“fast support and simple clock-ins
Pros
Right from the start the app felt simple and very simple to use. Setup is barely an issue since you can basically log in and start right away. Clocking in and out only takes one click which makes it especially useful for employees who are out on the road. Customer support has also been excellent and very quick whenever needed.
Cons
somtimes the app can be a bit slow. I ran into some situations where it didn't load immediately and because of that I ended up missing a clock-in.

Pros
Uploading documents wasn't always very clear and the process could definitely be more simple and organized. Even with that we were still able to get it done and manage our work.

Pros
Payroll has been dependable and having online access to pay stubs is really convenient. It also feels secure for both the company and employees which is important for handling payroll information.

“payroll runs simple with self-service
Pros
Payroll runs are simple, the reporting options are flexible and it's simple to pull up and update employee information. The system cuts down on manual tasks and improves accuracy which saves time and helps avoid mistakes. I also really appreciate the employee self-service tools since they let people handle their own information without always needing HR involved. Overall, it's a dependable, user-friendly platform that supports both efficiency and compliance and it gives me more time to focus on strategic work instead of getting stuck in administrative tasks.
Cons
It can feel buggy and not very simple especially when moving between different modules. Some tasks take more clicks than they should and the layout is not always as user-friendly as it could be. Reporting is flexible but building reports can be complicated if you do not already have experience with it. On top of that, system updates or changes are not always communicated clearly which can lead to confusion. Customer support has also been inconsistent depending on the issue. Overall, it's a powerful system but there is definitely room to improve usability and make the experience more organized.

Pros
Using this product has been pretty simple. It's functional and simple to navigate. I mainly rely on it to track my time off and report absences and it handles those tasks well.

I wish it allowed adding days off retroactively. Once payroll has been processed, I'm no longer able to make changes. Since we're all salaried, it would be much more convenient to have the flexibility to update those entries throughout the year.

Pros
Getting started felt very smooth because the setup was simple and the platform was simple to use during onboarding. Kyle, my agent, also followed up with me regularly which I really appreciated.

Biggest downside is the pricing after the initial period. Since I'm running a one-person company, the cost per person ends up being higher than it would be for businesses with several employees though I do understand why that's the case.

“compliance and central system reduce errors
Pros
Having ADP handle compliance and tax filing takes a huge weight off our shoulders. As a mid-sized company, we simply don't have the bandwidth to keep up with changing state laws and tax codes ourselves so it's a big relief knowing that liability is being managed for us. It's also been really valuable to have one central system where payroll, benefits and time tracking actually connect with each other. That alone has reduced our manual data entry by at least half. On top of that, the mobile app has been a real plus for our team.. employees actually use it to check paystubs and submit PTO requests instead of constantly reaching out to HR.
Cons
Once implementation is over, support becomes a lot less reliable than I expected. Getting a clear answer from an actual person often turns into a frustrating trail of tickets and shared inboxes. The platform also isn't very simple so even basic tasks can mean clicking through multiple menus before getting where you need to go. The custom report builder especially feels outdated, like it hasn't had a meaningful refresh in years. Considering the premium price, I expected a more modern interface and a dedicated account manager who understood our company and our history.

“Payroll processing is fast
Pros
Payroll processing is fast and accurate and the reporting tools do a lot of heavy lifting when it comes to monitoring employee data, benefits and time off. The dashboard is laid out in a clean, structured way so finding what you need doesn't feel confusing or overwhelming. Overall, it saves a lot of time, cuts down on mistakes and helps keep everything compliant and running the way it should.
Cons
A downside with ADP Workforce Now is that some parts of the platform can be a little complex and not quite as simple as expected especially when working through detailed reports or advanced settings. New users may need some time to get comfortable and a few simple tasks can take more steps than they probably should. On top of that, occasional system updates can shift the layout around slightly which takes some readjustment. It's still a very capable platform but simplifying a few workflows would make it even better.

Pros
The latest version has a much more simplified interface and getting around it feels far more simple than it did before. The overall layout makes it noticeably quicker to locate important payroll and HR documents without having to dig through overwhelming menus.

“recruitment and benefits well covered
Pros
Recruitment is well covered thanks to the built-in applicant tracking system and the benefits side is a big plus since they serve as a large broker for health, dental and 401(k) plans. Onboarding also fits nicely into the process, with digital paperwork and background checks already built into the workflow.
Cons
The downside is that the design still feels pretty buggy. Even though ADP has been making updates, a lot of the ecosystem especially Workforce Now, still looks and behaves like something from the early 2000s. Simple actions can be hidden under too many menus and clicks. There's also a real learning curve because despite how capable the system is, it's not very simple. New admins usually need several hours of training just to run a basic payroll cycle correctly without making mistakes.
