simple but costly and unsupported

Pros

such a amazing platform. I figured it out in no time, barely any learning curve at all.

Cons

Customization options are locked behind pricier plans and without a dedicated rep in the basic package, I end up wasting tons of time trying to get help.

Convenient yet overwhelming interface

Pros

Being able to favorite my most-used menus is a lifesaver. And having training requirements built right into the system makes everything so much more aligned.

Cons

The sheer number of options can feel overwhelming at times and I wish there was a hover feature that showed more details before making selections.

Game changer with limited recruiting

Pros

Having everything in one place is a game-changer. You can tell the devs actually listen to user experience when they build stuff. They always ask for our feedback and you can see them actually using it, which makes us feel heard. And when you need help, you get a real knowledgeable person on the line.

Cons

Recruitment module feels limited from my perspective as a recruiter and could definitely use some more robust features.

all in one, no dedicated help

Pros

It handles everything from hiring to retiring which is awesome. The interface is so simple and ADP is great about keeping me in the loop with updates. The dashboard and analytics? absolutely fantastic!

Cons

The lack of a comprehensive service platform means I'm stuck with whoever I can reach through chat or the customer service queue. There's no dedicated contact person assigned to me, or if there is one, I have absolutely no clue who that might be.

Grows perfectly with you

Pros

This platform has been perfect for our growing business and has honestly scaled right along with us. The support team has been amazing the entire time and it's been a great learning experience for everyone.

Cons

I discovered during my recent training on the performance module that we weren't running the latest version. Had to figure this out myself and then let ADP know about the outdated software.

searchable but limited mobile app

Pros

I can usually find whatever I need right away. You just type in what you're looking for and, as long as you know how to use the results, you're golden.

Cons

Mobile app is very frustrating since it doesnt have all the admin features that are available on the website.

Convenient but slow support

Pros

The convenience of having all our HR stuff in one spot is a huge win. We use this for almost all our employee management, and I'm seriously impressed with how much it can do.

Cons

Customer service quality varies by rep and some questions can't be answered on the spot. While they're always eager to help and find solutions, it often means long wait times when issues need to go to the backend team for resolution.

Massive range, unhelpful reps

Pros

as a big company, we love the massive range of products that work with ADP. Plus there's never a shortage of customer service reps when you need one.

Cons

The customer team has way too many reps who just don't know what they're talking about when we need help. Plus some features aren't interactive at all which means we're forced to deal with these unhelpful representatives even though they can't actually solve our problems.

scalable and easy to use

Pros

It is so interactive and easy to get around. Having such a strong support system is a lifesaver. My favorite part is how scalable it is and we can easily adjust tools and resources as our business changes.

Cons

Maybe faster customer support would be nice but honestly I can't think of any real downsides.

Good features but poor support

Pros

The system is super amazing and there are tons of add-on modules you can get if you need them.

Cons

Follow-up from tech support is pretty lacking and sometimes you dont even get a response at all.

Easy for new employees

Pros

Interface is very user friendy, so new hires figure it out fast. Everything just makes sense and quite easy to use.

Cons

Without linking time tracking to payroll, figuring out who's off on any given day becomes a real headache.

Good reports need better preview

Pros

It's simple to use, great for tracking important details and the reporting features are very flexible.

Cons

reporting features need work and it would be great if it could compare current pay with previous periods in the preview like Ceridian does, so you dont have to run multiple reports to catch discrepancies.

Helpful but indirect support

Pros

The support team is very responsive. I can ask them anything at any time and they're always ready to help me figure it out.

Cons

Would prefer being able to call the support number directly for GLI customizations rather than having to open a case each time.

Great but vague help

Pros

Their customer support is seriously impressive. Any time I have an issue, they make solving it so easy.

Cons

Getting specific answers when you run into problems can be pretty frustrating and the support responses tend to be vague rather than addressing the exact issue your dealing with.

Does everything but support slow

Pros

I've been using this full HRIs solution and it really does it all. The expert HR guidance, training programs and salary tools have been priceless. There's a huge library of online courses and you can even connect with other pros to learn more. The advisors are so skilled and approachable and they really want you to succeed. The implementation team was knowledgeable and supportive, keeping everything on track. For daily tasks the help guides are always there if I get stuck. Once you learn your way around. The recruitment part posts to job boards smoothly and payroll syncs perfectly with time tracking. The mobile app is user-friendly and gives employees quick access to their info. You can also easily control who gets to see what which is great for security.

Cons

I've found that submitting a support ticket means waiting forever for a response and when they finally get back to me, they rarely explain what they did to fix the issue. I've learned it's much faster to just pick up the phone and call and I get real answers that way. Also don't hold your breath for feedback on suggestions. I've submitted a few ideas but never hear anything back about whether they're being considered or implemented. The training process felt pretty overwhelming when I was first getting started. And the mobile app could definitely use some improvement; it's frustrating that so many features are only available on the desktop especially when I need information while I'm out. Honestly this system is so powerful that I feel like I'm only scratching the surface of what it can do.

Looks great but clunky tools

Pros

Love the clean, professional look of the interface. The recruitment stuff works like a charm and posting to Indeed is a total easy. The recent updates to performance reviews have been a game-changer; they're so much simpler now. And the notifications in the Talent section are spot on. Overall everything just makes sense and is easy to find.

Cons

setting up automatic notifications is more complicated than I'd like and building custom reports feels clunky especially when you need data that doesn't work well with the field grabber. It's frustrating that you can't have two screens open at once to easily switch between pages. Also missing a running total for hours worked which would be really helpful for tracking time.

Best for compliance and work

Pros

ADP is a lifesaver when it comes to keeping up with all the compliance and law changes. They give you all the info and tools you need to handle employee data and communication without the headache. How they organize everything has totally changed how we work! My team uses it daily and it's both effective and efficient. Plus, connecting it with other apps especially from the Marketplace, is pretty easy.

Cons

We've had some issues when they roll out new features. Getting anything implemented that isn't payroll-related has been pretty rocky.

Helpful guides annoying updates

Pros

The support resources are great and there are so many help guides that I can usually figure things out myself. And having the ADP contact number right on the homepage is a nice touch for when I need to call my team for backup.

Cons

Managing employee status changes is frustrating because you have to update information in multiple places and they can't all be done simultaneously. This creates a lot of extra reminders for what should be one simple task. The transfer process is particularly annoying since it can't happen until the pay period opens for that specific timeframe. You are stuck either opening all pay periods at once or waiting until payroll processing day which means changes could be sitting there for two weeks before they're actually implemented.

Payroll good hris not good

Pros

Payroll works really well for us but the HRIs side could be better. There are a few features I'd like to use that just aren't available on our current plan.

Cons

The intranet system isn't user-friendly at all and getting through to customer support is a real challenge. Honestly the ease of use has gone out the window and I constantly get complaints from employees about access problems and various issues they're dealing with.
