helpful employment info at hand

Pros

Most of what I needed was right there whenever I checked it and the system was generally easy to use. All my employment details were readily available and it did a really good job keeping track of PTO and related information.

Cons

Every now and then, it would glitch and fail to load properly. Aside from that, the layout could be confusing at times and it wasn't always obvious where to go to find the information I needed.

Clean interface

Pros

Getting started with this system was really easy. The online walkthroughs do a good job of showing new employees how everything works which makes the learning process a lot easier. The interface is also very clear and simple to navigate.

Cons

Using it together with the time and attendance tools can be a bit challenging at times. It would also be helpful if there were a way to rate employer referral programs.

payroll details anytime

Pros

A mobile app where employees can log in and check their pay stubs with full details, see their remaining PTO and download copies of checks and W-2s has been fantastic! It has really cut down on the number of questions we have to answer and gives employees more independence since they can access that information whenever they need it.

Cons

The mobile app like many others, does not always show all of the same information that is available when you log in from a computer.

Pros

As an employee, the platform feels very simple to navigate. I really appreciate that it's web-based and I keep it bookmarked on both my computer and my iphone for quick access. It's also helpful to be able to enter missed punches along with notes. On top of that having tax forms and pay statements available to view in one place is really convenient.

Cons

Missed punch note screen could be improved. The save button sits at the bottom of the page instead of being placed near the section where you enter the note so employees often forget to scroll down and actually save it.

Huge advantage to have this

Pros

Everything being in one place is a huge plus for me. Payroll, timecards, time off, pay grades and the rest are all built into the same system so it covers basically everything I need in one spot.

Cons

I'd really like to see improvement in time entry. Since my schedule stays pretty much the same each week, it would save a lot of time if there were a way to copy, paste or duplicate a previous week instead of entering each day and lunch break manually.

handy access to pay info

Pros

All of the software feels easy for the average user! It gives quick access to all the important payroll details, including pay stubs and printing them out is simple too.

Cons

The maintenance schedule can be frustrating especially for employees who work night shifts. When that happens, adjusting timecards ends up being more of a workaround than a real fix.

benefits enrollment works well

Pros

Because the platform is web-based, employees can access it without trouble when working remotely. The benefits enrollment tools are also easy to use and make the process efficient.

Cons

Getting the system set up initially with our General Ledger was challenging because our historical GL structure did not line up well with the default format in the platform's mapping tools. On top of that, it was hard to get timely support from the platform while we were working through the integration.

Good performance

Pros

The platform keeps things simple which makes a big difference in day-to-day use. The navigation is easy and the updated, more modern design over the last few years has definitely made the system feel better to use. Everything is organized into tabs so it's usually right where you expect it to be and quick to find. I also haven't run into issues with lag or random timeouts which makes it very dependable.

Cons

A feature I'd still like to see is single sign-on, unless it already exists and we just aren't using it at my institution. That would be a really valuable addition to the software.

Improved a lot

Pros

After more than 10 years of using the platform, I've seen the platform improve a lot in terms of functionality. It handles open enrollment, policy acknowledgements, W-4 reporting and benefits tracking really well. One thing I especially appreciate is having access to historical information. We also recently added Doc Cloud and it's been really nice to keep all of our documents stored in one place.

Cons

Reporting still needs improvement. The data is in the system but the reports available to pull that information aren't very user friendly. For instance, the gross pay report is excellent but there isn't a report that breaks down which categories the figures are coming from. The performance review module also lacks customization especially when it comes to adding forms. On top of that, when upgrades are rolled out, the impact they have on other parts of the software doesn't always seem to be considered.

So valuable

Pros

Having everything in one place makes the platform really valuable as an employee tool. It helps me stay on top of my benefits, vacation balance, time off, calendar and other important work-related resources without having to look in different places. It also works well as a direct communication channel from HR to employees for announcements, training reminders and company updates. Overall, it feels like a very useful centralized HR portal.

Cons

The portal does feel a bit limited since there's only so much information available inside it. I'd also like to see more interactive resources included, such as videos and similar content.

Dependable self-service access

Pros

Everything about the platform feels user friendly and dependable. I'm able to pull up all the employment information I need in just a few clicks, without having to wait on HR to help me find it.

Cons

One small issue comes up when I'm entering manual time for employees. If I add break times, the cursor jumps to the second line instead of staying where it should. It's only an extra step so it's a pretty minor flaw overall.

time tracking works well

Pros

Keeping up with employee hours and related information is pretty easy with this system.

Cons

There have been several times when the location didn't register correctly which ended up blocking employees from signing in.

easy to use

Pros

Handling payroll in the platform has been very easy and the newer employee self-service updates have been a really nice addition. One feature that stands out is PTO requests since employees can now submit their time-off requests directly in the platform instead of relying on another process.

Cons

At times, the system can feel a bit slow though I suspect that has more to do with the large number of employees in our company and the amount of information I need to work through every day.

I'm impressed

Pros

The platform has been the strongest ATS I've used! It does an excellent job pushing my openings out to just about every major job board which has made posting much more effective. Their built in CRM is also one of the best I've seen in an ATS. If getting your jobs distributed across the top job boards matters, the platform is absolutely the right choice! The CRM side is just as impressive and really stands out.

Cons

Customer support can be a bit inconsistent at times so it helps to stay on top of things to keep everything running the way it should. Aside from that it's been a real home run :)

organizes my workflow

Pros

A big advantage to have everything in human capital management in one place! From payroll and benefits to HR, talent management, labor and analytics! The self-service portal is easy to use so employees can quickly find and manage their own information. Payroll is also much more organized which has helped make our overall workflow more efficient.

Cons

We've run into a few cases where vacation accrual didn't calculate correctly which caused employee time not to carry over as expected. There also seems to be an occasional issue with the browser back button. Instead of returning the user to the previous page, it sometimes jumps back to the start of the process or it won't go back at all which means starting over.

paycheck breakdown is fantastic!

Pros

One feature I really appreciate is the pie chart that shows exactly how my payroll check is divided by percentage so it's very clear where the biggest deductions are coming from. It's also a big plus that this is available a day before the paycheck actually gets deposited.

Cons

At least with our company's setup, we can't view contact phone numbers and there's no option to customize the dashboard so the most important items show up the way we'd prefer.

simple workflow

Pros

all pay details in one place

Pros

Access to every part of my pay, taxes and each deduction right on my pay stubs is really helpful. I can see everything clearly in one place and it also lets me go paperless which I appreciate.

Cons

Not being able to connect multiple platform accounts is frustrating. I have to keep signing in and out every time I want to switch which gets inconvenient.

helpful paycheck breakdown view

Pros

Paycheck layout is really well organized with a clear breakdown that groups everything nicely. Income types, expenses and deductions are separated in a way that makes them very simple to compare at a glance.

Cons

I really don't have any complaints about the software since it works well both on mobile and on the web. If anything, it would be nice to have an added feature for including other income and expense items.

handy HR tools

Pros

The mobile app is a big plus because I don't have to be at my desktop to log in and check my account details. The platform is pretty simple to navigate and I can quickly pull up my pay statements along with the full breakdown of each one. It's also really convenient that HR training is included on the same platform.

Cons

If PTO requests automatically deducted the approved hours, that would makes things better. Right now even after a manager approves the time off, it can still look like nothing was actually subtracted which makes the whole process pretty confusing.
