Right away, I appreciated how many features it comes with and the team checks in with me every couple of weeks. They're both personable and professional which makes a big difference.
Cons
Even as someone who isn't very familiar with computers or apps, this has made things incredibly simple for me. They also regularly ask what they can do better and it's genuinely nice working with such humble people.

Pros
Getting started with it was simple and it connects well with other apps that help our business expand. They roll out new features pretty quickly which I really appreciate and tools like Consumer Financing have been especially valuable for our customers since COVID. Customer support has also been excellent, whenever I get stuck and need help fast, there's always someone available to assist. The system is user-friendly and doesn't take long to learn and it's nice that you can add more features over time as your company grows. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what they come out with next.
Cons
One thing I'd really like is more consumer financing choices for customers with lower credit scores. It would also help to have a middle name field in the customer info section of the app since it gets confusing when multiple customers share the same first and last name. Another limitation is that the contact type only gives options for homeowner or business, with nothing for tenant. That creates problems because sometimes the tenant needs to be billed and other times the owner does. There's also an issue when sending invoices to QuickBooks: if the estimate and job were scheduled using the tenant's customer information but the invoice is supposed to go to the owner, QuickBooks tries to place the tenant's name in the billing section instead of in the recipient or jobsite area. Because of that, I have to manually correct the details before I can email or print the invoice.

“strongly recommend it”
Pros
Everything about it feels user-friendly and getting it integrated into our workflow was simple. It covers nearly every function our business needs right out of the box so we barely had to spend any time on setup or customization. I'd definitely recommend it.
Cons
Honestly the only downside is having to pay for it, LOL. Aside from that, I really don't have any complaints at this point.

“Flawless sync with QuickBooks”
Pros
The invoicing sync from Housecall Pro to QuickBooks works flawlessly and saves me a ton of time every week. It cuts out hours of manual work which has been a huge help.
Cons
The only part that really frustrates me is setting up a child customer. On the app, there's no option to choose a parent company so I have to open Google Chrome on my phone and use the browser version to make that change. Once that's taken care of, this would be the ultimate app for subcontractors when it comes to accessibility, simplicity and efficiency.

Compared with other options, nothing really comes close to this pricing. Even so, it doesn't feel limited at all, you get pretty much everything you could need for a fraction of what most other programs would charge.

Pros
After trying several options, this one gave me the best value for the price. The main things I needed were scheduling and CRM and it handles both really well. The scheduling tools and customer notifications are the features I appreciate most.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see is a better way to integrate flat-rate pricing software.

There really isn't much to praise here. The system feels very slow and I kept running into issues while using it.
Cons
A big problem is how messages come in from clients while you're on the way. On top of that, the texts show up from random phone numbers so customers end up thinking they're all coming from the same company which creates a lot of confusion.

Pros
Using this product has been very convenient and it's simple to navigate. It offers a lot of features we normally wouldn't have access to and we definitely plan to make full use of them. Up to this point, it has been a very positive experience.
Cons
The integration process has been slow on our side. We rely heavily on PO and WO numbers and there really isn't a proper place to store that information besides the notes section. Since some of our technicians aren't very comfortable with technology, it's really important that everything be accessible in one central location.

Pros
Running this on mobile has been incredibly convenient and it's very user-friendly when I'm out in the field. The reporting is excellent and I appreciate that they keep improving it, adding more to it and continuing to build more value into the program.
Cons
One thing I'd like to see is more time spent refining certain existing features instead of constantly pushing out new ones. It would also really help to have a pause button for jobs that aren't finished yet, rather than only being able to pause individual segments.

Out of all the options I looked at, HCP came the closest to being a single platform that covered almost everything I needed. It has saved me a ton of time, let me focus more on selling and even given me back extra hours in my personal time.
Cons
One thing that still gets in the way is building estimates for clients who want several pricing options at once. HCP does let you separate out new options but it's not very convenient to combine multiple selections once the customer decides. I'm hoping that's an area they improve.

Keeping track of customers, sending arrival notifications and collecting reviews has been really helpful. It has also cut down the amount of paper contracts we use and the estimates and billing look clean and professional. The phone app makes everything very convenient to use.
Cons
The banking side is expensive. I use my own Clover device through Bank of America instead because the card processing fees are much lower.
