Moving between areas is easy

Pros

Moving between areas is easy for me and I like that I can keep multiple screens open at once.

Cons

this software offers such a wide range of features that I don't have to rely on any other applications.

Cons

Every day I discover new capabilities inside the app, which I appreciate but exploring them often requires digging through documentation or placing a call to customer support to get clear answers, so it can slow me down.

Really simple to use and navigate

I find the software really�simple�to use and navigate and I particularly enjoy working with the flowchart diagrams.

Cons

We've discovered that several reports we depended on in our old scheduling system are missing and a number of the ones that do exist are difficult to work with.

Customer service gets back quickly

Pros

I've noticed their customer service usually gets back to me quickly whenever I run into problems.

Cons

In my experience, I have to pay for almost everything even for some customer service questions and they frequently turn those interactions into a training session.

provides a huge help in organizing staff

Pros

I find it a huge help in organizing and making sure managers and supervisors maintain appropriate, efficient staffing levels.

Cons

There are mostly minor annoyances when I set up the schedule pages to match how we work but overall the software gets the job done. It can be pretty frustrating sometimes, though, especially when I haven't used a particular feature in a while and often need to remember how to configure it it's not especially�user-friendly�if you're not tech-savvy.

Appreciate multiple tabs and databases

Pros

One thing I appreciate is being able to keep multiple tabs open at once and depending on how many users there are, I can also have several company databases active simultaneously. Overall the program feels�simple�to navigate. On a typical day I move between A/R, A/P, Inventory, Job Costing, Human Resources and payroll and I can pull nearly anything I need from the various reports available.

Cons

However, I'm annoyed by how it handles number sorting. It doesn't arrange entries in true sequential order but instead organizes them by individual digits. For example, my inventory codes end up ordered with 10099 first, then 101, 1010, 1011 and so on. After 1019 it jumps to 102, 1020, 10204. Because it sorts based on each digit's value, locating items in a large warehouse database becomes really challenging.

offers many options for entering data

Pros

I really like how many different options there are for entering data and pulling up reports as it gives me flexibility in how I work.

Cons

To be honest training staff on this program has been incredibly difficult for me and I would almost avoid using it completely. I feel WinTeam behaves more like a tool built for software developers than something�natural�for the average employee to learn.

Built software tailored to our industry

Pros

I'm really pleased that WinTeam built software tailored to our industry. From estimates and scheduling to timekeeping, payroll and invoicing and even tools for benefits management. Overall it manages every part of my commercial janitorial business operations.

Cons

It would be really useful if every report could be printed. I struggle a little with creating custom reports and there are items that just won't print at all. On top of that the accounting module isn't as�simple�as something like QuickBooks. While I can dig into the fine details across every area of my business, I still rely on my accountant to walk me through the numbers and make sense of it all.

Forgiving and easy to reverse mistakes

Pros

I'm impressed with how forgiving this software is. I can easily reverse mistakes, which I still make often as a new user.

Cons

We notice that certain modules perform noticeably better than others and the inventory feature doesn't provide much value for our needs.

Easy to learn and natural

Pros

For me, it's easy to learn and�natural and I find it's simple to spot mistakes.

Cons

I find the rollover feature a bit confusing. I'm not suggesting it should be removed but I personally never rely on it but instead I create 11:00 pm-12:00 am and 12:00 am-7:00 am cells manually in Post Setup, so the rollover never gets used.

Love the support from winteam

Pros

I love the support from WinTeam. Whenever there's something I need to understand better, the team is quick to help and I usually learn something new on each call. They keep things updated and communicate really well.

Cons

There are so many functionalities and we feel it would help to schedule regular training sessions or review windows. the limitation is on our side, not the software. I am convinced we are far from leveraging its full potential and are overlooking some fantastic shortcuts and handy tools that would save us time.

Really like the personnel scheduling

Pros

I really like the platform, especially the personnel scheduling features as they let me see the profit and loss for each facility my team services and understand exactly where we're making and spending money. I can line up the actual dollar-per-hour rate we charge clients beside what we pay employees, which makes pricing and labor decisions much clearer. On top of that we are heavy users of the work scheduler so being able to create work tickets and then close them out has genuinely made our company more efficient and effective at serving our clients.

Cons

It's hard to name many negatives but there are three things that bother me. First, our work tickets won't print in alphabetical order, which is inconvenient when I try to organize paperwork. Second, there aren't as many keyboard shortcuts as I would like, so repetitive tasks take longer than they should. Finally, when I ring customer support for help with the software it often feels like the agents are rushed and not particularly happy to speak with their clients, which makes troubleshooting frustrating.

Very reliable for easy access

Pros

I've been using this product since 2013 and have consistently found it to be very reliable for easily accessing information whenever I need it.

Cons

At times, I find the user interface is too compact when entering information, so I often have to use a larger monitor just to clearly see exactly what I'm working on and avoid strain.

I like that the system toolbar sits on the left side and that items are grouped into detailed departmental categories.
