“Poor service
Pros
I've relied on this software for four years and even contributed ideas for enhancements, many of which they actually implemented. I invested that effort because I wanted the tool to improve. The result was a noticeably much better product that fit our company's workflow and was overall really decent to operate within.
Cons
When I tried to open a new account for another agency, their response was extremely slow, probably because my company was small and I only needed a single seat to begin with. That unresponsiveness felt like poor customer service. Now that we have expanded and need multiple seats I am switching to a company that genuinely wants my business and values it.

“slow with single screen limit
Pros
I appreciate that the team rolls out updates on a regular basis and takes the time to let us know about each new feature as it arrives.
Cons
Honestly I've been frustrated because the software is usually quite slow and I notice the lag most when I'm signing in or trying to upload documents, plus, it really bothers me that only a single screen can be open at once which limits how I work.

“Steady stream of new features and updates
Pros
I've seen Avionte really push out new features and make the platform easier to use and I value the steady stream of updates and upgrades, they've been incredibly helpful to our team and I appreciate that they're making an effort to keep ahead of industry trends.
Cons
At times the main system feels fairly clunky, even though I've noticed it packs a wide range of capabilities. From my perspective, much of the product seems tailored toward industrial staffing rather than the executive and professional placements my firm focuses on. Because our workflows differ, many of the search and filtering tools I expect for our type of recruiting are missing or not as simple in Avionte.

“Good back-office reports
Pros
Up till now I really like the back-office reports and the online onboarding process.
Cons
As an admin, I find the Remote Desktop Connection really slow and awkward to use. On top of that, all Avionte users still show up in my program instead of being limited to just my employees which is frustrating.

I appreciate the high degree of customization available and I like that the front- and back-office are fully integrated so I can handle everything from a single place.
Cons
That said the interface and back-office configuration feels clunky at times and I often struggle with the setup process. Granting admin rights is more complicated than it should be so I'd like a simpler way to assign permissions to users. Also, it would really help if I could tailor reports more easily.

I find the software easy and user friendly. Support is great!

Sometimes features aren't enabled unless someone specifically asks for them and if you don't realize you need a particular option or phrase the right questions, it often took me a couple of calls before I discovered that a feature hadn't been turned on.

As a user I really appreciate having a wide range of features available through the main application and the web-based modules because it lets me tackle different tasks without switching tools. Beyond that, the platform is impressively detailed and comprehensive so I can perform virtually any action I need for my work. The employee and client portals we use are particularly helpful and simple making routine tasks quick and easy to complete.
Cons
Sometimes I get frustrated by the web-based modules' limitations because they don't yet offer the full functionality of the desktop system which slows me down.

“incredibly simple with excellent support
Pros
For me the platform is incredibly simple and I can tweak several settings so they behave exactly how I want them to. The customer support has been excellent, they genuinely care and prefer to teach you how to resolve issues by walking you through the steps instead of just fixing things for you. Updates roll out every month and there's very useful online help as well. I've tried a few ATS solutions and this one feels like the best fit.
Cons
I honestly can't think of any major downsides. Occasionally the system runs a bit slowly though I've noticed that's probably due to our own setup rather than the software itself.

I'm still using the Core App and what I appreciate most is having every piece of information I need displayed on a single screen. Navigation is simple, everything is simple to locate and I find the application to be quite responsive in daily use.
Cons
The customer service and support have been terrible. We're more than two months out from conversion and I still don't have ACA reporting available which is really frustrating. Because our data is so inconsistent, we can't use the Web Modules, the whole point was that they would mirror the Core App but in our case they do not. Our account rep is also completely unresponsive, calls and emails go unanswered, even when our company VP reaches out. I went to CONNECT and left thinking some of my outstanding questions about reporting and searching were answered, yet when I tried to apply those instructions in my environment they simply didn't work. It seems likely that a poor data conversion is the root cause but nobody on the support side has helped get it fixed.

Pros
I find the system very user-friendly because it ties into several integrations that make our day-to-day workload much easier for staffing coordinators. For example we use the criminal background check and E-Verify integrations. Also the electronic documents spare the coordinators from filling out unnecessary paperwork since everything is handled electronically.
Cons
Regarding how jobs are posted from job orders out to job boards I'm not happy with the current process. It feels difficult and could be more organized to improve efficiency.

“Feature-rich but no built-in reporting

From my experience this is an incredibly feature-rich platform and I find the back-office modules to be outstanding and very well designed.
Cons
However the complete lack of a built-in reporting feature or dashboards is a huge downside for me. I find it incredibly irritating that I cannot create my own reports myself and am instead forced to pay extra to have one developed, it feels like a cheap ploy. Exporting data is likewise a nightmare, getting the information out and saving it to my local desktop so I can reshape and analyze it into a usable, shareable report is far more difficult than it should be. On top of that, the absence of open APIs to let external dashboarding tools connect makes the situation even more aggravating.

“does the basic work but not a very advance product

I appreciate that it comes with an integrated back office. It's really easy to learn and I was able to start using it immediately. In literally just a few minutes someone on my team could be up and running. Their customer service is fantastic and very helpful.
Cons
However I've noticed the reporting isn't very powerful and I often have to do a lot of manual work in Excel after running most reports. The naming conventions can be confusing which slowed me down. When I requested new features they were added but I was billed for the development time.
