“centralized employee view”

Pros

Having all of my employees visible in one place is really convenient and helps keep everything organized.

Cons

I don't like that I'm not able to make group time edits or at least I can't with the permissions I currently have.

Pros

Starting with it didn't take much effort and I really appreciate the extra discounts on things like movie tickets, theme parks and similar perks.

Cons

An issue I've noticed happens pretty often with this site is when I clock out and leave the page open. By the time I come back to my desk, it sometimes shows multiple clock-outs which throws off my timecard and leaves me having to explain the strange clock-in and clock-out entries to my manager.

Pros

It's really helpful having everything I need in one place which makes the platform much more convenient to use.

Cons

Resetting a forgotten password is incredibly tedious and takes way too much time. There really should be a simpler way to handle that.

Moving around the platform felt pretty easy overall and I usually didn't have to dig through a bunch of pages to find what I needed.

Cons

The interface isn't always the most accessible to move through and getting locked out because of password issues can be really frustrating.

My employees have had no trouble using it at all and the accessibility is really convenient. They genuinely think it's an awesome system to work with.

Being able to check my account information right from my phone has been really convenient. The whole platform feels easy and well organized so using it is simple and hassle-free.

One thing I'm not a fan of is the website redesign since the employee login is now almost hidden. You have to click on all logins to find it and that makes it way too easy to end up trying to sign in through the wrong portal.

Everything is laid out in a very user friendly way so it's easy to move around and quickly find whatever you need.

Cons

Every now and then, the system seems to think I'm already signed in when I'm actually not and the page won't load. When that happens, I have to clear my cache and log back in again.

Pros

One thing that works well is the connection with LifeSmart and it also lets an employee manage multiple work locations as long as both companies are using the platform.

Cons

Requesting time off can be confusing at times and I wish the payroll integration was more direct and better connected.

Everything is fairly easy to use and I get a clear breakdown of my paycheck, benefits and other details in one place.

Cons

The interface feels pretty outdated and it's hard to get a clear view of my total pay across longer time periods. The graphs also don't feel as dynamic as some other products I've used.

Pros

Compared with a lot of other HR platforms, this is one of the few that consistently feels dependable and covers most of the core HR functions we need.

Cons

There are still some outdated moments though, you can't be logged in on two windows at the same time and every so often a bug pops up that forces you to clear your browser history just to sign in again.

Pros

At a previous job, we used the platform for payroll and having the mobile app made a big difference. I could enter my hours on my smartphone every day and keep tabs on everything without any hassle. It was really convenient for staying on top of my time.

Cons

You need to be careful when entering AM or PM since the system will make an assumption if you don't and it's often wrong. That said it does total your hours automatically so if something looks off, that usually helps catch a mistaken AM or PM entry.

Employees can sign in without much trouble to record holidays or absences and it's also simple to go back into the system later and update anything when needed.

Cons

Login process could definitely be better since I keep having to reach out to the admin team whenever my password needs to be reset.

“confusing reports hurt payroll”

Pros

Starting out with the platform felt really promising and I've had pretty mixed feelings overall. They gave us 6 free payroll runs in the beginning which was a nice bonus. A lot of the payroll work was handled for us and their customer service has been excellent whenever help was needed. Employees are able to access and manage all of their pay information themselves, T4s can be emailed directly to staff and they also handle everything related to CRA which takes a lot off our plate.

Cons

The reporting is unbelievably confusing. There are so many unnecessary lines, tables, pages and bits of jargon that it becomes much more complicated than it needs to be. Moving through payroll runs is frustrating and trying to change a payroll cycle is way more difficult than it should be. Honestly, the reports really bring the whole service down for me because the product feels like it could be doing a much better job there. I also don't appreciate that some things, like automatically mailing reports and other documents, happen by default and then you get charged for them.

“Excellent tool!”

Pros

Being able to pull up all my W-2s, paychecks and related records whenever I need them has been excellent. Everything has worked perfectly and I haven't run into a single error. It's been very dependable.

Cons

I haven't had any issues at all with this software.

“My preference”

Pros

After our company switched to the platform three years ago, it gradually became a platform I genuinely prefer. Managing my PTO is much more convenient now because I can sign in anytime and immediately check my remaining balance. Before this, I had to wait until payday to see it and keep track of it myself and anything else lived in SAP, where the codes were difficult to remember. The platform's online setup feels much better by comparison. Requesting PTO is simple too, just pick the date from the calendar on the side and submit the hours. Another thing that helps a lot is the notification system. The platform does a really good job of alerting me whenever I have mail in the inbox. Approvals, denials, documents and announcements are all sent straight to my work email which makes it much easier to remember to log in and review them. I also appreciate having everything in one place. My paychecks, tax forms, health and dental benefits, policies and other information are all stored together under clearly labeled tabs. Once I spent a little time clicking around, it became pretty easy to get to the pages I needed. Being able to download documents as PDFs and save them on my computer is also very useful. I don't have to reach out to HR anymore just to get a lost tax form or confirm which health or dental plan I signed up for. Even enrolling in or updating benefits at the start of the year is very convenient since it can all be handled directly inside the platform.

Cons

Part that could use improvement is the look and layout of the website. I do appreciate that it stays simple but it feels a little outdated and having more helpful links on the homepage would make a difference. Right now, I sometimes have to click through several pages just to submit PTO. I'd also like to see more guidance built into each page, explaining what the page is for and how it should be used. Some kind of homepage overview or clearer descriptions would have helped a lot when I was first learning the system. During the first few months, I ended up emailing HR all the time just to figure out how to do very basic tasks. Another downside is that updates can take a while to show up. I've noticed delays with things like PTO approvals and salary increases and system updates seem to be one of the slower parts of using the platform.

As someone using it day to day, I can quickly get to all the important things I need, like tax documents, payroll details and my time-off information.

Cons

I don't really have any complaints. It's been awesome to use.

Pros

Handling scheduling, time cards and performance reviews with this software has been really convenient. The email notifications are especially helpful when employees request time off or when I need reminders about upcoming deadlines. It's also nice having all of my paystubs and tax information stored and organized in one place.

Cons

Honestly I can't think of anything I dislike about this software.

Having my pay stubs and timecard in one place is really convenient and it's nice to be able to handle both without jumping between different systems.

Cons

Some parts of the software feel a bit outdated and outdated which can make it harder than it should be to find the sections of the platform I need.

Pros

Requesting time off in the platform is pretty easy and I can quickly check both current and older pay stubs whenever I need them. The calendar view is useful and the dashboard does a nice job showing how much time off I still have available.

Cons

The interface could be more accessible. At times, it takes longer than it should to track down the exact action or feature I'm trying to use.
