Pros
The help section articles are really useful and being able to check a client's home square footage before showing up is a big advantage. The standout features for me are the customer notifications and the payment portal.

Pros
Getting familiar with the intricacies of a program like this was really worthwhile and at the same time it still feels simple to use. The integrations are also simple and convenient.
Cons
Signing in can be frustrating and the program depends heavily on having a strong internet connection so those issues come up quite a bit during use.

Pros
Before switching to it, keeping up with customer details was a mess. I was juggling handwritten notes, screenshots, OneNote files and then still had to manually enter everything into my calendar which took way too much time. With Housecall Pro, I only need to enter a customer's information once and it automatically syncs everything over to QuickBooks, Google Calendar, customer emails and text messages. It completely organized my workflow and made the whole process much faster and simpler. Honestly there's no comparison. A CRM like this feels essential if you want to run your business efficiently.
Cons
I have run into a few glitches although they were fixed pretty easily. The bigger downside is the cost since paying $150 a month for software feels pretty expensive. I also have some concerns about how well it will hold up when managing thousands of client files. I've seen people on Facebook mention that the system can lag and sometimes won't pull up customers in the database for several minutes once the customer list gets really large. At this point, only time will tell whether those complaints are truly a long-term issue because if that happens, exporting everything to a spreadsheet would be far from ideal.

Ability to create jobs and work orders quickly with all the right details has made invoicing much simpler for us. This software has genuinely helped boost our revenue because fewer items get missed on an invoice.
Cons
Part of our business depends on recurring revenue and that's where the software feels limited. You can set up a recurring job but if anything needs to be changed, we have to delete the original job along with every occurrence. It would be much better if recurring jobs were built from an editable template.

From start to finish, the platform is very simple to use. It keeps track of multiple things at the same time and builds a customer database that takes the guesswork out of finding and managing client information.
Cons
One thing that would really help is a search option that lets you look up a customer by phone number when you can't remember their name. Also, photo uploads tend to be slow most of the time, even when the images are in a small format.

A fellow business recommended this product to me and it has made a big difference in how efficiently my company runs. The features are genuinely useful and the pricing feels fair for everything that's included.
Cons
Over the roughly four years I've been using Housecall Pro, there have been a handful of times when customer support didn't fully meet my expectations. That said I've been happy overall, it's just that every now and then you reach someone who seems stressed or having a rough day and the interaction doesn't go as well as you'd hope.

After demoing several options this ended up being one of the most user-friendly platforms we looked at. This is our first time moving to digital software and their team has been excellent to work with while helping us get everything set up around our company's specific needs. We also really appreciate that it includes a review feature along with real-time data so our office staff can quickly see where technicians are in their schedules. On top of that, the Facebook community has been a huge resource for learning how other companies handle issues and for picking up useful business tips in general.
Cons
At times using the blue bubble chat has meant slower responses than we need especially when something important comes up in the office and needs quick attention. The Facebook group has been helpful for searching out workarounds or possible solutions while waiting to hear back through chat. I understand the reasoning behind not offering direct phone support for urgent issues but in critical moments it really would help to be able to immediately reach a live person by phone.

Customer support has been outstanding and the platform feels very practical. The website builder is also a really useful feature and adds a lot of value.
Cons
It's very user-friendly overall. One thing I'd change is how completed calls fully disappear from the list view. It would also be helpful to connect an inventory or field stock list so while I'm with a customer, I could enter a part number into the active call and instantly see whether I already have that item in stock.
