“its a powerhouse”

Pros

Working in it every day, I like it more and more. It's a highly flexible and dependable system and there's a lot you can accomplish with it.

Cons

I noticed that getting it configured the right way can be challenging since it takes plenty of customization and decent expertise but once everything is set up properly, the software delivers the results.

“Powerful all in one visibility”

Pros

Having everything tied together in one system is a huge advantage with it. It brings multiple business processes into a single source of truth and the overall toolset is remarkably comprehensive. The data management capabilities run deep and being able to tailor dashboards for real time visibility makes day to day oversight much more effective. It really shines when it comes to automating complex workflows which helps operations run more efficiently as the organization grows.

Cons

Getting started can be challenging because the platform does so much so the learning curve is fairly steep for new users. On top of that even though the system offers a lot of flexibility, setting up certain advanced configurations can take quite a bit of time and may call for specialized technical knowledge.

“great fit for growing teams”

Pros

The too is easy to use and integrating it with a few other platforms has been fairly simple as well. It suits a company of our size really well, with around 70 employees and handles what we need without feeling too much or too little.

Cons

It does need a number of customizations before it fully works the way my company needs it to. On top of that the pricing for the different modules can be a bit confusing to figure out.

“Ahead on AI and support”

Pros

It seems ahead of a lot of other accounting platforms especially with the way it's already thinking about AI. Their client support has also been excellent. Anytime we hit an issue, the wider team, including delivery, ACE, project managers and others, really steps in and advocates for us.

Cons

The downside is that many of the add-ons come at an extra cost. Not every solution is included in the core package so the total price can climb pretty quickly.

“Powerful tools for daily work”

Pros

Using this system day to day has been really positive. It's user friendly and comes with plenty of tools that make managing daily tasks much more convenient.

Cons

Getting access to the full functionality can be pretty expensive. At times it's also a little hard to figure out how certain things work.

“All data in one place”

Pros

Everything is available in one platform so having all the data gathered in a single place makes work much more convenient. It's also customizable which helps create a more user friendly interface.

Cons

The paid modules can be a downside. On top of that integrating it with other LLMs besides Claude or ChatGPT is difficult.

“Powerful cloud visibility”

Pros

Having it brings all the essential parts of the business together in one cloud based platform which is what I value most. Instead of juggling separate systems for accounting, inventory and customer management, everything works in one integrated place, helping improve efficiency and cut down on mistakes. The real time reporting is particularly useful because it gives accurate data quickly, making it easier for businesses to make informed decisions without delay. Another big advantage is how customizable the system is since dashboards and workflows can be adjusted to match specific business needs. Its scalability also stands out because it can grow alongside the company without forcing a switch to another system. Overall it makes day to day operations simpler, increases visibility across the organization and helps teams work in a more effective and confident way.

Cons

It does have a downside in that it can feel pretty complex and intimidating at first especially for new users. The interface is not always the most user friendly so getting comfortable with the system usually takes time, training and patience. While the customization options are powerful, they can also require technical knowledge or outside assistance which may add to the overall cost. The implementation process is another challenge since it can be long and demand a lot of resources, particularly for businesses that do not have dedicated IT support. On top of that some tasks involve more steps than you might expect which can slow productivity. The licensing fees and ongoing maintenance costs can also be quite high, making it less practical for smaller businesses or startups working with tighter budgets.

“SaaS value with strong ecosystem”

Pros

NetSuite works really well for us as a SaaS solution because we don't have to deal with hosting or the usual infrastructure headaches. That alone saves us from needing extra support staff so it ends up being very good value for the money. On top of that there are hundreds of partners and apps available which makes it much easier to find help and tools for almost any NetSuite need.

Cons

Nothing is perfect but with this one it's genuinely difficult to point to major negatives. The only real caution is that your setup can become overly complicated if you're not careful. Even then, that risk is fairly minor when you have a good partner guiding the implementation.

“Easy tools and strong billing”

Pros

The system is simple and user friendly. Also it offers some really good features especially the SuiteBilling module and the advanced revenue recognition functionality.

Cons

At times the system can be a bit slow. It's also frustrating that some features you would expect to be standard can take quite a while to get implemented.

“Feature rich time saver”

Pros

Having everything in one system has been incredibly helpful and the broad set of features makes a real difference. It keeps our day to day workflows more organized, improves the accuracy of our data management and saves the team a lot of time that used to go into manual processing.

Cons

No cons to share as everything about it is good.

“highly customizable tool”

Pros

It is highly customizable while still being easy to use. The search tools and reporting features are genuinely helpful and the user permissions and controls are especially reliable.

Cons

There are still some process limitations and expanding or evolving the system can get expensive. The interface also has room for improvement if the goal is to encourage better user adoption.

“Powerful automation and scalability”

Pros

I find it easy to use and the customization options are one of its biggest strengths. Setting up automation is simple and the platform scales really well as needs grow. On the finance side, almost every process can be automated which saves a lot of time.

Cons

The biggest downside is the cost. It would also be better if there were more AI support in customization and development. Managing three separate instances is another challenge and adds extra complexity.

“gaps in finance”

Pros

The tool keeps getting regular updates and the consistency across the system makes it seem familiar no matter where you are working. It's easy to use and the closing and consolidation process is especially convenient.

Cons

It still lacks stock ageing and the auto cash allocation feature does not take credit notes into account. The reservation system also doesn't work as well as it should and there is still no automatic account clearing.

“All in one access anywhere”

Pros

Having accounting, CRM, inventory and reporting all in one system cuts down a lot on switching between different tools. Being able to log in from anywhere is also a big plus and makes it much more convenient to use.

Cons

Building reports can be pretty challenging and usually takes longer than expected. The interface also feels a bit slow and not as modern as some newer SaaS platforms and getting around the system sometimes requires more clicks than it really should.

“Multi currency savings, update headaches”

Pros

Consolidating all of our companies across multiple currencies can be done quickly and that has saved us a substantial amount of time. The vendor and customer dashboards also make it fast to pull up the key information we need at a glance.

Cons

On the downside, the Fixed Asset module feels slow and awkward to use and it's missing some reports that auditors would normally expect to see. Some broader system updates also seem like they weren't fully tested which has led to problems with bank feeds and VAT reporting over the past 18 months and those issues have taken a lot of time to sort out.

Pros

Everything is very flexible and the system is easy to use which makes it simple for a new user to learn quickly and become comfortable with it.

Cons

At this point I still don't completely understand the reporting area or how to build searches but I'm sure that will improve with more time and training.

“Powerful finance automation”

Pros

Across finance operations, it delivers real time multi entity reporting, smooth consolidation and scalable automation that helps speed up the close process while improving overall accuracy.

Cons

The interface is not the best, custom workflows don't offer much flexibility and reporting and integrations often depend too heavily on workarounds.

“Promising AI roadmap ahead”

Pros

The Claude integration really stands out and the AI roadmap for the next 6 to 12 months looks very promising. It seems valuable not just for its own users but for developers as well.

Cons

There's nothing major to complain about but if I had to point out one area, I'd say the text enhancement could be better. It may also need more improvement for retailers or eCommerce businesses.

“good fit for our business”

Pros

Being able to adapt the system around our specific business needs is probably the part I appreciate most. That level of flexibility makes it work well for the way our team operates.

Cons

The biggest downside for me is how complex the system seems overall. It can be especially hard for junior staff to get comfortable with and use confidently.

Pros

The way it handles data is excellent and setting up approval workflows is very easy. The role and access management features are also really well done and make it simple to control permissions.

Cons

Honestly I haven't run into any issues with it. It's the best ERP I have used and I don't have any complaints to add.
