excellent once you're set up

Pros

It is made our hiring process so much smoother. The reports are really good and their customer service is excellent. Whenever I have a question or a small problem, they're always quick to help me out.

Cons

setting everything up took way longer than I thought it would. But once we got over that initial hump it became easy to use.

Full candidate tracking with strong analytics

Pros

I can see a candidate's entire journey from the second they apply. I track everything background checks, interviews, offers. The reports are fantastic, I can see where people are coming from and why they drop out. It helps me spot the best candidates and see where I can improve as a manager.

Cons

My biggest issue is with the automatic logouts. If I step away from my desk for a while, it looks like I'm still logged in. I'll write up a whole bunch of notes or make changes, only to find out I was logged out the whole time when I hit save. I wish it was more like my bank's website which makes it super obvious when your session has ended so I don't waste my time.

simple sorting but confusing reports

Pros

Candidates find the application process very easy and it's simple for us to sort through them. My favorite part is how we can all see what stage each candidate is in. It keeps our whole team on the same page.

Cons

The reporting feature can be very confusing. I've also noticed that the numbers it gives me don't always line up with what we have in our own records.

easy to use, limited candidate view

Pros

I find it easy to get around. I can get a quick look at where every candidate is in the pipeline without any fuss.

Cons

I really wish there was a simple way to see all of our active candidates in one place instead of only being able to view people who applied for a specific job.

Pros

It made getting started so smooth. I can do all the paperwork digitally from anywhere which saves me a ton of time.

Cons

simple tracking, repetitive setup

Pros

I handle hiring for a small company and this makes tracking candidates so easy. I can see exactly where everyone is in the process without any issue.

Cons

setting up a new candidate feels repetitive. I have to make the same selections in several different spots which just seems more complicated than it needs to be.

Custom applications with auto-posting, limited question editing

Pros

Love that I can build custom applications and questions for each job. And it automatically posts our listings on our website and all the big job boards. It's been fantastic for getting our jobs seen and attracting great people.

Cons

I have to contact a site admin every single time I need to remove a question from a questionnaire. It gets old fast. If I could just do that myself, it would save me a ton of time and make everything run smoother.

Flexible and time-saving fit

Pros

Its so flexible even for someone like me who isn't a tech whiz. It fits right in with our other software and being able to upload onboarding paperwork has saved us so much time. I am really happy with it.

Cons

so far I haven't really run into anything that bothers me. It's been good!

efficient but needs better reports

Pros

This system lets me organize and review candidates way more efficiently. I spend less time digging through files which makes me much more productive in my HR job.

Cons

I wish I could create more detailed reports. For example, I'd love to track how many applicants move through each hiring stage over a certain period and have access to more of their personal data. Also finding past applicants is annoying and I have to manually search for people from certain years or jobs instead of having good filters.

flexible but not user-friendly

Pros

The flexibility is what really stands out. Working with our rep has helped us solve different problems and get insights that have genuinely improved how we work.

Cons

The interface isn't the most user-friendly especially if you're not super good with tech. Without training, you'll notice some features that are repeated and some things that just aren't consistent. The email triggers and how you manually enter inquiries are especially confusing.

Pros

setup for our hiring workflow is great. I also find the templates very helpful for responding to candidates and setting up interviews.

Cons

It is so frustrating that I can't just edit an email template without having to leave the whole process. It makes me start over every time.

Cons

I like that I can easily see where each candidate is in the process and how my team can work together on everything. It keeps us all connected.

Cons

The signature fields can be very glitchy for me. Sometimes they just lose the information I typed in or I get random error messages that don't make any sense.

Pros

Consistent and reliable this program is. The admin side is simple to handle and having all my tools in one spot makes everything flow better. It's always up-to-date and help is there when I need it. Those onboarding videos were a lifesaver for getting me started quickly.

Pros

applicantstack has helped our company run more smoothly and communicate better. Our whole team has definitely become more efficient.

Cons

The onboarding process could definitely be better. I pretty much had to figure everything out on my own because there wasn't a good introduction or any real training to show me how things work.
