated now and it looks like it will make monitoring and managing the overall process much simpler.
Cons
Fixed asset reporting is not very useful and is hard to navigate. On top of that the validation in the upload templates is not user friendly so it often takes several rounds to troubleshoot and figure out what needs to be fixed.

“Powerful all in one platform”
Pros
Having all our business data in one system is a big advantage. It comes with a wide range of Suite apps, seems secure against external attacks and offers a high level of customization to fit different business needs.
Cons
At times the system can be incredibly slow. Field names and IDs are not always consistent across areas like Saved Searches, forms and SuiteScript which gets frustrating. Error handling also isn't very helpful in some cases so that's definitely an area that could be improved.

“Scalable AI-powered platform”
Pros
The upcoming AI driven features look really impressive. It also scales well without needing to bring on more staff which helps keep overall staffing costs lower.
Cons
Honestly I am happy with almost everything about it. The open source code is a big plus because it allows the platform to evolve quickly and since there's really no lease involved, I was able to simply add another best.

“Easy to use but hard to customize”
Pros
After 9 years of using it, it still seems easy to navigate and learn. It's user friendly overall even for people who are completely new to the system.
Cons
Even though the platform is simple to use and get around, it has been difficult to find a team that can customize it properly or help us get the most out of its full potential.

“One reliable source for reporting”
Pros
Having everything in one system gives us a single source of truth and the reporting is flexible enough to cover a lot of different needs. There are also plenty of extra fields available and adding them is easy when we need more detail.
Cons
Performance can lag when running larger reports. That slowdown becomes much more noticeable when trying to pull data across the entire organization.

“amaizng customization options for daily operations”
Pros
SuiteScript and workflows make a big difference here. They let us automate complex billing, integrate it with external systems and shape processes around the specific needs of our cybersecurity operations.
Cons
One thing to keep in mind is how much it depends on customization. A lot of operational needs end up requiring SuiteScript development or custom workflows which adds maintenance overhead and creates more reliance on technical resources.

“strong value for price”
Pros
The tool has been a really powerful system for us and seems like excellent value for the money. After using it for the past two years I can say it's a smart platform with a well thought out design.
Cons
A few of the default settings seem to depend heavily on the user's experience level so it definitely takes good training and some time to learn properly. The level of investment required was also more than we originally expected.
