Handy tool for managing routes

Pros

I really like how I can track driver progress and see the pictures they submit along with their comments.

Cons

The street routing could definitely be better but I know there is an option for truck routes that we have not tried yet. I am hoping that makes a difference!

Simple to use, super useful

Pros

This makes it so easy for drivers to have all the details they need about their deliveries and the locations they are going to. I appreciate how simple it is to use and I have no trouble navigating and discovering new features on my own. The app fits smoothly into our daily routine with our drivers and I love that it is easy to understand. Plus, the regular updates and new features are a big plus!

Cons

Making changes to a route after sending it to the driver can be tricky since there are restrictions, like not being able to change the first scheduled stop. I get why it works that way but it would be nice to have more flexibility. Right now, the only way around it is to deactivate the entire route, but the issue with that is it affects all drivers, not just the one I need to update. That can cause unnecessary problems for the rest of the team. Also, I would love to see a barcode scanning feature that requires packages to be scanned at delivery as proof. It would be even better if drivers could not complete a stop until every box was scanned, including multiple items under one order.

Makes scheduling easier than ever

Pros

OptimoRoute has made my job so much easier by handling the complicated parts of route planning for me. I no longer have to spend extra time figuring out the best routes or managing deliveries manually because the system takes care of it efficiently.

Cons

Smooth and efficient

Pros

This saves so much time! It is simple, easy to use and both drivers and managers can get trained in no time. It also integrates well with our backend system.

Cons

Pros

One of my favorite features is how easy it is to import delivery lists directly from an Excel file. Instead of manually entering each delivery, I can upload the file in just a few clicks.

Cons

I wish there was a way to use admin functions on the app. Right now, I cannot manage things in real time or use routing and traffic features properly on the PC version.

Pros

We can quickly put together a delivery route and tweak the delivery times so they align with each customer's individual preferences.

Cons

I'm generally satisfied but I'd really like the ability for reviews to link straight to Google. At the moment, speaking as a supplier, I can only access and view reviews inside the platform's dashboard.

Easy to import routes

Pros

It lets us import all of our routes straight from our system using an Excel file which saves us from needing to enter them manually.

Cons

I'd really like a built-in scheduling calendar so I can keep everything in a single platform. Since we operate as an Environmental Lab, arranging schedules is a major daily responsibility for us. Aside from that shortcoming, I do value the support it's provided our lab staff and field technicians.

Simple to get started

Pros

The API is so easy to use. I can configure users, add drivers and set up route planning in just two or three clicks and things are basically ready right away.

Cons

We only operate with a single driver in our workflow yet we handle multiple dispatch lines. I believe the licensing cost should reflect the number of drivers actually active rather than counting every driver profile that's been created.

What I really appreciate is how practical the scheduling is, with routing set up in minutes and clear analysis and tracking reports. On top of that, I can say I never seen any system failures which is reassuring.

Cons

I wish there were a way to create an editable, client-customizable template so I could add a logo and some extra details. Right now I can't customize the delivery receipts the way I'd like and that limitation is disappointing.

Pros

The interface is clean, fast and user-friendly. The routing options are impressively flexible too. Being able to schedule a pickup to occur before a delivery has proven extremely helpful for our workflows. The API is simple and well-designed which makes integration easy.

Cons

There isn't enough logging so when several team members make changes it's often difficult to trace who altered what and when. Their support team is responsive and helpful in resolving these cases but I would really appreciate an audit trail or similar visibility built into the customer-facing interface for clearer accountability.
