Keeps the team connected

Pros

We really appreciate the connectivity. Our field technicians and office staff are all linked so we can schedule jobs and immediately see what needs doing. It also cuts down on paperwork because we can invoice customers directly from the field which organizes our process considerably.

Cons

For us, it's far bigger and more complicated than necessary. We're only using a small slice of what it can actually do so a lot of its capability goes unused by our team.

Doesnt run well for Android

Pros

Most of the time the software runs perfectly on my iPhone 6. Clocking in and out and browsing through the app is quick on my iPhone. I mainly use this app just to punch in and out of work orders and to add photos to benchsheets so it meets my needs for that.

Cons

It doesn't perform nearly as well on Android. I've found the Note 20 Ultra to be much, much slower than the iPhone 6 in almost every part of the app. The app also crashes occasionally when I try to upload photos to benchsheets, the screen will go completely black and I have to force close and restart the app.

Easy to browse jobs

Pros

Appreciate how simple it is to browse jobs and how all the details are conveniently kept under a single job entry. I can upload everything once a project is complete and anyone handling maintenance later can view all the data previous users entered which makes follow-ups and fixes much simpler.

Cons

We struggle to tell where our coworkers are located. The app shows them only as a location marker and a color but we can't tell which color belongs to which person. That means when we need someone close by to lend a hand quickly, we can't pull up their names and find them.

Great tool to have

Pros

As someone who uses it daily, I find the system very easy to use and practical. It's an excellent tool to keep in your toolbox and the attachment option is awesome. It lets me upload and store a large amount of information directly within work orders. It's a solid, powerful system and I have a great deal of confidence in it.

Cons

I've run into several drawbacks that bother me. The recurring work order functionality doesn't always behave correctly which creates extra manual cleanup. On an iPhone I can't use the scheduler's zoom feature at all which is frustrating when I'm trying to view timelines on the go. Integration with Sage works well but it's expensive because you're essentially required to update Sage every year and those mandatory upgrades push the operating costs way up. The inventory module could use significant improvement and I'd like the ability to create folder structures for job sites within the system.

Scheduler keeps me on track

Pros

The scheduler is something I really like because it keeps me on track and lets me monitor projects that are in progress. I can clearly see what has been invoiced and what still hasn't and it allows me to easily convert estimates into work orders and then into invoices.

Cons

One drawback I notice is the absence of customizable templates for invoice layouts and I feel presentation matters when I'm communicating with customers. It would help if the app offered adjustable page breaks and other fundamental layout options for templates and invoices.

Pros

I can quickly locate information by entering multiple different inputs so finding the data I need is simple.

Cons

Sometimes I find certain items difficult to change for example, I've struggled to change a client's information after it's already been set up.

Pros

I find it user-friendly and our field guys are able to operate it without any problems.

Cons

From my experience, it bugs out a lot. The search bar is awful and will sometimes return far too many options.

Option for adding photos

Pros

The data storage capability for equipment and work orders is incredibly useful and I also like being able to attach photos to all the applicable fields.

Cons

I used to be frustrated by the absence of an inventory module and although they've added one now, I find its updates are slow and the system itself can be unreliable at times.

Ease of assigning tasks

Pros

I really appreciate how simple it is to create and assign tickets. It makes dispatching people fast and gets work moving quickly since technicians have site details right at their fingertips.

Cons

For me, the inventory export comes out as a very plain Excel sheet that doesn't clearly mark what needs replacement so I end up combing through the entire list because there isn't any obvious indicator available.

Affordable software

Pros

What I liked most was the reasonable price and how user-friendly it is. I found it simple to roll out across our organization and the mobile apps work really well too.

Cons

I'd love more in-depth reporting options, things like sales broken down by technician, daily ticket revenue figures and similar metrics. I'd even pay an additional fee to get these features.

From my experience, the mobile app sometimes glitches unexpectedly and it could really benefit from a few extra features.

Cut down on paper waste

Pros

I'm impressed by how it automatically iterates, files, schedules and organizes work order numbers. That kind of automation has significantly reduced the administrative burden and cut down on paper waste which I love.

Cons

One frustrating thing I run into is a workflow quirk that forces me to duplicate effort and re-enter information that's already stored. For example, when I submit a quote for tender there are often three to five different contractors who need pricing even though the job site itself doesn't change. After I create the quote for the first customer, copying it should carry over the job-site details but it doesn't. In my view, job sites shouldn't be tied to a specific customer because civic addresses exist independently of whichever business or contractor is on site.

Lets me work remotely

Pros

With the web-based app, I can send our Service Techs out and bill our customers no matter where I am so managing field work remotely is simple for me.

Cons

I don't have any complaints at the moment. After switching from a desktop application, this software provides me with everything I currently need and works well for my setup at this time.

Stores customer's contact info

Pros

I appreciate that the app gives me a lot of options for organizing different parts of my work and I also like being able to store each customer's contact details directly inside the app.

Cons

The whole interface feels clunky. The buttons are small which makes each screen look cluttered and hard to use. I end up tapping through multiple menus and screens just to reach where I want and when I try to go back a page it can take a long time to load or fail to return at all which is really frustrating.

Setting it up was not hard and my team can access the app on their phones anytime which makes adoption much easier for everyone.

Pros

Using it has made managing my timesheets really easy for me. I can quickly locate job descriptions and leave helpful notes so the next person knows what to do.

Cons

Love the ease of use it provides

Pros

As a mechanic, I really appreciate how user-friendly and simple the system is and our customers can easily view the technicians' notes and photos since everything's digital. In our line of work, keeping both clients and staff around is one of the two biggest drivers of growth and giving happy team members the right tools at their fingertips makes a tangible difference. The reporting features help me reconcile invoices with work orders. I also set up Stripe for credit card payments quickly. It's inexpensive and has unlocked practical ways to help clients without forcing them through lengthy credit applications.

Cons

I ran into a permissions issue during setup. The default configuration lets basic user levels delete clients, job sites and even work orders. It's something you need to be aware of before you start adding people to the platform, support can change it easily but it's a precautionary step. Also the map link for a job site occasionally points to the billing address instead of the actual job location which can be confusing in the field.
