“simple and reliable for twenty years
Pros
Been using this daily for over 20 years and it honestly keeps up with the times. The layout is simple to get the hang of. Having a dedicated account manager is a game-changer for getting help. Adding other apps from their marketplace is very easy too.
Cons
It can be unforgiving when you make mistakes like entering wrong dates and it doesn't handle errors gracefully.

“cool tech but updates cause trouble
Pros
The tech stuff they've added over the years is cool! Doesn't matter if you're a small business or a huge one, there's something for you.
Cons
Updates occasionally mess up the report mapping I've set up with ADP for automatic payroll processing. Getting this sorted out while trying to run payroll can be a real trouble.

“incredibly customizable and helpful resources
Pros
I like that I can customize much everything to fit how I work. Adding new tools when we need them is simple. And the help resources are incredible between the support site and the user forum, I can always find an answer myself.
Cons
Customer service is only available during certain hours in your timezone which can be frustrating when you need help outside those times.

“easy workflows and great payroll tools
Pros
Using the different workflows is easy and if I'm ever stuck, support has my back. The QuickBooks connection works like a charm for our payroll data. Also the Wisely paycard is a lifesaver for employees without a bank account.
Cons
The reporting has tons of features compared to other payroll systems but customizing reports can be tricky and with so many options available, finding exactly what your looking for gets overwhelming.

Pros
Everything we needed was in one spot so it was easy to find my way around. Their customer support was top-notch, way better than others I've dealt with.
Cons
time and attendance module couldn't handle several of our payroll features so we ended up switching to a different vendor that could meet our requirements.

Pros
The automation is insane and it does all the backend HR work for me. I've saved so much time on admin stuff and can finally focus on actual strategy.
Cons
The reporting felt confusing initially though it's gotten much better since they upgraded the system with that field grabber feature.

“easy tax setup but buggy features
Pros
setting up in a new state is no big deal with this system. The tax part is really easy to figure out, didn't take long to learn.
Cons
I've had problems getting employees back from leave of absence and it's been a real problem. The Open Enrollment Benefit Manager has also given me trouble and doesn't work as smoothly as it should.

“incredible reports but slow support
Pros
The reporting is absolutely incredible! I love digging into data and I haven't found a single thing I can't report on. I can always get the exact data I need, formatted just how I want it.
Cons
While the support team is always helpful and responsive, I find it frustrating when I have an urgent question and can only use the connect request feature. Sometimes I just need to call someone quickly for a fast answer which would be much more efficient than waiting for a response.

Pros
interface is so easy for me and my whole team. And anytime I've had an issue, customer support has been fantastic and they've fixed every single problem. Switching from Paylocity was way easier than I thought it would be, everything just came together smoothly.
Cons
There really isn't anything negative I can think of, this has handled every issue we've thrown at it.

“saves tax time but annoying passwords
Pros
Being able to log in from pretty much anywhere to get what I need is a huge win. The best part? I don't have to deal with all those tax returns myself. With 7 locations in 2 states and a ton of local taxes, that alone saves me so much time.
Cons
The password update requirements are pretty annoying and you have to change it every 2-3 months and coming up with new ones that meet thier criteria while avoiding your last 4 passwords is a real problem.

so far this is a massive upgrade from our old system. We're able to give our customers a much better experience now.
Cons
The transition has been mostly positive though I sometimes worry about getting lost among their larger clients. Occasionally those concerns about being overlooked do come up but overall I'm still really glad we made this move.

UI is clean and user-friendly. It just makes everything easier to find and use.
Cons
One thing that really bothers me is they removed the direct link to the Bridge feature. It used to be such a handy resource that was right there but now I have to hunt around the whole site just to locate it.

“My perfect system since 2008
Pros
I've been with ADP since 2008, starting with E-Time and now on Workforce NOW. I love having everything in one place. We started with just 120 people for time tracking and grew to over 800 even adding scheduling and benefits. The interface is so interactive and probably the easiest system I've ever used. And when I need help, both the phone support and the live chat are really responsive.

I can't think of anything negative to say about it!

“Broken data and terrible service
Pros
I can see all my staff across different company codes in one spot which saves me from having to jump between screens all the time.
Cons
Data flow between modules was completely broken. The "spin" team screwed up our employee tax reporting which caused inflated 2021 wages to be reported to the IRs. Our employees are still dealing with this mess. When we tried to get help fixing it, customer service was terrible.

It pretty much does everything I need for HR, tracks time, keeps personnel files safe, lets me share company policies, assign tasks and more.
Cons
mobile app is very limited compared to the website and there's alot of stuff you just cant do on your phone that you can easily handle on the desktop version.

“User friendly system with great reports
Pros
I find the interface really easy to use and handling admin tasks has been simple. The reporting is especially awesome and it's giving us exactly what we need to run things.
Cons
The carrier EDI feeds are missing which is frustrating. Integration with COBRA admin, FsA admin and HsA admin through certain third-party vendors isn't fully there yet. The interface with third-party vendors could definately use some work.
