amazing tools but tough setup

Pros

Been using this for over 6 years now. The HR and payroll tools are seriously amazing. And the support team is the best, whether I chat, call or email they're always quick and helpful.

Cons

Implementation has been a real headache for me. Every time I've gone through the setup process, there have been significant challenges and roadblocks. I've had implementation specialists switched on me multiple times and many of them just don't seem to have the deep product knowledge needed to get things running smoothly.

Clutch for daily work

Pros

The employment profiles, timesheets and benefits sections are clutch for our day-to-day stuff.

Cons

sometimes it runs slow and freezes on me, plus I get random errors that force me to clear the cache constantly. Also frustrated that when someone enters more PTO than they actually have available, there's no warning or flag and people end up going negative without realizing it.

Perfect for small companies

Pros

This works perfectly for HR people at small to mid-sized companies. Most things are really interactive which helps me get my HR work done way faster.

Cons

When your business has complex needs requiring customization, it's not always feasible. Their support team's customer service leaves much to be desired as well.

Pros

Pros

support team is always there when I have a question. It's such a relief knowing I can get help easily.

Cons

The onboarding process was pretty rough and we weren't properly trained on all the features we actually paid for.

Endless ways to improve

Pros

I can always find what I need, email stuff, chat tools. It just makes sense and if I ever get stuck, there's tons of support. Feels like there are endless ways to make things better which is awesome.

Cons

sometimes the limitations aren't clearly explained which can be frustrating. Our company has some unique policies that might seem odd but I wish there was a way to program for those special cases instead of working around them.

Top notch onboarding process

Pros

The onboarding process is top-notch. I can make my own digital forms and keep it all in one spot so new hires can sign everything easily.

Cons

When I'm looking at someone's employee profile, it's frustrating that I cant jump directly to their documents, instead I have to back out, select documents and then it dumps me back at the top of the entire employee list again.

Never stops improving

Pros

I've been with ADP for 17 years and they never stop improving! They're always making things easier for us. I started with their old PC Payroll, saw them move to separate HR and Payroll modules and now we have this seamless all-in-one system. The live integration is fantastic and the real-time account verification saves us so much time.

Cons

Only area where I could use more assistance is with ADP smart Compliance. Handling Tax agency Notices can get cumbersome and time-consuming at times.

Easy but disconnected system

Pros

Running payroll was so easy for me.

Cons

The integration exists but doesn't function properly. Different parts of the system seem disconnected and don't communicate effectively with each other.

User friendly with great help

Pros

Interface is super user-friendly and has plenty of features, plus a great help platform. I love that I can do most things, like opening a support ticket, online without any trouble.

Cons

Communication about platform updates could definitely be better, sometimes I'm caught off guard by changes I wasn't aware of.

Easy to figure out

Pros

Interface is so clean and friendly, I figured it out on my first day with no training! I was a Ceridian user and never thought I'd switch but this platform totally changed my mind. The support team really knows their stuff too.

Cons

The lack of history tracking for certain fields like addresses and W4 updates is frustrating, even though it does keep decent records of rate changes and check details.

Lifesaver all in one

Pros

Having all my work stuff in one place is a lifesaver and the tracking features cover all our bases. The best part? It's so user-friendly we barely needed any training.

Cons

Login and w2 problems

Pros

so glad all my payroll and tax docs are in one place. Makes life so much easier.

Cons

I keep running into login issues and have to reset my password constantly. Also, they never sent me my W2 for 2022 which was really frustrating.

Great benefits slow tax

Pros

The benefits are great and enrolling was surprisingly quick! shoutout to my HRBP, Tammy Meredith, she's been amazing.

Cons

The tax team takes forever to get back to you and the reporting features are a pain to work with.

Makes my job easier

Pros

Onboarding and payroll features make my job so much easier. The support team is responsive whenever I or my employees have questions. I picked it up really fast and now I'm on this portal daily and it's just that simple.
