helpful paystub tracking tools

Pros

Keeping up with all my paystubs on this platform has been really convenient. The charts and graphs look excellent and once you spend a little time learning where everything is, it becomes very user friendly and simple to work with.

Cons

At times, the system can feel a bit slow. Getting around the platform can also be somewhat confusing since the navigation does not always feel very accessible.

helpful tax forms, frustrating app

Pros

Once I'm logged in, getting around the system is pretty easy. The clock in process is simple and user friendly and being able to pull up older tax documents makes things much more convenient.

Cons

The biggest problem is how often the app crashes and how slow it runs. Since I work remotely, that really matters because I'm constantly trying to sign in and most of the time it doesn't work on the first attempt.

single place for records

Pros

Whatever I need is pulled into one spot here: pay stubs, tax forms and records from any employer I've worked for that uses the platform. It also includes helpful charts and other data and I can print documents whenever I need to which makes the whole system really useful.

Cons

Access can become frustrating after leaving a company. In a lot of cases, once you're removed from that employer's list, getting back into your the login is difficult and it feels like you're locked out completely. I really wish there were a personal account option for anyone who has been paid through the platform so access wouldn't depend on a current employer.

Simple to navigate

Pros

Everything in the platform feels very easy and simple to navigate which makes it really convenient to update and keep track of my hours, pay, 401k and benefits all in one place.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see is more reporting functionality, along with the ability to customize the dashboard or choose different ways to view the information.

handles things well

Pros

Something that really stands out with the platform is how well they handle tax notices and related issues. Once the tax team starts reviewing an inquiry, I don't have to spend much time worrying about it which is a huge relief.

Cons

The interface could be a lot more user friendly. A lot of the platform doesn't feel accessible and even very simple tasks tend to take more steps than they should. Customer support has also been hit or miss and some of the implementation specialists have been among the most difficult people I've had to work with. It really feels like a mixed bag depending on who you get.

outdated interface and slow reports

Pros

The platform covers just about every function you might need although it tends to get there much more slowly than competing platforms. A few problems have never been resolved and are mostly ongoing annoyances, like notifications being sent to the wrong people. Still, it's concerning when support says certain issues are simply "unfixable."

Cons

Interface feels dated and awkward to work with. It also doesn't allow multiple tabs to be open at once which is frustrating. On top of that, reports that take less than 10 seconds in other systems can take anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes here.

accessible workflows for HR teams

Pros

Coming from an HRIS background, the system feels very accessible to work with. Team members with less experience can still pick it up quickly and understand how to use it. The logic paths built into the platform also help keep processes and procedures more organized and simplified.

Cons

The software itself is well developed but the client support is only decent at best. The platform's service representatives do not always seem knowledgeable across the different modules. It would help a lot if customer calls were routed more carefully based on the specific module or standard menu configuration involved.

mixed updates

Pros

The platform has been making a real effort to keep improving the platform and that has helped the overall design, functionality and even some of the modules they offer. Payroll for the most part, has remained consistent which has been a positive.

Cons

At the same time, not every update has worked out well. Some changes have created inconsistent looking menus and altered functionality that really didn't need to be changed. The performance module has improved over the years but it still comes with enough quirks to make implementation and testing frustrating. Payroll has been fairly stable overall but a recent wave of issues with time entry has made it harder to feel confident about doing our work correctly.

faster timecard approvals

Pros

Reviewing, approving or making changes to timecards in the platform is quick and easy. Something that used to feel like a time-consuming task now takes much less effort and gets done faster.

Cons

Sometimes the user interface feels a bit hard to navigate and the system has occasionally seemed slow as well.

hard to navigate payroll tools

Pros

Honestly, there wasn't a lot that stood out in a positive way. Every now and then we were connected with a specialist who was actually helpful but most of the time I ended up having to re-explain the same issue to someone new.

Cons

The system is not very user friendly. I've worked in payroll for years so while I'm not claiming to be an expert, I do have solid experience and this software still requires you to be very knowledgeable in payroll just to use it and make sense of it. Even with that background, I still had a hard time finding answers through the Bridge and the support resources.

Good platform overall

Pros

Handling PTO requests and correcting or approving time cards is very easy with this system. It's also convenient to pull up or print my annual W-2 whenever I need it and updating HSA contribution amounts is something I can do without much hassle.

Cons

Certain features can be difficult to locate when you're not already familiar with where everything is and the interface could definitely feel cleaner and more polished.

PTO tracking works well

Pros

Navigation feels easy and the system is very user friendly overall. Updating time entries is simple and making adjustments when needed is quick. It also makes it convenient to submit changes and keep track of PTO requests.

Cons

Getting in touch with the right person to talk through issues is not always as simple as it should be. That said, once you have the correct contact numbers, reaching whoever you need usually becomes much easier.

Easy to use

Pros

emphasis on user friendly

Pros

Once you learn the basic navigation, the platform becomes pretty easy to use. Logging hours, adding lunch break blocks and marking time as worked, holiday or PTO all end up being simple tasks.

Cons

Starting with the software was a little challenging at first. Some tools can be tough to locate while navigating the site but with a bit of guidance, it usually becomes manageable to use.

customized payroll

Pros

The platform does a really nice job of aligning the payroll system with the specific needs of your business. I also appreciate the a la carte approach since it lets you choose the features and services that fit instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all setup.

Cons

The only downside I've run into is that it can sometimes take a while to get a response from a representative and the wait times can be longer than I'd like.

Pros

A real positive experience! The platform is very user friendly and I can usually find whatever I need without wasting time searching around.

Cons

I've worked with this platform at a different employer so I know there are certain features that can be enabled or disabled and some of those were genuinely useful. My frustration is really more with my employer deciding not to use those options.

reliable features and steady improvements

Pros

Easy to use and my past experience with other related products definitely helped me get up to speed and make the most of it. There are a lot of features I really enjoy and it's clear the platform has continued to improve over the 10+ years I've been working with their products.

Cons

One thing I'm not a fan of is having to call in for time and attendance issues. I would much rather be able to handle that by email.

flexible and responsive platform

Pros

Using the platform has been a really positive experience. The system is easy to navigate and its functionality is flexible enough to handle different needs well. Customer support is excellent which makes a big difference when questions come up. The platform is also very responsive so everything runs efficiently and accurately on a consistent basis.

Cons

One area that could use some improvement is reporting. The reporting tools themselves work well but creating custom reports can feel a bit inconvenient and takes more time than it probably should.

Pros

Checking paychecks, time off, vacation balances and similar items is pretty easy in this software. It also has a nice-looking interface and works well as a single place to handle everything.

Cons

Navigating the portal can be a bit frustrating at times especially when trying to locate something specific. A more accessible layout would definitely make it better.

Pros

Being able to check work-related details anytime is really useful. I don't have to be at work to see things like my hours worked or how much vacation time I have available which makes the app very convenient.

Cons

There really isn't anything I dislike about the app. It's pretty easy to use and nothing about it has been disappointing to me.
