“Well-trained team”
Pros
What I really love is that their team is so well-trained and seems genuinely willing to push out updates when a client asks for them. I'm also a fan of how the product is built specifically for the cleaning industry because it comes with industry-focused support in addition to solid software features. A lot of the top cleaning businesses I follow are using Zenmaid and there's a lively online community around it. For a short while I experimented with Jobber. While it offered many of the same capabilities, it didn't provide the same level of ongoing, business-specific support. I love that ZenMaid keeps improving and keeps adding new reports over time. Since I like to pull company data into excel for deeper analysis, the newer reports have made my work much easier. It feels simple to give feedback and just recently I asked for a specific report, the team implemented it within a few days which I really appreciated.
Cons
At first the app didn't include a map feature, though I know the team is actively developing one. There were also only a limited number of reports available to pull from the database. I'd really like to see more reporting options in future updates, for example a report that calculates driving time between a client's 'clock in' and 'clock out' entries for each house.

“Quick setup”
Pros
Using it, I've found it's really simple to get started and quick to set up. The layout feels user-friendly with a clean, uncluttered design that makes everything easy to find. There's a respectable amount of customization available which I appreciate. Overall, I think it offers the right mix of helpful features and polish to run my cleaning business effectively without being overcomplicated or presenting a cluttered, busy interface.
Cons
I've been using this since August 2019 and so far I haven't come across anything about it that I dislike. I'll keep relying on this program for as long as I need its functionality.

They understand users' needs. The team keeps improving the product and actively enhances it to remain the top maid service software available. I'm impressed by how user-friendly it is and by the outstanding support their staff provides me whenever I need help or have questions.
Cons
We really don't have any complaints. We know the company constantly updates its software's capabilities and features to meet users' needs and improve functionality for everyone.

We find it simple to use and feel like it offers every perk you'd get from an expensive application while still presenting a polished, professional look.
Cons
For me, it never syncs reliably with QuickBooks and I can't hook up multiple payment processors which forces me into lots of duplicate data entry. The team keeps adding new capabilities but many of the core, basic functions still glitch from time to time.

I appreciate the auto-scheduling and reminder tools. They make my life so much easier. For me, having the system hold all of my clients' information in one place helps me stay organized and on top of everything. It also makes tracking staff simple since the app has GPS and automatic reminders to keep everyone accountable.
Cons
I've run into a few problems with the technicians' mobile app. My cleaners often mention connection drops and sometimes notes fail to save. Beyond that, I'd love to be able to share photos directly and see a live dispatch view that compares openings versus bookings to make scheduling easier. Also, a group messaging area would be really helpful for team communication.

I don't like the glitches. We run into problems whenever we make recurring changes. The calendar sometimes fails to load properly. Our techs also can't reliably clock in or out because of location issues. The mobile app is unreliable so we mostly stick to the web version.

Great being able to give my business manager full access across the platform so they can handle operations for me and I can jump in when necessary to run payroll or oversee and tweak things as required.
Cons
My business manager and admin assistant have faced many glitches while using the software. For example, they'll hit save and then it will glitch out, forcing them to go back in and re-enter an entire appointment from scratch again.

“It's been a gamechanger”
Pros
The automated daily reminders alone have cut down so much of our workload because we used to manually send messages to each customer every evening. Back when we were stuck on that older program, it only ran on a single computer which got really frustrating but ZenMaid lets us pull up the schedule from any device now. I was even able to go on a five-day family trip out of state and the company kept running smoothly while we were gone. Honestly, it's changed our lives!
Cons
I honestly can't point to anything I dislike about it. What I appreciate is that it keeps rolling out updates on a regular basis and I feel like the team actually pays attention when users tell them what could be improved. That responsiveness gives me confidence that any small annoyance I might notice will probably be addressed and it's reassuring to see a product that evolves based on real feedback from people using it day to day.

Automation is my lifeline. As a single mom of five, I really needed automated help more than I realized I did! It sends automatic texts, emails and beyond. Rather than wasting hours juggling schedules and details, I put the information in one time and let the system handle everything automatically for me. Their support team is responsive! Whenever I've run into problems they respond quickly, fixing things or guiding me step-by-step so I can resolve issues myself without getting stuck and losing time anymore.
Cons
I'd love a way to log mileage (I've heard that's coming) and to be able to pay mileage within the app as well.

Cons
My payroll system has been a recurring headache and I'm absolutely fed up. There's a bug that makes payroll take me three times longer and requires repeated checks every week to get it correct. If it isn't resolved soon, I might seriously consider going back to doing things with pen and paper.

“Quickly improving”

When I first began using this software back when it was just my husband and me running things, it quickly became the main reason my business could expand so fast. The interface is user-friendly, it scales with you and the extra features are genuinely impressive. Between GPS tracking on the apps, snapshot reporting and a dashboard that's easy to scan at a glance, it honestly covers everything we need. I love that it includes free text reminders to customers and staff through the system so appointments get noticed. I can add a client, schedule the job, assign the team member and then basically stop worrying about follow-ups. It also offers unlimited, customisable booking forms that integrate smoothly into my website or Facebook page which saved me a ton of setup time. If there's something missing, I simply submit a feature request and their in-house developers usually start building it. The pace at which the software has been enhanced and improved over the past two years has been remarkable and I'm excited to watch it continue to grow alongside my business.

“everything at one spot”

Having everything in one place is something I really appreciate. Being able to quickly see when our cleaning techs clock in and out and using simple one-click options makes managing the team so much easier.
Cons
Those tiny circles showing each tech's initials drive me nuts because we have a lot of employees with very similar initials and it's hard for me to tell who is who at a glance. When I put a whole team on a job, the calendar always switches the job ticket to just one tech's color which makes it impossible for me to quickly see on my phone who's actually scheduled without tapping into the job itself. What I wish it could do is split that color, half or into thirds or quarters depending on how many people are assigned so the ticket visually represents everyone working that shift across the day. That way I could open the calendar, tap once and immediately tell who's on that job without multiple clicks. I've tried making separate job entries so each person shows up individually on the calendar but that backfired because clients then received multiple reminders.

Cons
I don't find the payroll feature helpful for my specific setup. I pay my staff daily and there isn't currently an option to handle per-day payments.
