“customizable dashboard”
Pros
Everything I need is available in one place right from the dashboard. It's also customizable so we can surface the content that actually fits our organization. On top of that it's a platform I trust which gives me confidence that our data stays secure.
Cons
Honestly I don't have any real complaints and haven't come across any flaws.

“all employee details in one place”
Pros
Everything in the software feels very easy to navigate. Employee information is simple to pull up and I really appreciate being able to keep so much detail stored right in each person's profile.
Cons
The reporting piece could be a bit more user friendly when it comes to building reports.

“has a lot of features”
Pros
The software offers a wide range of features and functionality. If you're looking for a more comprehensive HRIS, there are plenty of add-ons and plug-ins available to expand what the system can do.
Cons
At times, the platform can feel less accessible than expected. That said, the more you work in it, the more familiar it becomes and each use makes it easier to navigate.

“great software”
Pros
This tool comes with a wide range of features. You can manage time cards, commission adjustments, employee reviews and plenty of other tasks all in one place.
Cons
The interface feels dated from both a UI and UX standpoint. It takes a while to learn and it isn't always very accessible to use.

“no effort required”
Pros
Since I was on the road a lot for work, the software made it simple to sign in and keep up with my payroll. The system felt user friendly and the navigation was easy so it never took much effort to find what I needed.
Cons
Honestly, there was very little to complain about with the software. The only issue I ran into once in a while was logging in when my internet connection was weak or unreliable in certain areas.

“plenty of features at a price”
Pros
There's a lot this platform can do but you have to be prepared to pay extra for the features you actually want.
Cons
Support tends to be pretty slow, the hold time is usually anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. They also roll out updates all the time so right when you finally get comfortable with how something works, it changes.

“feature-rich but outdated design”
Pros
Compared with some other timekeeping and payroll platforms, it offers a much broader set of features. The integration capabilities are hard to beat and the flexibility to decide how much of your payroll you want the software to handle is genuinely useful depending on the size of your company.
Cons
It feels a lot like other long established software that has dominated its space for years like Deltek or Photoshop. The software comes across as very dated almost like software stuck in the 90s that never fully modernized. A lot of newer payroll and accounting tools look much better and are far more accessible to navigate because they were built using modern design and development practices. The provider has been around for such a long time and it definitely feels that way. They do release updates but because of their size and market share the changes tend to be limited, probably to avoid creating too many implementation issues for their large client base.

“helpful features, outdated timecards”
Pros
Moving from paper timesheets to this has been a big upgrade for us. It's much simpler to review hours worked, submit and approve time-off requests, keep track of available time off and even look back at previous paychecks. There's definitely a lot here that has improved the process.
Cons
At the same time, entering timecards is a real hassle. I'm exempt so I don't personally have to deal with it but I feel bad for my team because it seems unnecessarily frustrating trying to figure out how to log everything correctly. Another odd limitation is the time-off calendar visibility. I can see my direct reports but my boss can only see me and her other direct reports instead of everyone under her organization. A cascading view where managers could see all employees reporting up through them would make far more sense. When we're trying to plan holiday staffing, there isn't a practical way to do that and it feels like something the system should already support.

“accessible payroll and reporting”
Pros
From the start, the software has been highly functional, accessible and easy to use. It makes organizing staff members simple and finding, adding or deleting information is very manageable whenever needed. It's also excellent for pulling reports and accessing data.
Cons
Don't have any complaints about this product. Updates and new functionality are released often enough to keep it current. It has a solid foundation, performs really well and I would definitely recommend it.

“reliable payroll”
Pros
Using the software has been a easy and effective way to handle payroll tasks. It lets me review the details for each pay period, request PTO, send in questions or complaints and check my paycheck breakdowns without any hassle.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see is more functionality and better customization options especially for push alerts, reports and email reminders for upcoming calendar items, needed changes or missing hours and inputs.

“handy across companies”
Pros
One thing that's been really useful is being able to access most of the companies I've worked for that used the software. I've also used it to process payroll for both employees and contractors and entering the information and submitting everything was pretty easy.
Cons
The frustrating part is having so many different logins for different companies. You can't just create one account tied to your Social Security number and each company seems to have its own site. Because of that, it doesn't always pull together information from every place I've worked that used the software.

“benefits and PTO at your fingertips”
Pros
Having everything in one place has made checking benefits, PTO balances, submitting time-off requests, viewing pay stubs and more really convenient. Being able to handle all of that right from my phone is a big advantage. Clocking in and out from wherever I'm working has also been a huge benefit.
Cons
The mobile app still doesn't feel quite as user friendly as the full website.

“strong employee tools, frustrating reporting”
Pros
The employee side of the software has been a real plus. My staff can handle a lot on their own, like updating employee files, enrolling in benefits, changing tax forms, updating contact information and signing policy documents. That self-service functionality has been extremely valuable and is the main reason I chose the software.
Cons
The biggest frustrations have been with things I never thought I would need to investigate so closely before signing on. Reporting has been a major disappointment. I still have not been able to build reports that meet what I need. Even a basic 401(k) audit report which feels like it should be standard, has come in below expectations. On top of that, creating something as routine as a scheduled monthly birthday and work anniversary report has been surprisingly difficult. After spending hours trying to make it work, I eventually gave up. More recently, I tried to put together a summary report from timecards and even something simple like wrapping notes cannot be done. I expected a lot more from such a widely used platform. Even our CPA has mentioned seeing problems with year-end reports for other clients. Support has also been inconsistent. I was originally told I would have a dedicated support contact if I was not getting enough help through the regular support line. Within a few weeks, I reached out to that person because I was struggling to resolve an issue and she replied right away to say she was no longer in that role. When I asked who had replaced her, I never got a response. I went back to my implementation specialist and was told that resource is no longer offered to clients. I also spoke with a third party who said she had heard the same thing from other clients of the provider. If that is how they handle all new clients, that is really not okay. Overall, support has been very hit or miss. Scheduling appointments has usually worked better for us but even that has not been reliable every time.
