“Enjoy the automations”
Pros
Easy to get started and using it day to day has been simple. The automations are especially something I really enjoy.
Cons
The service agreement sales workflow still needs work and service agreements can't apply a discount to pricebook items. It would also be better if the pricebook import template supported mapping assembly items with labor and materials so HCP could calculate markup and pricing correctly.

“Simple to train technicians”
Pros
Its quite user friendly and training our dispatchers and technicians didn't take much time at all. The tags have been especially useful because they let us build processes and reports that actually fit the way our business operates. The QuickBooks integration has also been very simple to work with.
Cons
Mobile app could be better when our technicians need to check the history for a job address especially if the customer has multiple locations. I also wish Housecall Pro had a direct shortcut from the customer profile to a specific sales proposal.

Cons

“A game-changer for our team”
Pros
Back when we weren't using this software, everything was written down by hand which made information outdated, difficult to find and generally disorganized. Since switching to this system, the way our whole operation runs has completely changed. With the steady growth in customers, there's no way we could handle what we do now without this phenomenal software. It has improved both our business operations and customer service in every possible way.
Cons
When there's a last-minute change, we have to remind the technician to refresh the app so the updates appear on their end. Still, that's a very small inconvenience compared to the huge amount of value and excellent functionality we get from the software.

“Clearly laid out”
Pros
As a new user, I'm really enjoying the dashboard because everything is laid out clearly and easy to see. Scheduling has been simple to handle and invoicing has been a breeze. I absolutely love it.
Cons
At this point the only downside is that I'm still new to the platform and getting familiar with how the system works.

“Workflow makes sense”
Pros
Getting around the system feels fairly simple and the overall workflow makes sense. I really haven't run into many problems, aside from occasional issues with customer addresses not saving correctly and parent billing details ending up in the wrong fields. Overall it's simple to use and the layout feels comfortable.
Cons
The mobile app is where most of the frustration comes in. It's hard to see much on the screen, pages don't always load the way they should and about half the time it won't let me add jobs at all. It feels pretty glitchy overall and I'm honestly not much of a fan of that part of the software.

Pros
I find it easy to use and most of the time I can sort things out on my own. When I do get stuck, their live chat team responds really fast which has been a big help.
Cons
There are still a few areas where I wish there were more customization options, along with the ability to build out a few more automations.

Pros
Starting my business with HCP meant I learned on this system from day one so I really do not know anything different. That said after running other companies before, I can honestly say Housecall Pro would have been a very helpful tool to have in place. It does a really good job of keeping everything organized and helping me stay on top of the tasks that come with running a business.
Cons
There are times when the software glitches and that can be pretty frustrating. Uploading or taking pictures through the app also takes longer than it should which is another annoyance. Because of that, I often end up using my camera separately and then uploading the photos into the file afterward.

From an overall standpoint, we're very satisfied with the software. The features and capabilities work well for our company and support what we need it to do.
Cons
Just expect a bit of a learning curve because you'll need to teach yourself a lot and do your own research beyond the Help Center. If you plan to use it with QuickBooks, getting support from an outside consultant is a smart move, otherwise your bookkeeping may become difficult to manage.

Pros
Keeping track of jobs is much more simple with this software and scheduling appointments is really convenient. It also makes sending estimates and invoices quick and hassle-free.

Pros
Right away, having invoicing, billing and messaging all handled in one place makes this software really convenient to use. It also does a nice job with employee management which helps keep everything organized without jumping between different tools.
Cons
A few things still need work especially the message notifications which can be unreliable. There are also times when invoices do not save properly if one user exits an invoice and another user opens it afterward.

Cons

review generation feature works well for me. Creating invoices is quick and simple and putting together estimates is just as simple. Those tools make the day-to-day workflow much more manageable.
Cons
I have a lot more feedback and recommendations than I can reasonably fit here. There are several points I'd rather discuss directly in a conversation since typing everything out would take a long time.

“Excellent Google Calendar sync”
Pros
Connecting it with QuickBooks and Google Calendar has been a huge time-saver. All the information entered in Housecall Pro transfers over automatically which means I no longer have to type everything twice or spend time copying and pasting details into separate systems. I also appreciate the review request feature because it removes the need to pay for or manage another platform just for customer feedback.
Cons
The employee tracking tool does seem to lag at times. There have been instances where an employee left a location hours earlier but the system was still showing them at that same spot. We also rely on TSheets for tracking employee hours and while Housecall Pro offers a similar option, it still falls short in a few areas compared to what we use now.
