efficient all-in-one platform

Pros

Posting to different job boards is incredibly smooth and it's all in one place which saves me so much time. The onboarding is way more efficient now too thanks to the checklists that help push new hires through quickly.

Cons

This thing plays nice with all our other systems and job boards. Honestly it's been flawless for us, no cons.

Quick tracking with one flaw

Pros

I really like how you can move applicants through different stages. It makes tracking the process simple.

Cons

so annoying that candidates we've rejected can just apply again. It clutters everything up and makes it hard to keep track.

applicantstack is just really simple to use. No complaints.

Cons

When we rehire someone it should just automatically move them to onboarding. The fact that I have to do it manually is such a waste of time.

centralized recruiting with game-changing texting

Pros

The recruiting tools keep everything organized in one spot and texting candidates directly is a total game-changer. It helps me stay on top of my schedule so much better. For onboarding, having all the paperwork in one place is huge, no more copying forms and it makes us look way more professional.

Cons

Its difficult to use at the beginning because this program does so much and it's honestly a bit overwhelming. They do have a huge learning library that covers everything if you take the time to watch the videos. But as someone who's a bit older, I would have much preferred a personal instructor or a real, live class to learn it.

simple to post multiple jobs

Pros

applicantstack is simple to post multiple jobs at once. The conditional offer letters are handy and I love that it automatically sends applicant data to ClearCare without me having to do anything.

Cons

I really wish I could get a better sense of who applicants are as people. For me someone's character is just as important as their skills and it's hard to gauge that from a resume alone.

efficient layout with automated profiles

Pros

The layout is super efficient and simple. Adding candidates is easy and I love that it automatically pulls profiles from Indeed and Google. The onboarding feature has been a massive time-saver for bringing new people on board.

Cons

The only thing that would make this better is if it had automatic scheduling built right in. We have to use a separate tool for that now and it would be so much easier to have everything in one place.

Made for busy HR people

Pros

You can tell this platform was built by people in HR. It just gets what we need. Everything is sooo simple and clear to use. I can set up new job postings fast, share applications with my team in a couple of clicks and the search history works great for finding old info. Getting reports is easy too.

Cons

I am sure there's a lot more this platform can do but I just haven't had the time to explore it all. Being a one-person HR team means I'm always swamped so I feel like I'm not using it to its full potential.

all our hiring in one place

Pros

Having everything in one central location is great. The UI is user friendly and has made us more efficient. It's easy to handle everything from one platform and I especially like how it automatically messages applicants as they move through each stage.

Cons

For a while my email notifications weren't working right so I had to constantly check the app itself for updates. It was a issue but thankfully they got it sorted out.

Top notch help from support

Pros

support from Jeff Crouse is absolutely outstanding, that's the real highlight for me. I'm also so impressed with all the new integrations and solutions they keep rolling out.

Cons

The settings area is kind of confusing to use. For example just to get a job ad to refresh on the boards, you have to go through the whole process of "updating" it even if you didn't change a single thing.

Works well for our small shop

Pros

The software is so efficient which is perfect for our small business. We use it to hire both field and office staff and having everything in one platform makes the whole process much smoother.

Cons

I sometimes forget to hit the final "launch" button after I post a job. So the job just sits there and I'm left confused about why we have no applicants. It would be great if posting it automatically made it go live.

fast remote onboarding

Pros

The organization features are flexible and getting signatures remotely makes onboarding so much faster. I love not having to bring people into the office anymore. It's much better than other stuff we've tried.

Cons

Honestly it runs really smoothly and I can't think of much that's missing. Maybe just some pop-up tips or a predictive text feature would be a nice little addition.

Cons

Reports can be very slow to generate. It gets a little frustrating when you're in a hurry and need to pull data quickly.

I really like the templates and they look great and it's super easy to customize them for what I need.

Cons

gets us the staff we need

Pros

Their interface is so simple and handy, I can just get in, do what I need to do and get out. It's fantastic at pulling in caregivers which is exactly why we got it. I tried a few others and this one is definitely my favorite.

Cons

I add an inquiry and it just vanishes and it doesn't show up in the new applications section. I've had to start writing them down in a notebook because I can't trust that I'll find them in the system later.

Pros

How simple it is to post a new job opening. The whole process is smooth and doesn't require me to jump through hoops.

Cons

starting a new job position in the system feels awkward to the employees. It's not as simple as I think it should be.

all-in-one solution with a few issues

Pros

Having everything for hiring and HR in one central platform is a game-changer. All our candidate info is there and doing onboarding paperwork digitally is so much smoother. It's also great that the employee handbook is right there for everyone. My absolute favorite part is the History Tab and it's incredibly useful for tracking all the activity and communication. The team can leave notes for each other and there's a clear timeline of what happened and when. It creates total transparency and makes working together easy.

Cons

I really wish I could add stars or tabs on a candidate's summary page. I want to flag people for specific things like marking someone who has a criminal background, noting if we set up a password for them or tagging their preferred shifts so I can search for that later. Also, the search function needs to be better. I want to search through our internal HR notes and history tags, not just the cover letters.

Friendly, fast and fairly priced

Pros

This is so user friendly and has been a real time saver for my daily routine. I am definitely more efficient and I love that my job postings reach a much wider audience. Plus, the price is really reasonable and fits our budget perfectly.

Cons

My only small complaint is that I wish I could preview a message before I send it when I'm closing applications. Sometimes I forget which template I picked and I'd love to see it first. It's a very minor thing though and I really enjoy using the system overall.
