solid asset detail

Pros

Customer support has been outstanding and that matters more than anything when it comes to making software successful. The vendor was also very willing to customize the system around what we needed. Having the platform installed on our own servers adds a lot in terms of stability, security and convenient access. Another big plus is how thoroughly the software handles asset engineering data there is very little that gets overlooked.

Cons

A few parts of the data presentation could be clearer especially the pipeline inspection history which can be hard to follow. On top of that the way pipeline repair activities are handled right now is not ideal. To show that a repair was completed at certain locations, we have to delete the metal loss data and that means losing important historical information. It would work much better if the system could keep both the original metal loss records and the repair details so the full inspection and maintenance history stays intact.

reliable RBI fit

Pros

Right from the start the software has handled data management reliably and fits our Risk Based Inspection (RBI) program requirements very well. It gives us plenty of flexibility to adapt the system as our business and integrity management needs continue to change and the help desk and technical support team have been responsive whenever needed. The platform is user friendly, easy to navigate and supports customized reporting along with quick integration with other systems. Overall, it offers strong value for the cost and has been a cost effective option for managing inspection and integrity related data.

Cons

We have not run into any major issues with the platform. A few advanced customization and reporting needs can take some extra configuration effort and there are certain workflows that could be simplified further to improve the overall user experience. That said, these are fairly minor points and have not had any meaningful impact on how we use the software.

needs better navigation

Pros

It has fewer bugs and issues than I expected. Being cloud based is also helpful since access is available from anywhere and the user management features are useful. It also keeps maintenance low which saves time and not having to deal with constant updates or patches is a plus.

Cons

The weak points are much more noticeable in day to day use. Navigation is not very efficient, the dashboard could be more user friendly and reporting does not offer enough flexibility. The mobile app still feels underdeveloped, customization is not very convenient and customer management also needs improvement.
