easy with payment flaws

Pros

It's easy to use and the field grabbers are awesome. I just wish the reporting features were a bit stronger.

Cons

The system can't round payments properly so employees end up getting paid a few pennies over their actual salary. Setting up local tax solutions is a real headache and getting K1 pay configured is more complicated than it should be.

Reliable through the years, poor outage communication

Pros

I've been using this for a long time now and it just feels really amazing. They're always updating it to match the latest rules which takes the guesswork out of my job and makes everything run smoother.

Cons

After ADP upgrades, it sometimes crashes with zero communication about when it'll be back online. You're left hunting for answers on the Bridge which is incredibly frustrating. Thankfully it doesn't happen frequently but still annoying when it does. The tax notice upload feature works well though for urgent tax issues I've learned to also contact my rep directly since relying on just the upload isn't always enough.

Mobile-first convenience

Pros

Mobile access for HR and payroll is a total game changer. Since we're all glued to our phones anyway, it just makes sense to have this info right there.

Cons

The support team and how they handle escalating problems could be way better. Managing cases is frustrating since I have to explain the same issue to every new person I talk to. Some of their support staff really know their stuff but others seem less informed about the system. At least the bridge feature works well though!

convenient but had a lot of tax delays

Pros

The mobile app is great because it gives my team access to everything they need. It's super convenient for everyone.

Cons

tax amendment process has taken our company several years to complete.

simple but rigid workflows

Pros

Mapping out workflows is so simple and interactive. I love how simple it makes it to get my processes organized.

Cons

It won't let me change when benefits kick in which is really frustrating. Also the standard reports look basic and could use better formatting options.

a shared compliance load

Pros

I don't have to stress about all the compliance tasks by myself anymore which is a huge relief. The system really helps share that load.

Cons

Getting support can be frustrating when changes are made to our configuration without fully understanding the downstream impact on other processes.

Quick but cluttered homepage

Pros

I like that I can find what I'm looking for really quickly. I don't have to dig through a bunch of confusing menus to get the info I need.

Cons

The homepage feels very cluttered and can be tough to find your way around at first.

easy after a tricky start

Pros

You can do most things in just a click or two. It feels a bit tricky at first but once you get the hang of it, finding your way around is very easy.

Cons

The training sessions are lacking. You go through multiple training sessions but when they're finished, you still feel like you didn't pick up enough to actually use the system confidently.

centralized but slow

Pros

Having all my resources, reports and analytics in one spot makes my job so much easier. The reports dashboard is really clear and I can pull team reports in no time.

Cons

pages constantly reload whenever you do anything major and that loading bar gets really annoying after a while.

it works but pricey

Pros

Handling payroll for different locations got a lot easier once I learned the system. It takes a minute to learn but it's totally worth it.

Cons

The add-ons come with flat-rate pricing that can get expensive fast when you need multiple features.

an all-in-one lifesaver

Pros

I love having all my HR tools in one place. Setting it up was simple and training my team online went off without a hitch. The support is top-notch, having a dedicated person to call for urgent payroll or benefits issues is a lifesaver.

Cons

support setup is veryfrustrating, only admins can actually call for help. If I'm managing a location remotely and run into issues, I cant contact support directly. Instead I have to go through HR first who then reaches out to the support team. It adds unnecessary steps when you need quick assistance.

smart recruiting, clumsy reports

Pros

The recruitment tool is hands-down my favorite part. Posting jobs is easy and the application info we get helps us make much smarter hiring choices.

Cons

Finding and running reports can be frustrating since the navigation isn't very easy. I often struggle to remember where specific reports are located and sometimes it takes way too long to track down what I need.

Overall ADP Review

Pros

We manage multiple companies, so having all functionalities easily accessible is very helpful.

Cons

Pros

Organized but hard to navigate

Pros

I can keep all our employee info like personal details, salary and taxes, neatly organized in one place. The permission settings are great because I can give people access only to what they need.

Cons

The categorization system isn't great so I often struggle to locate the right tab when I need specific information or results.

complete transformation

Pros

The recruitment features completely changed how we onboard people since our new hires are way more involved now. Benefits enrollment used to be a paper nightmare but now it's a smooth digital process that does everything for us. Their support team is also amazing at handling employee questions. Plus the analytics dashboard shows me real-time data I never had access to and I can build custom reports that save me so much time.

Cons

sometimes we struggle to locate specific online training materials for certain features though support responds quickly when I submit a case for help.

Pros

It was so handy being able to pull up old pay stubs from my last job.

Cons

Integration capabilities differ depending on your employer's setup as some let you modify withholdings directly while others use alternate methods and ADP WFN only provides read-only access

intuitive with rigid reports

Pros

Whole system just feels natural to use. I love that I can customize things and the navigation is so logical that anyone can figure it out.

Cons

reporting features are pretty flexible but creating custom reports isn't as simple as I'd like. The filter options feel restrictive and you can't really interact much when previewing reports.
