“Support team goes above and beyond”
Pros
Beyond the app itself, I really appreciate how the support staff and developers go out of their way to accommodate requests and tailor modifications to meet our specific business needs.
Cons
I find the web app's visual customization options to be quite limited and could use more flexibility.

“Resolves client enquiries”
Pros
When it comes to tracking, I found it resolved so many client enquiries that used to take a long time to handle.
Cons
What frustrates me is that I can't easily return an order once it's been sent to reschedule it for a new time.

“appreciate how quickly it generates optimized routes”
Pros
What I appreciate is how quickly and simply it works. After I upload our customers' addresses, the app generates optimized routes for everyone in just a few minutes.
Cons
I sometimes get routed to the wrong house or into the wrong area when new addresses are added which ends up being annoying and wastes time.

“Organizes our delivery operations”
Pros
Really helps organize our pickup and delivery operations. As a small business that usually dispatches a single truck each day with multiple stops, the app's live updates for delivery times throughout the day have been invaluable. We can see where our driver is without needing to call them and the system automatically texts customers when a delivery is en route. There are also a lot of other features in the app that we genuinely appreciate.
Cons
Although the program saves addresses, it doesn't retain the contact or mobile phone numbers for those addresses. I managed to come up with a workaround to keep the numbers linked so it hasn't been a major problem for our workflow.

“A bit expensive for us”
Pros
I'm finding the interface really simple to use and altering routes takes very little effort. They also provide training when I need it.
Cons
The cost feels high given how we actually use the software and there are features we currently don't require. Still, I can see those same capabilities becoming extremely useful as our operations scale and we expand into them.

“good customizable features”
Pros
It's easy to use and has customizable features you can shape to fit your needs.
Cons
I've noticed there's no audit or history for lower pay tiers which is frustrating. It's also a headache to insert additional orders into a route that's already been completed and I constantly struggle to unschedule routes that are underway or finished when a driver needs more stops.

“Met my needs”
Pros
Our small company had been looking for an easy way to deliver over 300 gifts at Christmas. We used volunteer drivers who made drop-offs at a few homes after their work day. OptimoRoute let me pick a small number clustered together for each driver.
Cons
I felt completely satisfied with every single aspect of the software.

“Helps us plan ahead”
Pros
It lets me schedule routes days or even weeks ahead and easily reshuffle them when needed. It also lets us keep an eye on the teams and tells us when jobs are finished and whether they arrived on time
Cons
We really need more capable driver apps so our drivers can jot down notes on each task and we can then view those notes remotely.

“Way too costly”
Pros
As the name suggests, it really improves my delivery routing and makes the whole delivery workflow much more efficient.
Cons
I'm discouraged by the per-user pricing. I'd love to bring on additional drivers and expand but the fees make that unrealistic given my current profit margins.

“Saves time and effort”
Pros
I used to spend hours each night typing in every address but since I started using OptimoRoute it's become a one-click task which lets me hit the sack earlier and saves me hours of work. I just upload my addresses organize them and export them.
Cons
My hope is that my driver could re-sort and optimise the route while they're out on the road. I'd really welcome that capability and I'm hopeful it'll be added in the near future.

“Confusing analytics”
Pros
I really appreciate how easy it is to set up routes and to track orders live.
Cons
The route stops don't show up in the correct sequence so I wish they were updated to allow more strategic stop ordering. Also, I've found the analytics dashboard to be quite confusing.

“We can guide drivers when needed”
Pros
Routing performs well. I appreciate being able to watch our drivers in real time and guide them when necessary. The breadcrumb trail is also useful for locating a misplaced package during deliveries.
Cons
umm pricing is confusing, though I appreciate the SMS auto top up.

“Perfect for our small business”
Pros
For our small business, I've found the OptimoRoute platform to be a great fit and very user-friendly. It offers flexibility and comes with a handy mobile app. Their customer support has been outstanding and ever since we switched to it, I've noticed a significant boost in how effectively we deliver products.
Cons
Occasionally I'm unable to create routes that include my entire driver team because the system seems to only accept two drivers at a time. It's not a major issue though. Perhaps we need to adjust the drivers' profile settings to fix this.

“Such a gamechanger!”
Pros
I've found this system really simple to use and our staff get the hang of it quickly too. The fact that I can upload Excel spreadsheets to speed up the process, along with the option to assign tasks to several drives at once, has genuinely been a game changer for how we operate day to day.
Cons
Honestly, there's not much about it that I actively dislike. I just believe there's always room for improvement. What I would love to see is OptimoRoute reach HIPAA compliance so I feel comfortable adding more member information and sensitive data to the platform without worrying about privacy or regulatory issues.

“Easy to enter data”
Pros
Uploading data is not an issue and I really like how quickly I can get everything into the system. It mostly creates sensible routes and even lets me assign two drivers simultaneously. In a few cases I've been able to set two different delivery time windows for a single driver which makes things much clearer for customers who are tracking their deliveries live. Whenever I enter an address, the app stores it in its database so I don't have to type out the full address again next time which saves me time.
Cons
At times the routes the system generates make no sense and I have to step in and rebuild them by hand which is time-consuming and annoying.
