Instapay has been an excellent feature for me and definitely one of the best parts of using it!!!
Cons
I really wish it worked with QuickBooks Self-Employed instead of only supporting QuickBooks. I'd also like the credit card swipe rate for the card reader to match the rate they charge for mobile invoicing. Their own phone reader works the best so having more consistent pricing there would be nice.

“Price list keeps me up-to-date”
Pros
The Price List feature has been a real game changer for me. It lets me keep up with price changes over time which has been incredibly helpful. On top of that, just having all my pricing logged in one place makes putting together estimates much more organized.
Cons
I still haven't been able to figure out how to track my employees' hours for specific clients. Some days we work with three or more clients so it would be really convenient if my crew could clock in directly under each client they're working for.

If dealing with poor customer service is somehow your thing, then paying for a full year might suit you.
Cons
Pretty much everything was disappointing, from customer service all the way up to the president. It all seems closely connected.

Keeping up with jobs and invoices is refreshingly simple with this tool. The system is genuinely user-friendly, clean, simple and not at all complicated. It makes tracking progress, managing deadlines and staying on top of billing easy without the usual clutter or confusion. I can focus on the work itself instead of wrestling with the software.
Cons
A number of features such as equipment tracking really should be part of the basic package instead of requiring more.

It's incredibly helpful how the system keeps my customers updated the whole way through.... from arrival and departure to every status change in between. They're never left guessing where things stand which reduces anxiety, cuts down on "where's my order?" inquiries and builds trust in the service. It's proactive communication that makes everyone's life easier.

Having the calendar built in especially with Google Calendar support, is a really nice benefit.

Scheduling, invoicing and online payments have all worked really well for us.. smoothly, reliably and without unnecessary friction. Each piece functions smoothly on its own but what I appreciate most is how well they connect together. A booking triggers an invoice, a payment updates the schedule and everything stays in sync. It's taken a lot of administrative weight off our team and made the whole process feel effortless for our clients too.

It's really simple to manage scheduling, invoicing and dispatching all from one place. Everything is laid out clearly so I can book appointments, send invoices and assign teams to jobs without jumping between different tools or getting lost in menus. Using this as an administrator I could quickly review client invoices to confirm whether they had been paid which helped me calculate employee paychecks accurately. It also made it simple to see which employee handled each job.
Cons
Switching back and forth between the schedule, the job details and the invoice payment status felt pretty clunky especially when I needed to check which employees worked on specific jobs and whether the client had paid.

Pros
One thing that really stands out is how much this software handles for you especially with automatically reminding clients about their scheduled appointments. It also does a really nice job displaying photos of the apartments you have lined up to clean which is especially useful when you're using it for maid service.
Cons
Like a lot of apps, it does have a couple of downsides. Not being able to use it offline is frustrating and the invoice design feels pretty generic. It would be much better if there were more options to customize invoices based on your own preferences.

From both the business side and the customer side, this platform is very user-friendly. It handles a lot and there's so much you can do with it. I considered switching to other brands for better social media support but my customers really prefer Housecall.
Cons
The only thing it's missing is stronger social media support. It would help to have more options for post templates or links for social media.

Having everything we use every day in one place has made a huge difference. Before Housecall Pro, keeping up with invoices was a mess and we didn't even have a proper customer database. Our workflow felt completely scattered. Housecall Pro really solved those problems for us.
