“Has everything you need
Pros
I am impressed by how this platform has everything you need to run a business. What really stands out to me is their huge network of other companies they work with which makes connecting all our different tools so much smoother.
Cons
The reporting features are very confusing and not user-friendly at all.

“Everything stays in one place
Pros
I appreciate that after we hire someone, everything stays in one place, payroll, benefits all of it. I find it pretty easy to get around and if I ever get stuck, customer support is right there in the chat to help me out.
Cons
The rollout of new features can be a bit bumpy and sometimes comes with unexpected glitches. While I appreciate that they're constantly working to improve things, it does require some patience on my end when these updates don't go smoothly at first.

“Easy with great data
Pros
how easy this is to use; the layout just makes sense. Being able to create my own custom reports is awesome and having all the past data right on the screen when I need it saves me a ton of time.
Cons
Finding historical pay statement data takes longer than I'd like since there's no quick way to pull it all into a single report.

“smooth and fantastic support
Pros
Interface is yser friendly and easy to find your way around. When I do have a problem, customer support is fantastic and they're friendly and jump on issues right away to fix them. The best part is all their vendor partnerships that make connecting with other apps so smooth.
Cons
Only downside is that I haven't come across any other payroll systems that match up to this one's quality which makes switching feel unnecessary but also means there's little room for comparison.

“saves time hiring
Pros
appreciate that our company uses so many different parts of this system. The talent and recruitment part is especially cool, when we hire someone, most of their application info just automatically pops into the system which saves us a huge amount of time.
Cons
Customer service is lacking. It seems like our rep has a very hard time getting back to us.

“Clean dashboard with basic tracking
Pros
The payroll dashboard is really simple and easy to use.
Cons
The applicant tracking features are very basic and could really use more advanced functionality. When you need system updates, you're pretty much stuck waiting for ADP since we practitioners have limited control over making changes ourselves.

“Works well with others
Pros
how well this works with our other systems. The way it connects with our time tracking, Wisely and Onboarding makes everything feel like it's working together perfectly.

“simple but limited features
Pros
It is pretty simple to use and does what we need it to do. There's nothing about it that really blows me away but it gets our daily tasks done without much trouble. I can't really say much about the setup process since I wasn't around for that part.
Cons
Coming from UKG, I'm frustrated that I can't do certain things here that were possible before and pretty disappointing considering ADP's size in the payroll industry. Really wish we could schedule earnings codes for things like auto allowances and cell phone reimbursements. The non-taxable payment setup requiring reverse deductions is annoying and feels like a mainframe limitation. While our main support rep Jada is fantastic and always honest, getting consistent answers from other reps is hit or miss. I've called multiple times about the same issue and gotten completely different responses each time.

“Onboarding wizards, security worries
Pros
The New Hire wizard makes onboarding so smooth and easy for everyone. I also really love the Termination Wizard, being able to handle someone's final pay right away instead of waiting for the payroll batch is a huge time-saver. Paying out unused vacation during termination is way more convenient. Every time I've had to contact customer service, they've been super friendly and knew exactly how to help. I use the Bridge feature all the time; it's genuinely useful. For benefits questions, the chat feature is great for getting quick answers. Running payroll is smooth and I love that reports are ready immediately. We used their Benefit Enrollment for the first time this year and it worked perfectly. Garnishments used to be a nightmare when we did them by hand and checks got lost or went to the wrong account. Now ADP just handles all of it automatically, which is amazing. We moved our 401k over from another provider to ADP and the switch was flawless. When we changed our main system, everything moved over without a hitch. We also had employees acknowledge policies through the platform recently and they could even do it on the mobile app with no problems. The home page setup is great and employees can clock in and out right from there now. We've also added retirement info, time off balances (so they can request time off) and other handy links.
Cons
One major drawback is the lack of expense reimbursement features and we're stuck using Concur alongside it when having everything in one place would be much more convenient. What really worries me though is the security issues we've encountered. We had a new hire dealing with identity fraud and when she logged in, she could see someone else's W-2 who shares her name and social security number. When I reached out about this, support basically said there was nothing they could do about it. It's concerning that personal information and tax documents can be viewed by the wrong person just because the system thinks they're the same individual with two jobs in different states. They really need better fraud protection measures.

“Central hub for documents
Pros
Having one central place where we can upload important documents and info for our team has been a total game-changer. No more having employees dig through a million emails to find the latest version of a form. Once it's all set up, it's really easy to show people where to find what they need.
Cons
support technicians sometimes give inconsistent information and I wish they'd document the exact steps they provide in tickets. When I need to recreate something I don't do regularly, I have to call back instead of just referencing the previous ticket for the directions that were given.

“Game changer for onboarding
Pros
I absolutely love the onboarding feature and it's been a game changer for us! New hires can do almost everything online and we can see in real-time where each person is in the process. It's completely changed how we do things and finally got us away from all that paper.
Cons
Honestly, the most frustrating part for me is moving employees between company codes when their pay changes. I have to manually transfer so many parts of their profile and it's a huge time-sink and it's way too easy to make a mistake. If I have several transfers to do, it can eat up my entire morning. Rehiring people is another headache. Former employees always seem to struggle to find the onboarding portal again which just creates confusion for everyone. And while I like having an all-in-one system, getting support is a major pain. Whenever I call with a question, I get transferred from department to department. It feels like no one has a full view of how everything works, so a simple question ends up taking hours just to get a straight answer.

“Everything works together
Pros
I love how everything is connected, HR, benefits and payroll all work together in one spot. The way time data automatically flows over to payroll and gets tracked is so convenient. Plus employees can update their own profiles, change their benefits and adjust their payroll deductions without having to bug me all the time.
Cons
service response times can be frustratingly slow sometimes and we've been shuffled between several account representatives over the years which was disruptive. Though our current rep has made things much better recently.

“Easy but slow help
Pros
the interface just feels natural to use and I love how easy it is to use, having the mobile app to check my time card and payroll info on the go is very convenient too.
Cons
Getting help when you need it takes way too long since there's no dedicated support team to reach out to.

“Lifesaver on my phone
Pros
so glad I can check my past paystubs and time punches right from my phone. It's a lifesaver for keeping track of everything when I'm not at my desk.
Cons
I keep running into login problems and have to reset my password frequently. The frustrating part is that you cant reuse any of your last 4 passwords which makes it really difficult to manage.

“amazing tools but tough setup
Pros
Been using this for over 6 years now. The HR and payroll tools are seriously amazing. And the support team is the best, whether I chat, call or email they're always quick and helpful.
Cons
Implementation has been a real headache for me. Every time I've gone through the setup process, there have been significant challenges and roadblocks. I've had implementation specialists switched on me multiple times and many of them just don't seem to have the deep product knowledge needed to get things running smoothly.

“Clutch for daily work
Pros
The employment profiles, timesheets and benefits sections are clutch for our day-to-day stuff.
Cons
sometimes it runs slow and freezes on me, plus I get random errors that force me to clear the cache constantly. Also frustrated that when someone enters more PTO than they actually have available, there's no warning or flag and people end up going negative without realizing it.

“Perfect for small companies
Pros
This works perfectly for HR people at small to mid-sized companies. Most things are really interactive which helps me get my HR work done way faster.
