“Reliable software but weak support

Pros

This system is super reliable. ADP does all the heavy lifting for payroll and I just put in the hours and it handles the rest. So easy.

Cons

I get connected to support reps who aren't as knowledgeable about the system as I am. During the pandemic, it felt like there was less accountability. I'd often hear "I need to escalate this" or worse, get disconnected mid-call without any follow-up.

I wish there were more features facilitating employee interaction, such as shared calendars for OOO and holidays.

The training options are great, both the live and self-paced ones. Perfect for getting the team up to speed. Customer support is awesome and the security is great.

The security prompts get pretty annoying after a while and waiting for someone to help can take forever. If your setup isn't right, people won't be able to hear you during calls.

so simple for my daily tasks: timecards, time-off requests and checking my paystubs. Plus some other cool features that help a ton.

The main issue I've run into is with the iPhone app.... it's just not as smooth as the desktop version. But honestly since I'm on the desktop site about 95% of the time anyway, it doesn't really affect my day-to-day use much.

It is very easy to use. The custom fields let us tweak things just how we like and I love that I can personalize my homepage. Signing docs is smooth, onboarding is quick and managing performance reviews is way easier than I thought.

Cons

The updating process can get a bit confusing since you have to make changes in multiple places like when I update benefits, I also need to remember to update the pay deduction section separately, which isn't always obvious.

I appreciate its comprehensive coverage, ranging from taxes to payroll and beyond. Plus, the reporting features are quite beneficial.

Other than occasionally challenging support interactions, I can't identify any significant problems with it.

speed can be a real problem sometimes though it's fixable. Some pages go down occasionally and wont load properly especially during weird hours.
